Does Funded Futures Family pay out?
The verdict, the risk score and the figures behind them.
Real positives and real negatives coexist here.
Yes, this firm demonstrably pays, and pays fast. The problem is not whether money leaves today, it is what the documentation lets the firm do to a trader who starts winning consistently.
- A public payout ledger showed 12,043 payouts totalling 23.53M USD, with rows dated the same day we looked and a monthly series running unbroken from November 2024.
- Independent Trustpilot reviewers confirmed payouts received on 11, 13 and 26 August 2026, one of them paid roughly 30 minutes after approval.
- The business model is a clean prop model. Across the full terms there is no deposit, client-funds, segregated or counterparty language at all.
- Against that, the help centre reserves the right to redirect approved simulated payouts, and the terms let account parameters change without notice.
- The advertised 90/10 split becomes 80/20 in the Professional Stage, which traders are pushed into and cannot leave.
Risk breakdown
Six axes, each scored 1-10. Higher means more risk.
Six axes, scored 1 to 10, where a higher number means more risk. Being unregulated is normal for a prop firm and is not scored against them.
- Identity & transparency4/10
Named CEO, a real Wyoming LLC in the Terms, a corroborating business-bureau entry and a domain age matching the founding claim; offset by a registered-agent mailbox address, an unnamed team of 50+, and a footer that states California incorporation against the Wyoming entity in the Terms.
- Payout3/10
A dated per-transaction ledger of 12,043 payouts updating daily plus three independent confirmations in August 2026; the residual risk is that the confirmations rest largely on one independent platform and that KYC-stage denials do occur.
- Terms & rug-pull risk7/10
A stated right to redirect approved payouts, account parameters changeable without notice, sole-discretion breach determination and full clawback of past payouts; partly mitigated by published numeric consistency thresholds and payout tables.
- Trading conditions3/10
The simulated model is stated plainly, platforms are named and a real Rithmic live desk is documented with account tables; the deduction is the on-chain verification branding on a ledger whose rows are labelled off-chain with no wallet published.
- Reputation4/10
4.6 on Trustpilot across 3,178 reviews with the firm answering roughly 99% of negatives specifically, but a same-hour cluster of five-star reviews naming the same support agent indicates active solicitation, and two large independent sources were unreadable.
- Operational & social2/10
A Discord of 53,601 members with 2,887 online, a YouTube upload one day before review, a payout feed refreshing same-day, plus a published phone line and 24/7 support.
Payout reality
Whether the money actually arrives, and what we could evidence.
Money is leaving, in volume, and quickly. This is one of the better-evidenced payout trails in the futures prop sector, which is why the verdict is not lower.
- The firm publishes a live payout ledger showing 12,043 individual payouts to 3,293 traders totalling 23,532,754.77 USD, an average of 1,954 USD and a largest single payout above 46,000 USD. Rows were dated the day we read it, and the monthly chart runs continuously from November 2024 to September 2026.
- Independent confirmations on Trustpilot: taxfreehogg (26 August 2026, third payout, approved and paid in about 30 minutes), Aetheric Trader (13 August 2026, Velocity 25K payout processed quickly) and Onkar Athalekar (11 August 2026, first payout in 15 hours).
- Payouts run through Rise (Riseworks). The ledger is branded as verified on Arbitrum One, but individual rows are labelled as off-chain payouts, no wallet address is published, and the insights table that is supposed to link to Arbiscan was empty. The invitation to verify independently is therefore not actually actionable.
- What we could not evidence: the payout channel inside Discord is not readable without joining, and two large independent sources were unavailable, so the confirmations rest mainly on one independent platform.
- The failure mode that does appear is verification, not refusal. Several one-star reviewers describe payouts denied and accounts banned at the KYC stage, with the firm replying that the information supplied did not meet its requirements.
How the program works
The evaluation, the funded phase and what the firm keeps.
A trader buys a monthly evaluation subscription, currently discounted heavily, and trades CME futures in a simulated account.
- Four routes: Velocity (3 days to pass, 40% consistency rule, optional Daily Payout add-on that removes both), Premier+ (1 day, no consistency rule, no buffer), Prime (1 day, 40% consistency rule per cycle, buffer of drawdown plus 100 USD) and Straight to Funded (no evaluation, 25% daily consistency, 7 qualifying days).
