Is XFINE a scam?

High risk (unverified)MEDIUM confidence
Updated August 24, 2026
Unlicensed offshore broker with false regulatory claims

XFINE (x-fine.com) is a high-risk, unlicensed offshore broker, and we cannot recommend depositing with it. It holds no genuine forex licence, misstates its regulatory status, and is less than two years old.

  • Its website suggests oversight by Saint Lucia's Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), but the FSRA states plainly that forex is not licensed in Saint Lucia and that any such claim is false and misleading.
  • The only trading authorisation linked to it is an unconfirmed Comoros MISA entry that does not appear on MISA's own public register and would give almost no protection even if genuine.
  • The domain was created in November 2024 and the operation is under two years old, so there is very little track record to judge it by.
  • An associated UK company, XFINE LIMITED, was set up in December 2024 at a mass-registration address and has already been dissolved.
  • Deposits run through crypto and e-wallets, onboarding is via WhatsApp and Telegram, and there are scattered reports of larger balances being lost.

Risk scorecard

Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

8/10 · Critical

No mainstream licence; implies FSRA oversight the regulator disavows; only an unconfirmed, near-worthless MISA entry.

Identity & transparency

7/10 · High

Discloses an entity and address, but the money-taking structure is murky across a Saint Lucia IBC, an unconfirmed Comoros entity and a dissolved UK company.

Withdrawals & conduct

5/10 · Moderate

Scattered fund-loss reports (small withdrawals fine, larger balances lost) but no verified multi-platform pattern.

Reputation

6/10 · High

Multiple review sites flag it as high-risk/scam; Trustpilot 4.0/52 is thin and reads as promotional; young footprint.

Website claims

8/10 · Critical

Claims FSRA-operated registration and PSD2 protection; the regulator says such forex claims are false and misleading.

Operational history

6/10 · High

Operation under two years old (domain Nov 2024, company late 2024); minimal verifiable track record.

Regulation

Who really oversees this broker, and what each licence is worth to you.

No proof found

Proof of regulation on an official register: No

We could not confirm this broker on any genuine regulator’s register.

Licences the broker publishes

Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), Saint Lucia

UnverifiedNot a forex licence
A Saint Lucia company registration presented alongside the FSRA name. The FSRA does not license forex and states such affiliation claims are false and misleading; a company registration is not financial regulation.
Protection: None. No authorisation to run a retail brokerage and no client-fund protection.

EU PSD2 directive

UnverifiedNot a forex licence
An EU payment-services directive, not a broker authorisation or a fund-protection scheme. Citing it does not make the broker regulated or client money safe.
Protection: None. PSD2 does not authorise brokerage or guarantee deposits.
Found by our investigation (1) — the broker does not list these on its own site

Mwali/Moroni International Services Authority (MISA), Comoros

Found by us — not listed by the broker

UnverifiedTier 4
A low-tier offshore registration from a non-recognised registrar disavowed by the Comoros central bank. It appears on a third-party directory as active but could not be confirmed on MISA's own register.
Protection: Minimal to none, even if genuine; no meaningful client-deposit protection.
Comoros MISA official authorised-brokerage register, which does not list XFINE or licence BFX2025147 (captured August 2026)
FSRA Saint Lucia forex warning notice: forex is not licensed in Saint Lucia and FSRA-affiliation claims are false and misleading

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We rate XFINE high risk because it takes deposits while holding no real regulatory licence, and it dresses up its status in ways the named regulator rejects.

  • Regulatory misrepresentation. The site presents itself as registered under a body 'operated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA)' and protected by the EU PSD2 directive. The FSRA of Saint Lucia publicly states that forex business is not licensed in Saint Lucia and that documents indicating FSRA registration, licensing or affiliation are false and misleading. PSD2 is an EU payments law, not broker authorisation or a fund guarantee.
  • No verifiable trading licence. The only trading authorisation anywhere is a Comoros MISA entry that we could not find on MISA's own published register, which itself warns that any entity not listed there is a scam. MISA is a non-recognised offshore registrar that has been disavowed by the Comoros central bank, so even a genuine entry would offer little real protection.
  • Very short history. The domain was created in November 2024 and the company records date to late 2024, so the operation is under two years old. A clean-looking score means little for a business this new.
  • A dissolved associated company. A UK company named XFINE LIMITED was incorporated in December 2024 at a well-known mass-registration address and was dissolved in May 2026.
  • Money and contact channels. Deposits favour crypto and e-wallets, and phone, WhatsApp and Telegram numbers span several countries, a setup that makes chargebacks and accountability hard.

