Is VEBSON a scam?

Confirmed scamHIGH confidence
Updated August 28, 2026
Fake regulation and withdrawal trap

Yes, on the evidence VEBSON is a scam. It advertises a US regulatory licence that does not exist, is named on a national regulator's public warning list, and clients across several platforms report that their money was not returned.

  • The site claims National Futures Association licence No. 0563836. That number returns no result on the NFA's own BASIC register, so the licence is fabricated.
  • The Securities Commission Malaysia lists vebson.com on its Investor Alert List for carrying on unlicensed capital market activities.
  • The only real registration is a Saint Lucia International Business Company (No. 2023-00468), which is a company registration, not a financial licence.
  • On Trustpilot, 125 reviews average 1.6 out of 5 with 86 percent one-star, dominated by withdrawals paid in part then stopped, and accounts blocked during withdrawal.
  • The operation is young: the oldest domain dates from September 2023, and the main site now shows only a blank placeholder.

Regulation

7/10 · High

Advertises NFA licence 0563836 that returns no result on the NFA register; named on the Securities Commission Malaysia Investor Alert List; no genuine financial licence anywhere.

Identity & transparency

9/10 · Critical

Fabricated regulator certificate, unverifiable Singapore and Kenya offices, a UK IT-consultancy shell now dissolved, and a bare offshore Saint Lucia IBC behind client funds.

Withdrawals & conduct

9/10 · Critical

Fund-integrity pattern: payouts part-paid then stopped, accounts blocked during withdrawal, requests frozen 'under verification', with specific amounts and dates across multiple platforms.

Reputation

9/10 · Critical

Trustpilot 1.6 of 5 across 125 reviews, 86 percent one-star, plus a national regulator investor alert; overwhelmingly negative and unresolved.

Website claims

10/10 · Critical

Claims a US NFA licence it does not hold, presents a poorly made fake certificate image, and asserts offices that do not exist in Singapore or Kenya.

Operational history

6/10 · High

Under three years old; oldest domain September 2023, and the live site now serves only a placeholder, indicating a short and already-decaying operation.

Regulation

No proof found

Proof of regulation on an official register: No

We could not confirm this broker on any genuine regulator’s register.

Licences the broker publishes

National Futures Association (NFA)

UnverifiedTier 1
US self-regulatory body for futures and retail forex. The claimed ID 0563836 returns no result on the NFA BASIC register, so no such registration exists.
Protection: None - the licence is fabricated and confers no protectionOfficial register

Saint Lucia (International Business Company registration)

VerifiedNot a forex licenceLimited relevance
A company registration, not a financial licence. Saint Lucia does not license or supervise forex brokers, so this gives clients no regulatory protection.
Protection: None - company registration only

FinCEN (Money Services Business registration)

UnverifiedNot a forex licence
A US anti-money-laundering registration for money-services businesses. It is not a trading licence and does not authorise or supervise a brokerage.
Protection: None - not financial regulation of a broker
NFA BASIC register returns no result for the claimed licence ID 0563836, confirming the NFA licence is fabricated (captured 28 Aug 2026).
Securities Commission Malaysia Investor Alert List entry naming Vebson at vebson.com for unlicensed capital market activities (captured 28 Aug 2026).

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

Three independent findings put this beyond doubt.

  • The regulation is fake. We searched the NFA's BASIC register for the exact ID the broker prints, 0563836, and it returned no results, meaning the firm is not and has never been registered with the CFTC. A licence number that resolves to nothing is a fabrication, not a paperwork gap.
  • A regulator has already warned about it. The Securities Commission Malaysia names Vebson on its Investor Alert List, tied to the exact domain vebson.com, with the remark that it is carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities.
  • Clients report their money did not come back. Trustpilot shows 125 reviews at 1.6 out of 5, 86 percent one-star, describing the same failure: one payout of USD 3,458 part-paid at USD 1,500 then silence, payouts stuck 'under verification' for weeks, and accounts blocked during withdrawal. The complaints are specific, clustered in 2025, and repeat across more than one platform.

