Independent safety report

Is VFSMarkets a scam?

Likely scamMEDIUM confidence
Unlicensed broker with false regulatory claims, now defunct

Probably yes. VFSMarkets held no financial licence anywhere, told clients that a Saint Vincent company registration meant it was regulated, and advertised a Swiss licence application through a company that does not exist in the Swiss commercial register. Its website and client portal have been dark since late 2025.

  • The only registration behind the brand is a Saint Vincent LLC, number 830, incorporated 1 February 2021. The Saint Vincent FSA states in its own public notices that it does not issue forex licences and does not regulate LLCs engaged in forex. That register now shows the company as Cancelled.
  • The site's footer said 'Vantage Financial Services AG' was in the process of registration and regulation in Switzerland, working towards a FINMA asset management licence. No company of that name appears anywhere in the Swiss commercial register, and FINMA's register of authorised institutions returns no such firm.
  • vfsmarkets.com no longer resolves. The last working pages date from September 2025 and the client portal login from August 2025, so anyone who still held a balance has no route to it through the site.
  • Accounts were sold in seven languages behind a Swiss phone number, with card deposits up to 5,000 dollars and no card withdrawals, alongside Perfect Money, WebMoney and uncapped crypto.
  • No regulator has published a warning naming vfsmarkets.com, and we found no client complaint on any platform. The warnings and withdrawal complaints that surface under the similar name 'Vantage' belong to other operations at different websites.

Risk scorecard

Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

9/10 · Critical

No financial licence in any jurisdiction while taking deposits, with a Saint Vincent company registration presented as regulation and a FINMA application behind an entity absent from the Swiss register. Not a 10 because no licence number was borrowed from another firm and no regulator has warned about the site.

Identity & transparency

7/10 · High

The legal entity was real and consistently disclosed, which we credit, but the published address moved from a registered agent suite to Zug with no street address, no officers or owners were ever named, and the one registered entity is now cancelled.

Withdrawals & conduct

4/10 · Moderate

No complaint of either kind was found on any platform, so there is no reported pattern of refused withdrawals. The score reflects that card withdrawals were listed as unavailable while card deposits were accepted, and that the portal is now switched off, not any complaint we can point to.

Reputation

6/10 · High

No reviews of any kind on any platform, not even a Trustpilot profile, for a firm advertising 3,000 trained traders and 500 seminars. One third party broker directory scores it near the bottom of its scale. The absence of any footprint is itself a signal, not reassurance.

Website claims

9/10 · Critical

Stated it was registered with the appropriate regulatory body when the named regulator says it regulates no such company, advertised a Swiss entity that does not exist, claimed full compliance with international regulation, 18 years in business and status as the number one retail broker.

Operational history

6/10 · High

Both legs of the track record are verified and consistent at February 2021, giving about four and a half years of operation, but the operation has ceased, the registration is cancelled and the advertised history far exceeds what the records support.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Brand: VFSMarkets
  • Legal entity: Vantage International Group LLC, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, LLC number 830, incorporated 1 February 2021, registered agent Wilfred Services Ltd. The register today shows the status as Cancelled.
  • Registered: Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Center, Kingstown, Beachmont, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. From 2022 the website gave only 'Zug 6300, Switzerland' with no street address.
  • Website: vfsmarkets.com, which no longer resolves. The client portal at panel.vfsmarkets.com is also unreachable.
  • Only licence: none. A Saint Vincent LLC registration is a company registration, not financial regulation.
  • Offers: MetaTrader 5 trading in FX, metals, energies, shares, indices and cryptocurrencies, advertised as 500 plus instruments, with introducing broker, referral and MT5 white label programmes.
  • Not accepted: no list of restricted countries was published. The site solicited in English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Persian and Arabic.
  • Age claim: the About page advertised 18 Years Team In Business. The company and the domain both date from February 2021.
The Swiss Central Business Name Index returns no company named Vantage Financial, confirming that Vantage Financial Services AG was never registered in Switzerland.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

Four findings carry this verdict, and each rests on a register or registry record.

