Broker Summary
Summary of the broker
Meco Markets is the trading brand of MECO Markets Limited, a Seychelles company operating from Suite 3, Global Village, Jivan's Complex, Mont Fleuri, Mahe. The firm's own client agreement identifies it as a Securities Dealer licensee of the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under licence number SD083, with company registration number 8427207-1. Public corporate records confirm the entity exists, is active, was incorporated on 6 November 2019 and carried the earlier name HITSPREAD LIMITED before adopting the Meco Markets name.
What they offer. The website markets contracts for difference across forex, stocks, indices, commodities, derivatives, fixed income and cryptocurrencies, plus stock dealing on a full-ownership, zero-leverage basis. Three retail tiers are described, Standard, Premium and VIP, alongside brokerage, custody and managed account services. The client agreement names MetaQuotes MT4 and MT5 as the trading platforms, and the order execution policy states the firm acts as agent and passes client orders to third-party liquidity providers rather than taking the other side itself.
Funding and support. The site lists bank wire transfers and major credit and debit cards, including Visa and Mastercard, as the funding channels. The terms say the firm covers most deposit processing fees and that a withdrawal fee may apply depending on the method, but no fee schedule, minimum or maximum is published anywhere on the site. Support is advertised as 24/5, Monday to Friday, by email at [email protected], with a named client service manager; the agreement gives office hours of 09:00 to 18:00 GMT+2 with contact possible until 22:00 GMT. A close-out rule applies at a 50% margin level, and accounts with no login or deposit for six months are treated as inactive and may attract a fee.
Honest caveats. The disclosure is thin for a firm taking retail deposits. There is no published minimum deposit, no maximum leverage, no spread table, no commission rate card, no instrument counts, no platform download page and no telephone number. The client agreement's own definitions describe the firm as acting as principal to client transactions while the execution policy says the opposite, an internal contradiction a prospective client cannot resolve from the site. Regulation is offshore: a Seychelles Securities Dealer licence sits several tiers below onshore supervision, offers no client-money compensation scheme and gives a non-Seychelles client little practical recourse. The firm does not accept clients who are US reportable persons, and its anti-money-laundering policy refers to a monthly high-risk and blacklisted jurisdictions list that it does not publish.
Who it suits. Traders comfortable with an offshore-licensed venue who intend to ask for the full commercial terms in writing before funding an account. Anyone who needs published pricing, onshore protection of client money or a compensation scheme should look elsewhere.