The corporate story does not hold up either. The UK company it leaned on, VEBSON. LTD (16102292), was incorporated in November 2024 for IT consultancy, not broking, and was dissolved on 19 May 2026. Claimed offices in Singapore and Kenya do not correspond to any registration. The genuine Saint Lucia IBC is a low-cost company registration that confers no licence to hold client funds. Taken together this is an unregulated deposit-taking operation dressed up with a fake US licence.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

In fairness, we looked for an innocent reading.

  • The Saint Lucia company registration is genuine, so the business does legally exist as a company.
  • A young broker can be poorly reviewed simply because it is new and support is weak, and competitors do sometimes plant negative reviews.
  • Some grievances are ordinary trading complaints about slippage and server stability rather than theft.

None of this survives contact with the record. A real company registration is not a trading licence, and it cannot excuse advertising an NFA licence that does not exist. The negative reviews are not vague competitor noise: they carry amounts, dates and the same withdrawal-blocking mechanism, and an independent regulator has separately flagged the domain. The fabricated licence alone is decisive.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

We would revisit this verdict if:

  • The NFA BASIC register showed licence 0563836 genuinely belonging to Vebson LTD with a matching website and address.
  • The Securities Commission Malaysia removed vebson.com from its Investor Alert List and stated the listing was made in error.
  • A credible, verifiable pattern of paid withdrawals emerged to offset the current fund-integrity complaints.

Until then the evidence points one way.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

11 questions
Is VEBSON a scam?

On the available evidence, yes. It advertises a US NFA licence that does not exist, is named on the Securities Commission Malaysia Investor Alert List, and clients report withdrawals that were partly paid then stopped or blocked.

Is VEBSON regulated?

No. The NFA licence number it prints (0563836) returns no result on the NFA register. Its only genuine document is a Saint Lucia company registration, which is not a financial licence. Saint Lucia does not license forex brokers.

Can I withdraw my money from VEBSON?

Many users report they could not. Complaints describe payouts part-paid then halted, accounts blocked during withdrawal, and requests stuck 'under verification' for weeks.

Is my money safe with VEBSON?

No. There is no regulator overseeing the firm and no compensation scheme. An unregulated offshore operation gives you no protection if it keeps your funds.

Who owns VEBSON?

The site is operated by Vebson LTD, a Saint Lucia International Business Company (registration 2023-00468). A separate UK company, VEBSON. LTD, was an IT-consultancy shell that has since been dissolved.

How old is VEBSON?

It is a young operation. The main domain vebson.com was registered in September 2023, and the vebsonfx.com domain only in May 2025, so it has under three years of history.

What is the NFA licence 0563836 worth?

Nothing, because it does not exist. A search of the NFA BASIC register for that ID returns no results, which means the number was fabricated.

Is VEBSON a clone of another broker?

We found no evidence it impersonates a specific regulated firm. The regulator's remark describes unlicensed activity rather than cloning. The core problem is a fake licence and unpaid withdrawals.

Why does the website look empty now?

The live www.vebson.com address currently serves a blank placeholder, and the vebsonfx.com certificate has expired. The broker content is only visible in archived snapshots from 2024 and 2025.

What should I do if I was scammed by VEBSON?

Stop depositing, request your funds in writing, and file a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Report it to your national regulator and police, and ignore anyone offering paid fund recovery.

What should I check before depositing with any broker?

Confirm the licence number directly on the regulator's official register, check the regulator's warning lists, and read recent independent reviews for withdrawal problems before sending any money.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat VEBSON as a scam and do not deposit.

  • Do not send new money, and do not pay any 'tax', 'fee' or 'verification' charge demanded to release a balance.
  • If you already deposited, request a full withdrawal in writing, keep every record, and raise a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card provider.
  • Report the loss to your national financial regulator and to the police cybercrime unit.
  • Ignore anyone who contacts you offering to recover your funds for an upfront fee, as that is a common follow-up scam.
