Withdrawal and profit-cancellation trap at an offshore-registered broker

Vittaverse is a real, working brokerage rather than an empty shell, but we rate it high risk and we would not deposit money with it. The Bank of Russia has listed the website vittaverse.com for signs of operating as an illegal securities market participant, and the only licence still in force is a Comoros registration that gives a client almost no protection.

  • A regulator has named this exact website. The Bank of Russia's list of entities with signs of illegal financial activity carries an entry for Vittaverse, website vittaverse.com, recorded on 1 December 2023.
  • The site advertises Multi Licensed, but names no licence. Its regulation page shows only a St. Vincent and the Grenadines company registration, and the SVG authority states plainly that it issues no forex licences and does not supervise companies doing this business.
  • The Seychelles licence it used to advertise is gone. Until early 2026 the site said it was regulated under Seychelles licence SD200. That licence is recorded to a different named company, Opal Markets Ltd, and has been surrendered.
  • Its dispute-resolution cover ended. Financial Commission membership ran from 18 January 2024 and is now recorded as Withdrawn, so clients can no longer claim from that compensation fund.
  • Clients report profits cancelled and withdrawals blocked. Dated complaints run through May to August 2026 with amounts of 2,272 dollars, 4,000 dollars and one report of 154,000 dollars, describing profits voided without evidence and accounts locked after a withdrawal request.

Risk scorecard

Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

7/10 · High

One genuine but bottom-tier Comoros registration active on the issuer's own list, an SVG company number presented as regulation, a surrendered Seychelles licence recorded to another company name, and a Bank of Russia warning naming this exact domain. Capped below the top of the scale only because a real licence is in force.

Identity & transparency

7/10 · High

Entity, number and registered address are disclosed, but the operator group name changed from Opal Markets Group to VTVX Group within eight months, the advertised licence stood in a different company name, and no owner or director is named anywhere.

Withdrawals & conduct

8/10 · Critical

Fund-integrity complaints pass all four pattern tests: the same mechanism of cancelled profits and blocked withdrawals, clustered May to August 2026, across more than one platform, with amounts and dates. Mitigated slightly because the company replies and some clients are paid, but the positive base is contaminated by removed fake reviews.

Reputation

8/10 · Critical

A central bank warning against the domain, dispute-resolution membership withdrawn, a suppressed review rating after a guideline breach, and unresolved multi-platform complaints. Offset only by a genuine minority of positive payout reports.

Website claims

8/10 · Critical

The homepage promises Multi Licensed and that global regulation protects your funds, while the regulation page names no regulator and no licence number. It previously asserted a Seychelles licence in its own name that the register records to another company and that has been surrendered.

Operational history

5/10 · Moderate

About four years of verifiable presence from the July 2022 domain registration, which is a reasonable record, but the operating company could not be dated in a closed registry so the figure is an upper bound, and the licensing and operator structure has changed twice within a year.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Brand: VITTAVERSE
  • Legal entity: Vittaverse Ltd, registration 26879 BC 2022, presented as part of VTVX Group. Until January 2026 the same site named its operator as Opal Markets Group of companies.
  • Registered: Euro House, Richmond Hill Road, Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines
  • Website: vittaverse.com, with a client portal at my.vittaverse.com and a web terminal, prop-trading and academy presence on further subdomains
  • Only licence in force: Comoros brokerage registration BFX2024072, issued to Vittaverse Ltd by the Mwali International Services Authority and shown as Active on that authority's own list. This is a bottom-tier offshore registration with no compensation scheme.
  • Offers: forex, metals, indices, stocks, energies and cryptocurrency CFDs on MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, plus prop-trading challenges and copy trading, with leverage advertised up to 1:2000
  • Not accepted: residents of the United States and North Korea
  • Age claim: the company pages date the founder's idea to 2018 and cite a management team with over 15 years of experience. The domain was registered on 27 July 2022 and the company number itself carries the year 2022, so the operation is about four years old.
The Vittaverse regulation page, headed Trusted and Regulated, showing only a St. Vincent and the Grenadines company registration with no regulator, no licence number and no verification link.
The Vittaverse homepage advertising Multi Licensed and stating that global regulation protects your funds, while no licence is named anywhere on the site.

Proof found

Proof of regulation on an official register: Yes

We confirmed this broker on a genuine regulator’s register.

