Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
We reached a likely-scam verdict from primary-source records, not impressions.
- A government regulator acted against it. Brazil's CVM issued Ato Declaratorio 19.103 on 23 September 2021 naming W7 Limited and Willy Heine Neto for recruiting clients online for forex trading without authorisation, ordered them to stop, and set a daily fine. A 2023 settlement of R$637,500 followed.
- It was unlicensed by design. The site never named a regulator or licence number. It operated from an offshore company address, first St Vincent and the Grenadines, then Saint Lucia. Saint Lucia's FSRA states plainly that forex is not licensed there, and the same is true in St Vincent, so there was never any supervisor standing behind client money.
- Clients could not get their money out. Complaints across independent platforms describe withdrawals refused or ignored, one unpaid $250 request still open a year later, and users pushed to deposit more or pay 'taxes' before any release. That advance-fee demand has no legitimate purpose.
- The operation has now vanished. After running from 2019 to early 2026, w7bt.com is a parked GoDaddy page and the domain record was last changed on 31 July 2026. A broker that disappears while withdrawal complaints are open fits an exit pattern.
Note on operating history: the 7.2-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1Brazil's CVM issued Ato Declaratorio 19.103 (23 Sep 2021) naming W7 Limited and Willy Heine Neto for soliciting forex clients without authorisation, ordering them to stop with daily fines.
E2Saint Lucia's FSRA states forex business is not licensed in Saint Lucia and any claim of affiliation is false and misleading, so W7's Saint Lucia base gave no supervision.
E3Archived W7BT homepage names the operator as W7 Limited at an offshore address (St Vincent in 2022, Saint Lucia in 2025) with no regulator or licence number anywhere on the site.
E4Independent trader inquiry documents a Brazilian client unable to withdraw funds from W7BT, an offshore St Vincent operation, consistent with wider withdrawal-denial reports.
Strong55brokers trader inquiryE5The live w7bt.com now returns a parked GoDaddy page, showing the operation is defunct.
ModerateLive fetch of w7bt.comE6Independent review confirms W7BT / W7 Limited is an unregulated offshore broker accepting cryptocurrency deposits with no fund segregation and opaque withdrawal terms.
ModerateitisReviewed W7BT reviewE7Domain w7bt.com was registered on 19 June 2019 and last changed 31 July 2026, giving a roughly seven-year domain history behind a single legal entity.

The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
In fairness, we tested the innocent explanations.
- Was it a real regulated group? No. We found no licence on any tier-1, tier-2 or offshore register, and the broker itself claimed none. Its own jurisdictions do not license forex.
- Is it just a weak-but-honest offshore broker? A genuine seven-year domain is a point in its favour, and some frustrated reviews are ordinary trading-loss gripes. But an offshore registration is not regulation, and the fund-access complaints plus a regulator enforcement action go beyond a service dispute.
- Is the negative coverage competitor noise? Some review-farm pages are low value, so we leaned on the CVM government record and named, dated user complaints rather than star ratings.
- Is this a name collision or a clone? No. Every source ties back to the same entity, W7 Limited, and the same domain, w7bt.com. It does not impersonate any well-known brand.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
We would revisit this verdict if the facts changed.
- A genuine, in-force licence from a real financial regulator, verifiable on that regulator's own register under W7 Limited.
- The CVM formally withdrawing or clearing its action against W7 Limited and Willy Heine Neto.
- A consistent, verifiable body of clients confirming they withdrew funds in full, with no extra-payment demands.
- Removal of the parked page and a return to a transparent, contactable operation with a disclosed, registry-confirmed company.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is W7 Broker & Trading (W7BT) a scam?
We rate it a likely scam. It operated with no financial licence, drew a government enforcement action in Brazil, generated withdrawal-denial complaints, and its website is now a parked page. Do not deposit money with it.
Is W7BT regulated?
No. It never named any regulator or licence number. It used offshore company addresses in St Vincent and the Grenadines and later Saint Lucia, and neither jurisdiction licenses forex trading.
Can I withdraw my money from W7BT?
Clients report withdrawals being refused or ignored, and being asked to pay extra money or 'taxes' before any release. With the site now offline, recovering funds is very unlikely.
Is my money safe with W7BT?
No. There is no regulator, no investor compensation scheme, and no confirmed segregation of client funds. If the operator keeps your money, there is no supervisor to force a refund.
Who owns W7 Broker & Trading?
The operating entity is named as W7 Limited. Brazil's securities regulator identified Willy Heine Neto as the responsible person. The company is not confirmed on any public company registry we could check.
How old is W7BT?
The domain w7bt.com was registered in June 2019 and ran as a broker site until around mid-2026. That is roughly seven years of domain history, but the operating company itself could not be verified on a registry.
What did the Brazilian regulator say about W7?
In September 2021 the CVM issued Ato Declaratorio 19.103, ordering W7 Limited and Willy Heine Neto to stop offering forex to Brazilian investors without authorisation, with daily fines. A 2023 settlement of R$637,500 followed.
Is a Saint Lucia or St Vincent registration the same as a licence?
No. Registering a company in an offshore jurisdiction only shows the company exists on paper. It is not a forex or investment licence and gives clients no protection.
Is W7BT a clone of another broker?
No. It does not appear to impersonate a well-known regulated brand. It is its own unlicensed offshore operation trading under the W7 Limited name.
What should I do if I was scammed by W7BT?
Stop paying any further fees. Save all records, report it to your local financial regulator, and ask your bank about a chargeback if you paid by card or transfer. Be wary of 'recovery' services that ask for upfront fees.
Why is the w7bt.com website down?
The domain now shows a parked GoDaddy page and the record was last changed in July 2026. The operation appears to have shut down, which is a common ending for unlicensed brokers with open complaints.
What should I check before depositing with any broker?
Confirm a real licence on the regulator's own public register, check that the licensed entity and website match, read independent withdrawal reviews, and avoid brokers that ask for extra payments to release your funds.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat W7 Broker & Trading as unsafe.
- Do not deposit. There is no regulator to help you recover funds from an unlicensed offshore operator whose site is now offline.
- If you already deposited, do not pay any further 'tax', 'fee' or 'unlock' payment. Those demands are part of the trap, not a route to your money.
- Document everything (amounts, dates, wallet addresses, chat logs) and report it to your local financial regulator and, for card or bank payments, request a chargeback with your bank.
- Be alert to recovery-room scams that target people who lost money to brokers like this.
