Cyprus regulator CySEC has reached a settlement with CIF-licensed Robomarkets Ltd, with the RoboMarkets entity fined €100,000 over possible violations of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and Regulation (EU) No. 600/2014. The regulator framed the matter as possible breaches resolved by settlement rather than as proven misconduct.
In a separate regulatory development, FXDD has stepped back from the European Union market. Triton Capital Markets Ltd, the FXDD operator that had held a CFD broker licence in Malta since 2010, surrendered that licence as of 25 August 2026, according to the Malta MFSA website. FXDD began as one of the first MetaTrader brokers, then MT3, in 2003.