Licences the broker publishes

Financial Services Authority Seychelles

Surrendered. Recorded to Opal Markets Ltd rather than Vittaverse Ltd, and neither name appears on the current registerTier 3
A genuine Seychelles securities dealer licence, which is a mid to low tier offshore authorisation. The broker advertised this licence in its own name until early 2026, but the register records SD200 to Opal Markets Ltd, a differently named company, and the licence has been surrendered.
Protection: None now. The licence is no longer in force, so nothing about the Seychelles regime applies to client funds held today.Official register

St. Vincent and the Grenadines company registration

VerifiedNot a forex licenceLimited relevance
A business company number, not a financial licence. The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority has stated publicly that it issues no forex or brokerage licences and does not regulate, monitor or supervise companies carrying on that business. This is the only credential the broker's regulation page displays.
Protection: None. A company registration confirms the company exists and nothing more. No regulator supervises the trading business or the client money behind it.

The Financial Commission (FINACOM)

Withdrawn. Cover ended on 24 April 2026 and the claim has been removed from the site, though a Financial Commission label persists in the homepage graphicsNot a forex licence
An industry-funded external dispute resolution body, not a regulator. Membership is voluntary and offered cover of up to 20,000 euros per accepted complaint. It never licensed or supervised this broker.
Protection: None now. Membership ran from 18 January 2024 and is recorded as withdrawn, so no new complaints are accepted and clients cannot claim from the compensation fund.Official register

Mwali International Services Authority (MISA), Comoros

Found by us — not listed by the broker

VerifiedTier 4Limited relevance
An offshore brokerage registration from the autonomous island of Mwali in the Comoros. It is issued by a registrar rather than a functioning supervisor, and the Comoros central bank has publicly distanced itself from licences of this kind. It carries no compensation scheme, no capital supervision a client can rely on and no dispute service.
Protection: Effectively none. No compensation fund, no meaningful supervision of client money, and no practical route of appeal if funds are withheld.Official register

The Seychelles capital markets register, where licence SD200 would appear. Neither Vittaverse Ltd nor Opal Markets Ltd is listed, the licence having been surrendered.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

Five findings drive this, and the first is the heaviest because it comes from a central bank rather than from us.

  • A named regulator warning against this exact domain. The Bank of Russia publishes a list of entities showing signs of illegal financial market activity. The entry for Vittaverse records the website as vittaverse.com and the finding as signs of an illegal professional securities market participant, dated 1 December 2023 and still carried on the list. This is the strongest single piece of evidence available in a check like this, because it identifies the website itself and not merely a similar brand name.
  • The regulation the site advertises does not exist. The homepage promises Multi Licensed and states that global regulation protects your funds. The regulation page it links to names no regulator and no licence number at all. It shows one card reading SVG, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. That is a company registration. The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority has stated publicly that it does not license forex or brokerage business and does not regulate, monitor or supervise companies engaged in it. A company number from that jurisdiction is not regulation, and presenting it under a heading of Trusted and Regulated is misleading.
  • A licence claim that was dropped rather than corrected. In January 2026 this same regulation page stated that Vittaverse Ltd is regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority under Licence No. SD200, and that the licence ensured strict international standards. SD200 is recorded to Opal Markets Ltd, a different named company, and it has since been surrendered. Neither Vittaverse nor Opal Markets appears on the Seychelles capital markets register today. The claim has been removed from the site, which is the right outcome, but for a period clients were told the broker held a Seychelles licence in its own name when the register said otherwise.
  • The safety net was removed. Vittaverse joined the Financial Commission on 18 January 2024. Its membership is now recorded as Withdrawn, and the Commission has confirmed clients are no longer eligible for reimbursement from its compensation fund. The broker's own hero graphic still carries a Financial Commission label in its underlying image, although the claim itself has been taken off the regulation page.
  • A consistent, recent and specific pattern of clients not getting their money. The complaints are not about spreads or slow support. They describe profits cancelled without evidence, withdrawals declined or held for weeks, and accounts locked after a withdrawal was requested, with balances reduced by entries labelled as corrections. They are dated and costed: 2,272 dollars of profit cancelled on 30 June 2026, an account locked with 4,000 dollars pending on 27 August 2026, further profit cancellations on 8 August 2026 attributed to alleged latency exploitation, a withdrawal declined on 25 May 2026, one case resolved only through a card chargeback on 26 August 2026, and a report of a blocked account holding 154,000 dollars. They appear across more than one platform, they describe the same failure, they cluster in one recent window and they carry checkable detail, so the pattern meets all four tests we apply before treating complaints as serious.

