Does QT Funded pay out?
The verdict, the risk score and the figures behind them.
We found something serious: a payout pattern, a severe clause, or regulator action.
QT Funded does pay some traders, and we evidenced money landing as recently as July 2026, but a dated and specific pattern of denied and indefinitely stalled payouts has built up across several independent platforms through mid to late 2026, and the terms give the firm broad room to refuse.
- Anchor established: qtfunded.com, which resolves to qtfunded.quanttekel.com. Traders contract with Quant Tekel LLC Limited in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
- Two dated payout artefacts confirmed, including an independent reviewer paid by bank transfer inside 24 hours in Q2 2026.
- Against those, at least eight dated disputes naming amounts from 172 dollars to 33,000 dollars, clustered May to September 2026.
- The company page states QT Funded is regulated by the FSCA. Its own footer says the licence belongs to a different group entity and that QT Funded services come from the offshore company.
- PropFirmMatch has moved the firm to its unlisted register.
Risk breakdown
Six axes, each scored 1-10. Higher means more risk.
Six axes, scored 1 to 10, where a higher number means more risk. Being unregulated is normal for a prop firm and is not scored against them.
- Identity & transparency7/10
Entity stack is unusually well disclosed and the UK company verifies on the registry, but the company page claims FSCA regulated status the contracting entity does not hold, headline figures contradict each other across the firm's own pages, and the AscendX Capital predecessor is not disclosed anywhere on the site.
- Payout8/10
A dated, specific payout integrity pattern across three independent platforms clustered May to September 2026, with denials issued after approval, set against two genuinely evidenced payouts including one independently tested.
- Terms & rug-pull risk8/10
Amendment effective on publication, termination at sole discretion without warning, undefined toxic trading and one sided betting as grounds to deny a performance fee, and QT Capital entry forfeiting accrued profit. Credited down from the top band because most risk thresholds are published as hard numbers.
- Trading conditions5/10
Simulated status is stated plainly and repeatedly, which is honest, but the homepage advertises no news rule and no consistency rule against terms that impose both, and no execution counterparty is named for the evaluation programmes.
- Reputation7/10
A 13,000 plus review base averaging 3.8 with a 56 percent reply rate to negatives, undercut by a one star tail that is almost entirely payout integrity, a directory delisting, reports of complainants being muted, and terms that restrict publishing account correspondence.
- Operational & social4/10
Clearly alive: nearly 54,000 Discord members with 2,677 online, fast and specifically praised support, active storefront. Marked down for a YouTube channel that promises weekly output but last uploaded around two months ago, and for moderation of payout complaints in the community.
Payout reality
Whether the money actually arrives, and what we could evidence.
Money does leave this firm, and we could evidence it. It does not leave reliably, and the failures cluster on larger balances.
- Evidenced paid: an FXEmpire reviewer withdrew from a 50,000 dollar 2-Step account by bank transfer during a Q2 2026 test and had the funds in under 24 hours. A Trustpilot reviewer, Aboneh, confirmed receiving 137.60 dollars in full on 1 July 2026 on funded account 10559607, after chasing it.
- Evidenced refused or stalled: a trader posting as DSH requested two 5,000 dollar payouts on 25 and 26 May 2026, was given a risk interview more than two months later and was told on 1 September 2026 that both were rejected for one sided betting. Eimar Fernandez has had request 18385 for 250 dollars sitting in processing since 26 August 2026 and reports being muted on Discord for asking. Timo reports two 100,000 dollar accounts unpaid past 72 days. A further trader reports 1,300 dollars refused over a data loss incident with no refund after 45 days.
- Older cases carry the same shape: a 33,000 dollar denial on a layering rule the firm then deleted for that account type, a 22,000 dollar balance lost when KYC was rejected after it had already been approved, and 703 dollars approved on 14 November 2025 and never transferred.
- The same account we saw paid, 10559607, is the subject of a separate complaint that a later 172 dollar payout was refused.
- Note the mechanic. Payouts are not refused at the point of trading. They are approved or queued, then reviewed, then reversed on a rule read after the fact. That is the classic denial route, and it is why the terms below matter so much.
This is not an unevidenced record. It is an inconsistent one.
How the program works
The evaluation, the funded phase and what the firm keeps.
A trader buys a one time, non refundable evaluation. Account sizes run from 5,000 to 200,000 dollars, priced from roughly 70 to 350 dollars before the standing 50 percent discount. Three retail routes are sold.
- QT One: single 6 percent target, 6 percent static drawdown, no minimum trading days, 70 percent split, 4 day payout cycle.
- QT Two: 8 percent then 5 percent targets, 8 percent drawdown, 80 percent split, 14 day cycle.
- QT Instant: no target, 6 percent trailing drawdown, 100 percent split, 4 day cycle, five separate trading days before a withdrawal request, and a published rule that no single day may exceed 25 percent of accumulated profit.
The terms describe a different and larger set of programmes (BNPL 1-Step, QT 2-Step, QT 2-Step Elite, QT Power, Instant), with their own targets and a 4 percent daily and 10 percent maximum drawdown on the 2-Step routes. Common rules apply to everything: a hard 2 percent floating loss cap, a ten minute no trading window around high impact news, exposure capped at 75 percent of the daily drawdown, and a limit on holding opposing positions across accounts. Passing is not the last step. A Risk Review by the firm's risk team sits between the evaluation and the funded account, and a further verification step can be required before any withdrawal is processed.

