Broker Summary

Summary of the broker

APME FX Broker Overview

APME FX is the retail trading brand of APME FX Trading Europe Ltd, a Cyprus Investment Firm based in Limassol and incorporated in Cyprus on 22 September 2015 under company number HE 347219. The firm holds CIF licence number 335/17 from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and offers contracts for difference on a single platform, MetaTrader 5. Its services are restricted to the European Union, and the same company also operates under the OZIOS brand.

APME FX Regulation and License

APME FX Trading Europe Ltd is authorised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) as a Cyprus Investment Firm under CIF licence number 335/17, granted under the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 L.87(I)/2017. The company's own licence page sets out the permissions in detail: reception and transmission of orders, execution of orders on behalf of clients, portfolio management and investment advice, together with ancillary services including safekeeping, the granting of credit to investors and connected foreign exchange services. Dealing on own account is not among the authorised investment services, which is consistent with an agency rather than a market making model.

Is APME FX Regulated?

Yes. The CySEC authorisation is a real, onshore European licence and it is in force under the name APME FX Trading Europe Ltd. It was not, however, checked against the regulator's own public register during this research, so the licence should be treated as documented rather than independently reconfirmed. CySEC supervision brings MiFID conduct rules, segregation of client money and access to the Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund, and it covers only clients the firm may lawfully serve within the EU.

APME FX Trading Europe Ltd

The legal entity behind the brand is named consistently on every page of the site, in the client agreement and on the licence itself. Its registration was confirmed on the Cyprus Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, which records the company as a registered private company with the same Limassol registered office the website publishes. The company registration is separate from, and additional to, the CySEC authorisation described above.

Is APME FX Safe?

APME FX carries the structural protections that come with an EU licence, but a prospective client is asked to accept a great deal on trust about the trading service itself. The client agreement commits the firm to hold client money in segregated accounts, not to use it in its own business, and confirms membership of the Investor Compensation Fund. Against that, the site publishes no spreads, no commission schedule, no minimum deposit, no leverage figure and no account comparison, so the cost and terms of trading cannot be assessed before an account is opened. The company also states in its risk warning that 77.44 percent of retail investor accounts lose money trading CFDs with it.

APME FX Spreads, Commissions and Fees

No pricing is published. The client documentation states that contract specifications, including spread, swaps, lot size and margin, are set by the company from time to time and are available on the trading platform. Two specific charges are disclosed: third party payment and transfer costs are passed on to the client, and a research fee of up to 200 USD may be levied if a chargeback is raised against a card deposit.

APME FX Trading Platforms

MetaTrader 5 is the only platform offered. The company distributes a branded Windows terminal from its MetaTrader page and points clients to the standard MetaTrader 5 apps for iOS and Android. MetaTrader 4 is not offered.

APME FX Deposits and Withdrawals

Funding runs through bank transfer and payment card. Deposits are credited within one business day of clearing, and a withdrawal is processed no later than the business day after a signed withdrawal form is received, subject to identity and margin checks. Money is returned only to an account in the client's own name that it originally came from, and third party or anonymous payments are refused. Account currencies are the euro and the US dollar. No fee schedule, minimum or maximum amount is published for either direction.

APME FX Support

Support is by telephone and email only, from the Limassol office: +357 25 054 734 for general enquiries and +357 25 054 739 for telephone order placement, with enquiries to info@apmefx.com. There is no live chat, no help centre and no published support hours, and the site is available in English only.

APME FX Pros and Cons

  • Authorised as a Cyprus Investment Firm under CySEC licence 335/17, with segregated client money and Investor Compensation Fund membership.
  • A single, consistently named legal entity confirmed on the Cyprus companies registry at the same address the site publishes.
  • Almost no commercial disclosure: spreads, commissions, minimum deposit, leverage and account tiers are all absent from the site.
  • One platform only, with no MetaTrader 4 and no proprietary or web terminal.
  • Support is limited to a phone number and an email address, with no chat and no stated hours.

APME FX Review and Assessment

APME FX is a genuine, licensed European broker rather than an offshore shell, and the corporate and regulatory facts behind it line up cleanly. What it does not do is compete on transparency. A prospective client cannot learn what trading will cost, how much is needed to start or what leverage applies without contacting the firm, and the single MetaTrader 5 offering is narrow beside most EU competitors. The most important step before funding an account is to obtain the account terms and the fee schedule in writing and to confirm which entity and jurisdiction the account will sit under.

Named in the broker's own terms

BEBelgium

How we know

  1. 1Belgium is named directly in the territoriality statement carried in the footer of every page of https://www.apmefx.com/, which states that the company does not provide CFD trading for clients who are residents of Belgium.
  2. 2The same statement says the company does not provide services outside the EU. That is a category rather than a list of named jurisdictions, so no individual country codes were derived from it; the restriction is recorded here in the company's own wording instead.
  3. 3The client agreement at https://www.apmefx.com/en/documents/Client_Agreement and the terms of business at https://www.apmefx.com/en/documents/Terms_of_Business were read in full and name no restricted or prohibited jurisdiction.
  4. 4No dedicated restricted or accepted countries page is published anywhere on the site, and no help centre or FAQ exists on it.
  5. 5No registration or open live account form is published on the site, so there is no onboarding country selector to read; nothing was written to the whitelist on that basis.

Recorded by WIKILIX research, not published by the broker, and not a guarantee. A country listed nowhere above is not thereby accepted — check APME FX's own terms before you open an account.
