Most Popular Questions

Yes. The company's own terms of business define its websites as ozios.com, oziotrader.com and apmefx.com, and the OZIOS site identifies itself as a trademark of APME FX Trading Europe Ltd operating under the same CIF licence 335/17. Of those, ozios.com is live and oziotrader.com does not currently resolve.

The company publishes a complaints procedure for clients as part of its legal documentation, which is the first route. Because it is a CySEC regulated Cyprus Investment Firm, an unresolved complaint can then be taken to the Cyprus Financial Ombudsman, and clients may be eligible for the Investor Compensation Fund if the firm cannot meet its obligations.

By telephone on +357 25 054 734 for general enquiries or +357 25 054 739 for telephone order placement, or by email to info@apmefx.com. The office address is Lophitis Business Center, Office 404, 4th Floor, 28 October Ave 249, Limassol 3035, Cyprus. There is no live chat and no published support hours.

Contracts for difference across currency pairs, metals, equity indices, shares, commodities, exchange traded funds and cryptocurrencies, judging by the key information documents the company publishes for each of those categories. Exact instrument counts are not disclosed, and the client agreement notes the company offers only those instruments it markets on its website rather than everything its licence permits.

Yes, in principle. A swap free client account is defined as an available account type in the company's terms of business. No eligibility conditions, fee or alternative charge for it are published on the site, so the details would need to be requested.

Only clients within the European Union, and not residents of Belgium. The territoriality statement in the footer of every page states that the company does not provide services outside the EU and does not provide CFD trading to Belgian residents. No further country list is published, and the site carries no registration form whose country selector could be checked.

Yes, to the extent CySEC rules require. The client agreement commits the company to place client money in segregated accounts with credit institutions, to keep it apart from its own funds and not to use it in its own business, and confirms that it is a member of the Investor Compensation Fund. It also discloses that client money may be held outside Cyprus or the EEA and in omnibus accounts, where the protections can differ.

The company undertakes to process a withdrawal no later than the business day after it receives a properly completed and signed withdrawal form. That is its own processing time and does not include however long the receiving bank or card issuer then takes. It also reserves the right to decline a request for a specific transfer method and suggest an alternative.

Funding is by bank transfer or payment card. The company states that deposits are credited within one business day of clearing and that a withdrawal is processed no later than the business day after a signed withdrawal form is received, subject to identity checks and sufficient margin. Money is returned only to an account in your own name that it originally came from, and third party or anonymous payments are refused.

MetaTrader 5, and only MetaTrader 5. The company offers a branded Windows terminal downloadable from its MetaTrader page and directs clients to the standard MetaTrader 5 apps for iOS and Android. MetaTrader 4 is not available.

The company publishes no spread or commission schedule. Its client documentation states that contract specifications, including spread, swaps, lot size and margin, are set by the company from time to time and are shown on the trading platform. Two charges are disclosed in writing: third party payment and transfer costs are passed to the client, and a research fee of up to 200 USD may apply if a chargeback is raised against a card deposit.

No maximum leverage is published. The client agreement explains how leverage works and uses 1:100 only as an illustrative example of the ratio, which is not a statement of the limit applied to a client account. Anyone considering an account should ask for the applicable leverage in writing.

The site does not publish a minimum deposit. Neither the website nor its client agreement or terms of business states an opening figure, so the amount has to be obtained from the company directly before an account is funded. Account currencies are stated to be the euro and the US dollar.

Nothing found in this research supports that description. The company behind the brand exists, is named consistently across the site and its legal documents, holds a real onshore European licence and sits at the address the registry records for it. The main criticism is transparency rather than legitimacy: the site publishes almost none of its commercial terms.

APME FX is operated by APME FX Trading Europe Ltd, a private limited company registered in Cyprus under number HE 347219 since 22 September 2015. Its registered office is at Lophitis Business Center, Office 404, 4th Floor, 28 October Ave 249, Limassol 3035, Cyprus. The registration and that address were confirmed on the Cyprus Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, which records the company as registered.

Yes. APME FX is the trading brand of APME FX Trading Europe Ltd, which is authorised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission as a Cyprus Investment Firm under CIF licence number 335/17. The licence has been in force since 10 August 2017 and is documented on the company's own licence page. It was not reconfirmed against the regulator's own public register during this research.

Licence 335/17 was issued by Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), the financial authority for Cyprus.
APME FX holds this CySEC licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
Nobody at Wikilix has looked this entry up on the CySEC register yet, so treat it as claimed rather than confirmed. That is a gap in our coverage, not a finding against the licence.
The CySEC register prints it under APME FX TRADING EUROPE LTD, not APME FX. Licences are often held by a subsidiary rather than the trading brand, which is why searching a register for the brand alone can return nothing.
Wikilix rates CySEC tier 2: a well-established regime with real supervision, usually with lower compensation limits than a tier-1 authority.