  • The regulation claim contradicts the regulator. Every page footer said the company 'is registered with the appropriate regulatory body, namely, the Financial Services Authority' of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines under the Limited Liability Companies Act, as LLC Number 830 LLC 2021. The Saint Vincent FSA's own published notices state that it does not issue licences for forex trading or brokerage, that it does not regulate or license LLCs engaged in forex, and that such a company must obtain authorisation from the jurisdictions where its clients are. So the one thing the broker offered as proof of regulation is, by the regulator's own account, not regulation at all.
  • The Swiss entity does not exist. From 2022 the footer named 'Vantage Financial Services AG' as an entity under VFSMarkets in the process of registration and regulation in Switzerland, working towards a FINMA asset management licence. The Swiss Central Business Name Index lists 35 companies whose names contain 'Vantage', active and struck off, and none of them is that company. FINMA's register of authorised institutions returns no match either. The claim ran for more than three years and never produced a Swiss company, let alone a licence, while the site presented a Zug address and a Swiss telephone number as its contact details.
  • The only company behind the operation is cancelled. The Saint Vincent FSA entity register shows Vantage International Group LLC, number 830, as Cancelled. The register publishes status but not the date a registration was cancelled, so we cannot say whether that happened before or after the site stopped working. Either way, there is now no live corporate entity behind the brand.
  • Solicitation far outside anything the paperwork covered. The site ran full English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Persian and Arabic versions, published a Swiss number, and took card, PayPal, Skrill, Perfect Money, WebMoney and crypto deposits. A Saint Vincent company registration authorises none of that in any of those markets.

Two further points shape the score rather than drive it. The About page advertised 18 Years Team In Business next to 3,000 trained traders, 500 seminars held and 350 cases completed, for an operation that began in February 2021 and left no trace on any review platform. And the deposit table allowed card deposits of up to 5,000 dollars while listing the maximum card withdrawal as not available, pushing clients towards rails that cannot be reversed.

What is absent matters too. No regulator has published a warning naming this website, and we found no client anywhere saying money was taken and not returned. We are not alleging a theft we did not find. On the evidence we hold, which is misrepresentation of regulatory status by a deposit taking website that has since gone dark, we assess the risk of fraud as high.

Evidence ledger

Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.

13 against5 in favour
  • E1The Saint Vincent FSA entity register lists Vantage International Group LLC with registration number 830, entity type LLC-Limited Liability Company, status Cancelled, incorporated 1 February 2021, registered agent Wilfred Services Ltd.

  • E2The Saint Vincent FSA states in its own public notice that the Authority does not issue licences for forex trading or brokerage in the jurisdiction, does not regulate or license Business Companies or LLCs engaged in forex, and that such companies must obtain authorisation from the jurisdictions where their clients are located.

  • E3The Swiss Central Business Name Index returns no company named Vantage Financial Services. A full list of the 35 Swiss register entities whose names contain Vantage, active and struck off, contains no such company, so the Swiss entity named in the broker's regulatory wording was never registered in Switzerland.

  • E4FINMA's register of authorised institutions returns no result for Vantage Financial Services, so no Swiss asset management or other FINMA authorisation was ever held by the entity the broker named.

  • E5The broker's own site footer from 2022 onwards stated that Vantage Financial Services AG was an entity under VFSMarkets in the progress of registration and regulation in Switzerland and that it was working on obtaining an asset management licence from FINMA, alongside the Saint Vincent registration wording.

  • E6The deposit and withdrawal page, the last working version of it, offered bank transfer, Visa and Mastercard with a 5,000 dollar deposit cap and card withdrawals listed as not available, PayPal, Skrill, Perfect Money, WebMoney and uncapped Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and USDT, plus a 10 euro monthly inactivity fee.

  • E7The site ran full versions in English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Persian and Arabic and published a Swiss telephone number, soliciting residents of markets where a Saint Vincent company registration confers no authorisation to take deposits.

  • E8The About page advertised 18 Years Team In Business together with 3,000 trained traders, 500 seminars held and 350 cases completed, and stated the firm acts in full compliance with international legislation and regulation standards, for a company incorporated in February 2021.

  • E9vfsmarkets.com no longer resolves. The domain has no address record and only a start of authority record pointing at the registrar's default nameservers, while www and panel remain aliases to CloudFront distributions that no longer exist, so neither the website nor the client portal can be reached.

  • E10Archived captures show working pages as late as 15 September 2025, including the deposit and withdrawal page and the introducing broker page, and a working client portal login on 8 August 2025, with nothing after that. The domain record was last changed on 8 December 2025, when the nameservers moved to the registrar's defaults.

  • E11The domain was registered on 26 February 2021 through Spaceship, expires on 26 February 2027 and was last changed on 8 December 2025, which matches the company incorporation date of 1 February 2021 and the copyright year on the earliest live version of the site.