- Sizes and price: 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K accounts; a 50K Velocity evaluation was listed at 19 USD against a 125 USD list price.
- Rules: no daily loss limit on any plan, news trading allowed, weekend holding on Velocity, drawdown is end-of-day or intraday trailing depending on plan.
- Payouts: 90/10 split, no activation fee, per-payout maxima published in tables by plan and size, a 100,000 USD lifetime cap per user, maximum five funded accounts, KYC plus a verified Rise account required.
- Progression: sustained performance moves a trader to the Professional Stage and then to a live Rithmic account, and that move is one-way.

Why this verdict
How the findings add up to this verdict.
Real positives and real negatives sit side by side here, which is the definition of mixed rather than a criticism of either half.
- For: a large, dated, continuously updated payout record; independent confirmations within the last month; a genuine live desk on Rithmic; published numeric consistency thresholds and payout tables instead of vague language; a named CEO and a real legal entity.
- Against: the Professional Stage operational policy reserves the right to redirect approved simulated payouts toward Professional Stage advancement. That is a stated right to withhold money the firm has already approved, and it sits directly against the homepage promise that an approved payout is guaranteed with no second review.
- The terms allow account parameters to change without notice and let the firm decide at its own discretion what counts as prohibited conduct.
- The split falls from the advertised 90/10 to 80/20 in the Professional Stage, and Professional Stage withdrawals are subject to an eligibility review before processing.
- Progression is one-way: a trader who breaches a Professional or Live account cannot return to the ordinary program without buying a Prestige Evaluation.
Counterpoints
The strongest case in their favour, and what would change our mind.
The case in their favour
The strongest honest case for Funded Futures Family is a good one, and it rests on evidence rather than marketing.
- Very few firms in this sector publish a per-transaction payout ledger at all. This one publishes 12,043 rows with dates and amounts, updates it daily, and invites verification. Even discounting the on-chain framing, the artefact is far more checkable than a total on a banner.
- Independent traders confirmed payouts on three separate dates in August 2026, one paid within half an hour of approval. That is consistent behaviour, not a single lucky case.
- The consistency thresholds are numeric and published per plan (40% on Prime and Velocity, 25% on Straight to Funded, none on Premier+), which removes the industry's most common denial mechanic.
- There is no daily loss limit, news trading is allowed, and there is no activation fee, all of which are trader-favourable against the norm.
- The firm answers roughly 99% of negative reviews, usually with a specific reason rather than a template.
- A real live desk on Rithmic, with published account sizes and drawdowns, is more than most simulated-only competitors offer.
What would change our mind
Specific, checkable things in either direction.
- Upward: the firm removing or narrowing the right to redirect approved simulated payouts, so that an approved payout is contractually final.
- Upward: publishing the Arbitrum payout wallet address so the ledger can actually be reconciled against the chain, and repairing the empty insights table.
- Upward: aligning the footer with the Terms on the incorporating state, and stating the 80/20 Professional Stage split on the pricing pages rather than only in the help centre.
- Upward: dated payout confirmations from Professional Stage and Live traders, which is the tier where the terms bite hardest and where we found no independent evidence at all.
- Downward: a cluster of reports of approved payouts being redirected into Professional Stage advancement rather than paid.
- Downward: the live payout ledger going stale, the monthly total falling sharply, or the Discord going quiet while the storefront keeps selling.
- Downward: a regulator naming fundedfuturesfamily.com or Funded Futures Family LLC.
Evidence ledger
Every finding behind the verdict, with its source.
- In favour
E1The Terms name the operating entity as Funded Futures Family LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, with a postal address at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY, giving a trader a named counterparty.
- Against
E2The site footer states the state of incorporation is California while the Terms name a Wyoming LLC, so the firm's own documents disagree on where it is incorporated.
- In favour
E3The domain was registered on 3 May 2024, consistent with the stated 2024 founding and with a payout series that begins in November 2024. No inflated longevity claim.
- In favour
E4A public payout ledger listing 12,043 individual payouts to 3,293 traders totalling 23,532,754.77 USD, with rows dated the day of review and an unbroken monthly series from November 2024 to September 2026.