On the review platform itself the rating has been suppressed for a breach of platform guidelines and fake reviews have been removed. The distribution is split 46 percent one-star against 45 percent five-star with nothing in the middle, which is the shape left behind when positive reviews are planted rather than earned.

Two limits on the above, stated plainly. The company registry in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is not publicly searchable, so the four-year figure rests on the domain record and the year embedded in the company number, and should be read as an upper bound. And a third-party report describes an expulsion from the Financial Commission for non-compliance in April 2026. The Commission's own published record shows only two announcements, an approval in January 2024 and a voluntary withdrawal on 24 April 2026 stating the broker had met its obligations up to that date. We have not adopted the expulsion claim.

  • E1The Bank of Russia's list of entities with detected signs of illegal activity in the financial market carries an entry for Vittaverse. This names the exact domain under investigation.

The only credential shown is a card reading SVG, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, which is a company registration. No external verification link is offered for any licence.

    StrongVittaverse regulation page
  • E3The homepage states Multi Licensed with the line that global regulation protects your funds, and describes trusted regulation, while no licence is identified anywhere on the site. StrongVittaverse homepage and footer
  • E4An archived copy of the same regulation page from 24 January 2026 stated that Vittaverse Ltd is regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority under Licence No. SD200, and that the licence ensured strict international standards. The footer then named the operator as Opal Markets Group of companies and claimed Financial Commission membership. Both regulatory claims have since been removed from the live site.

StrongArchived Vittaverse regulation page, 24 January 2026
  • E5The Seychelles capital markets register lists neither Vittaverse Ltd nor Opal Markets Ltd among its securities dealers. Licence SD200 stands recorded to Opal Markets Ltd rather than to Vittaverse Ltd, and the authority has published notice of its surrender, so the licence advertised until early 2026 is no longer in force for anyone.

  • E6Client reports describe one repeated mechanism: trading profits cancelled without evidence, withdrawals declined or held for weeks, and accounts locked after a withdrawal request. Dated and costed instances include 2,272 dollars of profit cancelled on 30 June 2026, an account locked with 4,000 dollars pending on 27 August 2026, profits voided on 8 August 2026 over alleged latency exploitation, a withdrawal declined on 25 May 2026, a case resolved only by card chargeback on 26 August 2026, and a report of a blocked account holding 154,000 dollars.

    StrongClient reviews for vittaverse.com
  • E7The review platform has suppressed this company's rating for a breach of its guidelines and has removed fake reviews. Of 75 reviews, 46 percent are one-star and 45 percent are five-star with no three-star reviews at all, the hollow-middle distribution that indicates planted positive reviews sitting alongside genuine complaints.

  • E9The Financial Commission notice of 24 April 2026 confirms membership ceased, that it can no longer process new complaints about Vittaverse, and that clients are not eligible for reimbursement from the compensation fund. ModerateFinancial Commission announcement, 24 April 2026
  • E10The Mwali International Services Authority list of authorised brokerage companies shows Vittaverse Ltd holding licence BFX2024072 with status Active. • E11The domain vittaverse.com was registered on 27 July 2022 through Squarespace Domains II LLC, on Amazon nameservers, with expiry in July 2027. This gives roughly four years of continuous presence and is consistent with the 2022 year embedded in the company registration number, so there is no sign of a recycled or drop-caught domain.

    ModerateVerisign RDAP record for vittaverse.com
  • E12Certificate records show more than twenty active subdomains including a client portal, a web terminal, prop trading, an academy, a blog, market data and trading APIs, with certificates from July 2024 onward. This is the infrastructure of a working brokerage rather than a single marketing page.

    ModerateCertificate transparency records for vittaverse.com
  • E13About a third of the reviews are positive and report deposits and withdrawals completing normally, tight spreads, fast execution and working MetaTrader 5 and cTrader platforms. The company also replies to negative reviews, requests account details and offers escalation to a compliance team. Many clients are evidently paid.

    ModerateClient reviews for vittaverse.com
  • E14The company pages date the founder's idea to 2018 and cite a management team with over 15 years of market experience, but name no legal entity, no registration number, no regulator, no office address and no individual. For a business inviting deposits this is thin disclosure, though the founding narrative concerns the founder rather than asserting a 2018 trading history.

    WeakVittaverse company page
  • E15The published legal documents include a client services agreement, a bonus and promotions policy, a complaints handling policy and a risk disclosure statement, but the documents index itself names no legal entity, registration number or regulator, so a prospective client cannot identify the contracting party from this page.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

The case for Vittaverse, made as strongly as the evidence allows.