  • E12The earliest live version of the site gave the registered address as Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Center, Kingstown, Beachmont, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a registered agent address used by many offshore companies. From 2022 the footer listed only Zug 6300, Switzerland, with no street address.

  • E13The legal documents page published the client agreement, AML policy, risk disclosure, bonus agreement and promotion terms, but no link to any regulator's register, so the broker offered visitors no way to verify either the Saint Vincent registration or the Swiss claim.

  • E14The IOSCO global investor alert network, which aggregates warnings from more than 150 regulators, returns no warning matching vfsmarkets.com.

  • E15The two alert entries that match the similar corporate name belong to other operations. One names the website vantagemarkets.com and the other names DT Securities at dtsecurities.net, both published by the Spanish CNMV, and neither names vfsmarkets.com or the Saint Vincent LLC numbered 830.

  • E16The FINMA warning list of unauthorised providers returns no entry for vfsmarkets or for any Vantage entity, so Switzerland has published no warning about this operation despite the Swiss address and telephone number it used.

  • E17The Saint Vincent FSA investor alerts name Unity Capitol Bank, Nova-Dox LLC, Marella LLC trading as Changelly and HorizonCFDs, and do not name VFSMarkets, Vantage International Group LLC or Vantage Financial Services AG.

  • E18Trustpilot holds no business profile for vfsmarkets.com at all, so no client has ever reviewed the domain there. Searches of Reddit, ForexPeaceArmy and MQL5 return no discussion of the broker and no MetaTrader server in its name, despite the site advertising MT5 and a white label programme.

  • E19Captures of the domain from 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 show only a bare server directory listing with no broker content, so no earlier brand traded here and the operation inherits no previous history.

  • E20The entity name Vantage International Group LLC and the registration number 830 LLC 2021 appear consistently across the homepage, the About page, the localised Turkish pages and the public social profiles, and they match the Saint Vincent register, so the operator did disclose a traceable legal entity rather than hiding behind the brand.

The IOSCO global investor alert network, covering more than 150 regulators, holds no warning matching vfsmarkets.com.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

The case against this broker is not airtight, and these points count in its favour.

  • The company was real and consistently disclosed. The same entity name and registration number appear on the homepage, the About page, the localised pages and the social profiles, and they match the Saint Vincent register exactly. Many scams never name a traceable entity at all.
  • No regulator anywhere has warned about this website. The global IOSCO alert network, the FINMA warning list, the Saint Vincent FSA's investor alerts and the FCA's warnings all return nothing for vfsmarkets.com or this entity.
  • We found no client complaint of any kind. No refused withdrawal, no frozen account, no demand for a payment to release funds. There is no complaint pattern here and we do not claim one.
  • The domain carried no earlier broker brand. Captures from 2016 to 2019 show only a bare server directory listing, so there is no inherited history from a previous operation.
  • 'Years Team In Business' can fairly be read as the collective experience of the people involved rather than the age of the company, which is a different and defensible claim.
  • The Swiss wording was hedged. The site said an application was in progress, not that a licence had been granted, and a genuine application can take a long time.
  • Offshore registration on its own is not fraud. Hundreds of real brokers operate from Saint Vincent, and a weak home jurisdiction is a risk tier rather than a verdict.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

Concrete things that would change our conclusion.

  • A Saint Vincent register entry showing Vantage International Group LLC active again, or evidence that the cancellation followed an orderly wind down in which client balances were returned.
  • An entry for Vantage Financial Services AG in the Swiss commercial register, or a FINMA authorisation in its name. Either would turn the Swiss claim from an unsupported statement into a verifiable one.
  • Documented confirmation that clients were paid out before the website closed, for instance payout records or a public closure notice naming a settlement process.
  • In the other direction, a regulator warning naming vfsmarkets.com, or credible first hand reports of refused withdrawals with amounts and dates, would take this from a likely scam to a confirmed one.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

13 questions
Is VFSMarkets a scam?

On the evidence we hold, probably yes. It held no financial licence in any jurisdiction, it presented a Saint Vincent company registration as regulation when the Saint Vincent FSA says it does not regulate forex companies, and it advertised a Swiss licence application through a company that does not appear in the Swiss commercial register. Its website and client portal have been offline since late 2025.

Is VFSMarkets a fraud?