- In favour
E5Three independent, dated Trustpilot reviewers confirming payouts received: taxfreehogg on 26 August 2026 (third payout, paid about 30 minutes after approval), Aetheric Trader on 13 August 2026 and Onkar Athalekar on 11 August 2026 (first payout in 15 hours).
- In favour
E6Across roughly 49,000 characters of Terms there is no occurrence of deposit, client funds, segregated, counterparty, margin call or principal, and all trading is stated to be simulated. The negative deposit test passes cleanly.
- Against
E7The Professional Stage operational policy reserves the right to redirect approved simulated payouts toward Professional Stage advancement, which is a stated right to withhold money the firm has already approved and contradicts the homepage guarantee.
- Against
E8The Terms allow trading rules and account parameters to be adjusted and changed from time to time without notice, and let the firm determine at its own discretion what constitutes prohibited conduct, with no defined test and no appeal.
- Against
E9The Professional Stage pays 80/20 rather than the 90/10 advertised on all plans, and its withdrawals are subject to an eligibility review before processing, against a homepage promise of no second review and no surprise denials.
- Against
E10The one-star tail contains payout-integrity reports rather than only service gripes: Hafid Anass (31 August 2026) says a payout was denied and the account banned, and Ahmed Mousa (27 August 2026) says KYC documents were rejected and the account closed after requirements were met.

Questions about Funded Futures Family
The questions traders actually ask about this firm.
Yes. We saw a public ledger of 12,043 individual payouts totalling 23.53M USD with rows dated the same day, and three independent Trustpilot reviewers confirmed payouts received on 11, 13 and 26 August 2026, one paid about 30 minutes after approval.
No. The firm states plainly that all trading is conducted in a simulated environment using simulated market data. The payouts are real cash. A minority of traders are later promoted to a genuine live account executing on Rithmic infrastructure.
Yes, two caps. Each plan and account size has a per-payout maximum, ranging from 600 USD on a Velocity 25K with the daily add-on up to 4,000 USD on a Prime 150K. There is also a 100,000 USD lifetime payout cap per user across all accounts.
The Professional Stage operational policy states the firm may redirect approved simulated payouts toward Professional Stage advancement. That is a stated right to withhold money it has already approved, and it conflicts with the homepage promise that approval means guaranteed payment.
Founder and CEO Manuel Meraz. The operating entity is Funded Futures Family LLC, described in the Terms as a Wyoming limited liability company at a Sheridan registered-agent address, with operations stated in Temecula, California. The footer's claim of California incorporation contradicts the Terms.
Approvals are described as instant because accounts are monitored continuously rather than reviewed in a queue. Once Rise verification is complete, funds are typically reported arriving within hours. The fastest independently confirmed case we read was roughly 30 minutes.
90/10 in the trader's favour on simulated funded accounts. It drops to 80/20 once a trader is moved into the Professional Stage, which is not stated on the pricing pages and only appears in the help centre.
It depends on the plan and the thresholds are published numerically, which is better than the industry norm. Prime and standard Velocity apply 40%, Straight to Funded applies 25% daily, and Premier+ has none. Note separately that the terms also impose an undefined position-sizing standard.
The denials we read were verification failures rather than trading disputes. Several reviewers describe completing a payout request and then having KYC rejected and the account closed. Complete verification early and use a single profile and device.
The terms treat a chargeback on a valid transaction as a prohibited dispute and allow the firm to demand repayment of every benefit received to date, including past funded-account payouts, and to instruct payout providers to offset amounts owed.
What we would do
What we would do with our own money.
Treat this as a firm that pays reliably at ordinary size, and read the progression rules before you scale.
- Check the live payout ledger yourself immediately before buying. A stale feed is the earliest warning you will get.
- Complete KYC and Rise verification before you request your first payout. The denials we found were verification failures, not trading disputes, and they ended in account bans.
- Use one identity, one device and one household account. Device and profile sharing has been treated as a terminable breach.
- Understand the 100,000 USD lifetime payout cap and your plan's per-payout maximum before assuming an account can scale.
- Read the Professional Stage articles before you get close to promotion. The move is one-way, your simulated accounts are frozen, and the split drops to 80/20.
- Never file a chargeback over a trading dispute. The terms let the firm claw back every payout you have ever received if it treats the dispute as prohibited.
- Withdraw regularly rather than letting a balance build inside the platform.
