FSA is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Most Popular Questions

Nothing we found supports that description. The company is real, active on the corporate record since 2019, and the Seychelles licence number it quotes matches a licence issued in its own name. What we cannot do is call it well disclosed: there is no published minimum deposit, leverage, spread or fee schedule, no phone number, and the legal documents contradict each other on whether the firm deals as principal or as agent. That combination makes it a broker to approach cautiously and to test with small amounts, not one we would call fraudulent.

By email at info@mecomarkets.com or through the form at the contact page. Support is advertised as 24/5, Monday to Friday, with a dedicated client service manager, while the client agreement gives office hours of 09:00 to 18:00 GMT+2, GMT+3 in summer, with contact possible until 22:00 GMT. No telephone number is published, and the site links to no social media accounts.

Yes. An account with no login or deposit for six months is treated as inactive and the firm reserves the right to charge a minimum fee, the amount depending on the account currency. An account open five years with a zero balance and no activity may be treated as dormant. The actual fee is not published.

It may. The order execution policy states that opening a position in some CFDs may require paying a commission, a spread or financing fees, with commission charged either as a percentage of trade value or as a fixed amount per unit of volume, and a daily swap charge on positions held overnight. No rates are published for any account tier.

The firm says so. Its homepage claims segregated accounts, and the client agreement defines client funds as money held in segregated client accounts or in segregated accounts with another authorised firm which may be an affiliate. Nothing on the site names the bank or the custodian, and an offshore Seychelles licence carries no compensation scheme behind that promise.

Beyond the US reportable-person exclusion, the broker names no country. Its anti-money-laundering policy refers to a monthly high-risk and blacklisted jurisdictions policy governing enhanced due diligence, but that document is not published on the site and the registration form carries no country selector. If your jurisdiction matters, ask before applying.

No. The client agreement states plainly that the company does not accept clients who are US reportable persons, a definition that covers US citizens, dual citizens, US resident aliens for tax purposes, domestic partnerships and corporations and related trusts.

Three trading tiers are described: Standard, aimed at newcomers and intermediate traders; Premium, offering lower spreads and additional features; and VIP, with the most competitive spreads and personalised service. Separately, the site describes brokerage, custody and managed account services. No tier's minimum deposit, leverage or commission is published.

The broker publishes no processing times for either deposits or withdrawals. Its terms note that the firm may delay a request until identification documents are complete, and that banks, card acquirers and currency conversion may add charges of their own. Treat withdrawal speed as an open question to test with a small amount first.

The broker lists bank wire transfers and major credit and debit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. It states that it covers most deposit processing fees and that a withdrawal fee may be charged at a rate depending on the method used, but publishes no fee schedule and no minimum or maximum amounts. Third-party and anonymous payments are refused, so funds must move from an account in your own name.

The site markets contracts for difference on forex, stocks, indices, commodities, derivatives, fixed income and cryptocurrencies, plus direct stock ownership. No instrument counts are published, so the actual size of the offering cannot be confirmed from the broker's own material.

The client agreement defines the firm's online trading facility as the MetaQuotes MT4 and MT5 platforms, or any other platform the company may offer. The website itself has no platform page, no server names and no download links, and the link its homepage carries to a trading-platforms page does not resolve.

No maximum leverage is published anywhere on the site or in the legal documents. The trading-products pages describe leveraged CFD trading in general terms, and stocks are offered on a full-ownership, zero-leverage basis. The client agreement does state a close-out rule: positions are automatically closed when the margin level reaches 50%.

The broker does not publish one. The website describes a Standard account with "accessible minimum deposit requirements" but gives no figure, and no legal document sets one either. You would have to ask the firm directly, and we would suggest getting the answer in writing before funding an account.

The operator is MECO Markets Limited, a Seychelles company with registration number C8427207, quoted in the broker's own terms as 8427207-1. Public corporate records show the entity as active, incorporated on 6 November 2019, at Suite 3, Global Village, Jivan's Complex, Mont Fleuri, Mahe. The same records show a previous legal name, HITSPREAD LIMITED. The website does not disclose its shareholders or directors.

Yes, but offshore. The firm's client agreement states that MECO Markets Limited is a Securities Dealer licensee regulated and authorised by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under licence number SD083. A Seychelles Securities Dealer licence is a low-tier, offshore authorisation. It permits dealing in derivatives and securities, but it carries no client-money compensation scheme and offers a client outside the Seychelles very limited practical recourse compared with an onshore regulator.

Licence SD083 was issued by The Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA), the financial authority for Seychelles.
Meco Markets holds this FSA licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the FSA register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
Wikilix rates FSA tier 3. Supervision is lighter-touch and client protections vary.
Yes, FSA is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
This page links straight to the FSA register. Search it for SD083, and for the name Meco Markets rather than the trading brand.