No regulator or court has made a finding of fraud against VFSMarkets, and we found no client reporting that money was taken and not returned, so we do not state that as fact. What we can show is that the firm misrepresented its regulatory status for years while taking deposits, and has now vanished. We assess the risk of fraud as high.

Was VFSMarkets regulated?

No. The only paperwork it held was a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines limited liability company registration, number 830. The Saint Vincent FSA states in its own notices that it does not issue forex licences and does not regulate LLCs engaged in forex trading or brokerage. A company registration proves a company exists, nothing more.

Did VFSMarkets have a Swiss or FINMA licence?

No. The site said Vantage Financial Services AG was in the process of registration and regulation in Switzerland and was working on a FINMA asset management licence. No company of that name appears in the Swiss commercial register, which lists every registered Swiss company, and FINMA's register of authorised institutions has no entry for it. The claim ran for over three years without producing either a company or a licence.

Can I still withdraw my money from VFSMarkets?

Not through the website. vfsmarkets.com no longer resolves and the client portal at panel.vfsmarkets.com is unreachable. The last working pages date from September 2025 and the portal login from August 2025. If you hold a balance, your realistic routes are your card issuer or bank, and a report to your national regulator.

Was my money safe with VFSMarkets?

There was no protection at any point. With no financial licence anywhere, there was no requirement to keep client funds segregated, no external dispute resolution and no compensation scheme. A Saint Vincent LLC registration carries none of those obligations.

Who owned VFSMarkets?

The brand belonged to Vantage International Group LLC, a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines company registered on 1 February 2021 with registration number 830 through the registered agent Wilfred Services Ltd. No directors, shareholders or managers were named anywhere on the website, and no beneficial owner is published in the Saint Vincent register.

Is VFSMarkets the same company as Vantage Markets?

No, and this matters. Vantage Markets trades at vantagemarkets.com and its group company is Vantage International Group Limited. VFSMarkets traded at vfsmarkets.com through Vantage International Group LLC, a separate Saint Vincent company. The names are close enough to cause confusion, but the regulatory warnings and withdrawal complaints that come up under the name Vantage belong to those other operations, not to this one.

How old was VFSMarkets?

About four and a half years of actual operation. The company was incorporated on 1 February 2021 and the domain was registered on 26 February 2021, and the site stopped serving pages in late 2025. The About page advertised 18 Years Team In Business, which the company's own records cannot support.

Is VFSMarkets a clone of another broker?

No. It did not quote another firm's licence number or trade on another firm's credentials. It registered its own company and used its own registration number, which the Saint Vincent register confirms. The concern here is misrepresentation of what that registration meant, not impersonation.

Has any regulator warned about VFSMarkets?

Not as far as we can establish. The IOSCO alert network, which aggregates warnings from more than 150 regulators, returns no match for this website. The FINMA warning list, the Saint Vincent FSA investor alerts and the FCA warnings do not name it either. An absence of warnings does not prove safety, since lists lag new cases by months and this operation has already closed.

What should I do if I lost money with VFSMarkets?

Collect your statements, deposit receipts, transaction references and all correspondence straight away. Contact your card issuer or bank about a chargeback or payment recall and tell them the platform has ceased operating. Report the loss to the regulator where you live and to the Saint Vincent FSA. Do not pay anyone who offers to recover the money for an upfront fee.

What should I check before depositing with any broker like this?

Search the regulator's own register for the exact licence number and confirm the entity name and the website match. Check that the licence actually permits dealing, not just advice or company registration. Then check whether the regulator licenses forex at all. A Saint Vincent, Marshall Islands or similar company registration presented as a licence is the single most common tell.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

What to do, in order.

  • Do not send money. There is nothing to send it to. The website and the client portal are both offline.
  • If you hold a balance, gather your evidence now. Account statements, deposit receipts, card or bank references, transaction ids, wallet addresses and every message from the firm. Archived copies of the website still exist and are worth saving.
  • Go to your payment provider. If you paid by card or bank transfer, ask about a chargeback or a payment recall and tell them the platform has ceased operating. Card and bank routes are the only ones with any reversal mechanism.
  • Report it. File with the financial regulator where you live, and with the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines FSA, which maintains the register the company was listed on.
  • Refuse any recovery offer that asks for money up front. People who have lost funds to a closed platform are routinely approached by a second scam promising to get them back for a fee.
  • Ignore any new website using this name. Treat any site trading as VFSMarkets or Vantage International Group LLC as unverified until it can show a licence on a regulator's own register.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