  • This is a genuine trading business, not a fake front. The Comoros brokerage registration BFX2024072 is real and shows as Active on the issuing authority's own list of authorised brokerage companies. Behind the marketing sits actual infrastructure: MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, a client portal, a web terminal, prop-trading challenges, an academy and more than twenty working subdomains. A pure boiler room does not build this.
  • Many clients are paid. Roughly a third of the reviews on the main review platform are positive and describe deposits and withdrawals completing normally, tight spreads and fast execution. That matters: this is not a case where nobody ever gets money out.
  • It answers complaints. The company replies to negative reviews, asks for account details and escalates to a compliance team. Silence is far more common among outright scams.
  • Stale claims were taken down, not left up. When the Seychelles licence ended and the Financial Commission membership ended, the claims came off the regulation page. Plenty of worse operators leave a dead licence on display for years.
  • The Financial Commission did not find against it. Its 24 April 2026 notice records a voluntary withdrawal and says the broker had met its obligations as a member up to that date.
  • Offshore is not the same as fraudulent. Hundreds of legitimate brokers hold only offshore registrations, and the Russian listing concerns operating without Russian authorisation, which is a licensing failure rather than a finding of theft.
  • Some complaints may be contested trading disputes. Where a broker alleges latency abuse it is voiding trades under its own terms. That can be a genuine commercial dispute rather than theft, and competitors do plant hostile reviews.

What this does not fix: the marketing still promises multiple licences and fund protection that no regulator anywhere is providing, and a client whose profit is cancelled now has no external body to appeal to.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

Concrete things that would move this verdict, in either direction.

  • Removal from the Bank of Russia list, or a public correction showing the entry does not concern this operator, would remove the heaviest finding and push the assessment down materially.
  • A real licence from a meaningful regulator shown on a public register in the name of the entity that actually holds client money, with the site's claims matched to it, would change the regulation picture entirely.
  • Dropping the Multi Licensed claim, or replacing it with an accurate statement that the business runs on a Comoros registration and an SVG company number with no compensation scheme, would settle the misrepresentation point.
  • Rejoining a dispute-resolution body, or publishing an independent audit of segregated client funds, would restore a route of appeal for clients.
  • A documented run of resolved withdrawal cases, with the profit-cancellation complaints from May to August 2026 shown to have been paid, would break the pattern that drives the score.
  • Evidence pushing the other way: a warning from a second regulator naming this domain, an enforcement action, or continued profit cancellations into late 2026 would take this to the top of the range.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

15 questions
Is Vittaverse a scam?

We rate Vittaverse high risk and we would not deposit with it, though it is a real trading business rather than an empty shell. The Bank of Russia lists the website vittaverse.com for signs of acting as an illegal securities market participant, the site advertises multiple licences while naming none, and clients report cancelled profits and blocked withdrawals through mid 2026. Some clients are paid normally, which is why this is a risk assessment rather than a finding of outright theft.

Is Vittaverse a fraud?

No court or regulator has found Vittaverse guilty of fraud, and we make no such finding. What exists on the record is a Bank of Russia warning naming this website for signs of unlicensed securities activity, and a body of client reports describing profits cancelled without evidence and withdrawals refused. On that basis we assess the risk of fraud as high, but we state it as our assessment and not as an established crime.

Is Vittaverse regulated?

Not in any way that protects you. The only licence in force is a Comoros brokerage registration, BFX2024072, issued by the Mwali International Services Authority to Vittaverse Ltd. That is a bottom-tier offshore registration with no compensation scheme, and the Comoros central bank has publicly distanced itself from licences of this kind. The St. Vincent and the Grenadines number the site displays is a company registration, not a licence.

What happened to the Seychelles licence SD200 that Vittaverse advertised?

Until early 2026 the regulation page stated that Vittaverse Ltd was regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority under Licence No. SD200. That licence is recorded to Opal Markets Ltd, a differently named company, and it has been surrendered. Neither name appears on the Seychelles capital markets register today, and the claim has been taken off the Vittaverse site.

Can I withdraw my money from Vittaverse?

Many clients report normal withdrawals, but a significant number do not. Dated complaints from May to August 2026 describe withdrawals declined or held for weeks, accounts locked after a withdrawal request, and profits cancelled so that only the original deposit remained. If you hold a balance, request it now and in stages, and keep dated screenshots of everything.

Is my money safe with Vittaverse?