We found no regulator warning that names this exact domain and no fully verified pattern of withdrawal theft, so we stop short of calling it a confirmed scam. The figure we publish reflects a young, unlicensed operation we could not clear, not proof of misconduct.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

In fairness, several points cut the other way and are worth stating plainly.

  • The company does disclose a legal entity and a real street address in Saint Lucia, rather than hiding entirely behind a brand name.
  • Its Trustpilot page carries a 4.0 score across 52 reviews, and several users describe smooth trading and beginner-friendly accounts.
  • We found no entry naming x-fine.com on the FCA, IOSCO, ASIC or other major warning lists as of our check.
  • Offshore registration on its own is a risk tier, not proof of fraud, and many low-tier brokers operate without stealing funds.
  • The MISA register we could open did not list any 2025 licences at all, so the absence of its entry may reflect a register that is simply not up to date.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

Our view would move in either direction with the right evidence.

  • Worse: a warning notice from any national regulator naming x-fine.com, or several independent, detailed reports of blocked withdrawals or demands for a fee or tax to release funds.
  • Worse: confirmation that deposited funds cannot be withdrawn on demand.
  • Better: a genuine, in-force licence from a recognised regulator, verifiable on that regulator's own register under this entity and this domain.
  • Better: the FSRA or MISA confirming, on their own records, that XFINE holds a valid authorisation, which would change the regulation picture.
  • Better: a longer, clean operating history with independently verified successful withdrawals over time.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

11 questions
Is XFINE a scam?

We rate XFINE as high risk and unverified rather than a confirmed scam. It is unlicensed, misstates its regulatory status, and is under two years old. We did not find a verified pattern of fund theft, but there is little to reassure a depositor.

Is XFINE regulated?

No. It holds no licence from any mainstream regulator. Its site implies oversight by Saint Lucia's FSRA, but the FSRA says forex is not licensed in Saint Lucia and such claims are false and misleading.

What is the MISA licence XFINE is linked to?

A Comoros MISA entry (No. BFX2025147) appears on a third-party directory. We could not find it on MISA's own register, which warns that unlisted entities are fraudulent. MISA is a non-recognised offshore registrar that offers little real protection.

Can I withdraw my money from XFINE?

Some users report normal withdrawals, but others report losing larger balances. Because it is unlicensed, there is no regulator or compensation scheme to help you if withdrawals are refused. Test with a small amount before committing more.

Is my money safe with XFINE?

There is no evidence your funds are protected. There is no top-tier licence, no compensation scheme, and deposits run mainly through crypto and e-wallets, which are hard to reverse.

Who owns XFINE?

The site names XFine Ltd, said to be registered in Saint Lucia (registration 2024-00596). A same-named UK company, XFINE LIMITED, was incorporated in December 2024 and has since been dissolved. Beneficial ownership is not clearly disclosed.

How old is XFINE?

The domain x-fine.com was created in November 2024 and the company records date to late 2024, so the operation is under two years old as of 2026.

Is XFINE a clone of another broker?

We found no evidence that XFINE impersonates a specific regulated firm, so we do not classify it as a clone. Its risk comes from being unlicensed and misrepresenting its status, not from copying another brand.

Does XFINE accept US clients?

No. The site states its services are not available to residents of the United States.

What should I check before depositing with any broker?

Confirm a licence on the regulator's own register, match the exact company name and website, read the withdrawal terms, and search for independent user reports. If a broker only offers crypto or e-wallet deposits and onboards via messaging apps, treat that as a warning sign.

What do I do if I was scammed by XFINE?

Stop depositing, gather all records, and report to your local financial regulator and your bank or card provider. Do not pay any fee to 'release' or 'recover' funds, as that is a common second scam.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat XFINE as high risk and do not deposit money you cannot afford to lose.

  • Do not rely on the FSRA or PSD2 wording on the site as proof of safety; the Saint Lucia regulator says such forex claims are false and misleading.
  • If you already have funds there, attempt a small withdrawal now and keep written records of every request and response.
  • Be wary of any request to pay a tax, fee or deposit to unlock or release your balance; that is a classic advance-fee trap.
  • Prefer brokers licensed by a top-tier regulator such as the FCA, ASIC or CySEC, whose licences you can verify on the regulator's own register.
  • If you believe you have lost money, report it to your local financial regulator and your bank or card issuer, and avoid paid 'fund recovery' offers.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