The site says client deposits are held in segregated accounts and remain available for withdrawal at any time, but that statement rests on the company's own internal procedures rather than on any regulator's supervision or audit that we could verify. There is no compensation scheme behind a Comoros registration, and since the Financial Commission membership ended in April 2026 there is no external body to appeal to either.

Why is Vittaverse on the Bank of Russia warning list?

The Bank of Russia publishes a list of entities showing signs of illegal activity in the financial market. The entry for Vittaverse, recorded on 1 December 2023, names the website vittaverse.com and the finding as signs of an illegal professional securities market participant. In plain terms, the regulator considers the site to have been offering securities and derivatives services to Russian residents without Russian authorisation.

Who owns Vittaverse and where is it based?

The contracting company is Vittaverse Ltd, registration 26879 BC 2022, incorporated in St. Vincent and the Grenadines with a registered address at Euro House, Richmond Hill Road, Kingstown. The site currently describes its operator as VTVX Group. Until January 2026 the same site named the operator as Opal Markets Group of companies. No beneficial owner or named director is disclosed anywhere on the site.

How old is Vittaverse?

About four years. The domain vittaverse.com was registered on 27 July 2022, and the company number itself carries the year 2022. The company pages date the founder's idea to 2018 and mention a management team with over 15 years of experience, which is a statement about people rather than about the firm. Because the St. Vincent company registry is not open to public search, treat four years as an upper bound.

Is Vittaverse a clone of another broker?

No. We found no evidence that Vittaverse copies the name, branding or licence of any established firm, and the domain has carried this brand since 2022. The licence problem here is different: a licence advertised in the wrong company name and since surrendered, rather than credentials taken from an unrelated business.

What does the Financial Commission membership ending mean for me?

It removes your route of appeal. Vittaverse joined on 18 January 2024, and its status is now recorded as Withdrawn following a notice dated 24 April 2026. The Commission has confirmed it cannot process new complaints about Vittaverse and that clients are not eligible for reimbursement from its compensation fund. Any dispute is now between you and the company alone.

Are the positive reviews of Vittaverse genuine?

Some are, but treat the overall picture carefully. The main review platform has suppressed the company's rating for a breach of its guidelines and has removed fake reviews. The remaining spread is 46 percent one-star against 45 percent five-star with almost nothing in between, which is the pattern left when favourable reviews are planted alongside real complaints.

What about the awards displayed on the Vittaverse site?

The site shows Most Trusted Broker MENA and Best Emerging Broker Global from a 2025 commercial forex awards programme. Industry awards of this type are entered and voted on within the trading industry. They are marketing, not regulatory approval, and they say nothing about whether your funds are protected.

What should I check before depositing with any broker?

Find the licence number on the broker's own site, then look it up on the regulator's public register and confirm three things match: the company name on the licence, the website, and that the status is current. Check that the entity on the licence is the same one your money is paid to. Then search the regulator warning lists for the exact domain. If a site claims to be licensed but names no number, treat that as an answer in itself.

What do I do if I have lost money with Vittaverse?

Gather dated evidence first: balances, trade history, deposit receipts and the exact wording of any refusal. If you paid by card or bank transfer, open a dispute with your provider straight away, because those routes have deadlines and a chargeback is realistically the strongest option. Report the website to your national financial regulator. Do not pay anyone an upfront fee to recover funds, and never pay a charge that the broker says is needed to release your own money.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Our advice for anyone considering this broker, and for anyone already with money there.

  • Do not deposit new money. The combination of a central bank warning against this website, no meaningful licence and a current pattern of cancelled profits is not one to test with your own funds.
  • If you hold a balance, withdraw it now and do it in stages rather than in one request. Keep the account funded only to the level you can afford to lose while the withdrawal is processing.
  • Save your evidence today. Take dated screenshots of your balance, your trade history, every deposit receipt and the full text of any message cancelling a profit or refusing a withdrawal. Complaints without this detail rarely go anywhere.
  • Use your payment provider. If you funded by card, a chargeback is realistically your strongest route, and at least one client reports that this is what finally worked. Bank and card disputes have deadlines, so act quickly.
  • Never pay a fee to release your own funds. Any demand for a tax, a verification charge or an insurance payment before a withdrawal can be processed should be refused and reported.
  • Ignore recovery agents. Firms that contact you promising to retrieve your money for an upfront fee target people in exactly this position, and they are a second loss.
  • Report it to your national financial regulator, naming the website and the amount. It is what puts a domain on a warning list.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