Why this verdict
How the findings add up to this verdict.
HIGH_RISK, not a payout failure and not merely mixed, because both sides of the ledger are real and the negative side is a pattern rather than a handful of unhappy customers.
- The payout complaints meet the pattern test: the same failure mode, time clustered from May to September 2026, across Trustpilot, Forex Peace Army and Reddit, with amounts, dates and request numbers a reader can check.
- The terms contain several severe clauses, including amendment effective on publication, termination at sole discretion without warning, and denial of performance fees for toxic trading and one sided betting, neither of which is defined anywhere in the document. One sided betting is the exact phrase used to reject a 10,000 dollar pair of payouts.
- The company page asserts FSCA regulation for QT Funded. The footer of the same site states the licence belongs to a separate brokerage entity and that QT Funded services are supplied by the offshore company. A firm cannot hold both positions.
- PropFirmMatch, a mainstream prop directory, has moved the firm off its main listing.
- Against that: the model is honestly disclosed as simulated, most risk thresholds are published as numbers, payouts are demonstrably still being made, the Discord is large and active, and the firm answers a majority of its negative reviews. That is what keeps this out of the 85 plus band.
Counterpoints
The strongest case in their favour, and what would change our mind.
The case in their favour
The fair case for QT Funded is stronger than the complaint tail alone suggests.
- It passes the business model test cleanly. The terms state plainly that all accounts are demo with simulated funds, that fees are subscription payments and not client money, and that no real trading occurs. There is no cashier, no live account option and no route to withdraw a principal deposit. That honesty is better than much of the sector.
- The corporate stack is unusually well disclosed for an offshore operator. The footer names the SVG contracting entity, the UK payments entity with its company number, and the separate South African brokerage, and explicitly tells the reader which one they contract with.
- Most rules are numeric and published in advance: 2 percent floating loss, 75 percent exposure cap, a ten minute news window, a 25 percent single day consistency cap on Instant, and static rather than moving drawdowns on several plans. A firm that publishes the number has given up the ability to invent it later.
- Payouts are evidenced, including one tested by an independent reviewer and settled inside a day.
- The operation is alive: nearly 54,000 Discord members with thousands online, a 13,000 plus review base averaging 3.8, and a support function that traders repeatedly and specifically praise by name.
What would change our mind
Specific and checkable, in both directions.
- Upward: the named open cases closing with payment, in particular request 18385 and the two 5,000 dollar payouts rejected on 1 September 2026 for one sided betting.
- Upward: a published, numeric definition of one sided betting and toxic trading in the terms, so a trader can comply before rather than learn after.
- Upward: removal of the clause allowing amendments to take effect on publication, and a stated maximum processing time for approved payouts.
- Upward: the company page correcting its FSCA claim to match the footer, and PropFirmMatch restoring the main listing.
- Downward: new dated denials on four figure or larger balances continuing into Q4 2026.
- Downward: the Discord payout feed going quiet, further reports of complainants being muted or banned, or the storefront continuing to discount heavily while approved payouts stay queued.
- Downward: any regulator naming Quant Tekel LLC Limited or the qtfunded.com domain.
Evidence ledger
Every finding behind the verdict, with its source.
- Against
E1The company page states that QT Funded is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority under licence 53227, while the footer of the same site states that licence belongs to Quant Tekel (Pty) Ltd, a separate brokerage entity, and that all QT Funded services are provided by the offshore SVG company. A claimed regulated status the contracting entity does not hold.

E2The terms state that all accounts are demo accounts with simulated funds, that fees are subscription payments and do not constitute client money or investment deposits, and that no real trading occurs. No cashier, no live account option and no principal withdrawal route exists on the evaluation site. The firm passes the deposit rails test.

E3A trader posting as DSH requested two payouts of 5,000 dollars on 25 and 26 May 2026, waited more than two months for a risk interview, and was told on 1 September 2026 that both were rejected for one sided betting, a term that appears nowhere in the published rules.
- Against
E4Eimar Fernandez reports payout request 18385 for 250 dollars submitted 26 August 2026 still showing as processing, and being muted on the official Discord for asking about it. Corroborates both the delay pattern and the suppression of complaints.
- In favour
E5An independent FXEmpire reviewer withdrew from a 50,000 dollar 2-Step funded account by bank transfer during a Q2 2026 test and received the funds in under 24 hours, matching the advertised processing time.
- In favour
E6A reviewer named Aboneh confirmed on 1 July 2026 receiving a full payout of 137.60 dollars on funded account 10559607, after delays and repeated follow ups. A dated, attributable payout artefact.
- Against
E7A public complaint on the same funded account, 10559607, states that a later payout of 172 dollars requested on 19 June 2026 passed its stated deadline with no transaction reference and no reply. The same account was paid once and then stalled.
- Against
E8A compiled review of 2026 denials documents a 33,000 dollar refusal on a layering rule the firm subsequently removed for that account type, a 22,000 dollar balance lost after a previously approved KYC was reversed, and 703 dollars approved on 14 November 2025 and never transferred. Denials are issued after approval on rules read retrospectively.
- Against
E9PropFirmMatch has moved QT Funded from its main directory to its unlisted register and advises extra caution before funding an account. A mainstream prop directory withdrawing a listing.
- Against
E10The terms bind traders not to publish any part of their account, support, risk review or payout correspondence without written consent, and allow account termination for publishing statements the firm considers false or damaging. This suppresses precisely the evidence a denied trader would otherwise post, and must be weighed when reading the public review record.

What we would do
What we would do with our own money.
Treat this as a firm that may pay you and may not, and size your exposure to that.
- If you buy at all, buy the smallest account you would still be happy to have paid for, and treat the fee as spent.
- Take your first payout early and small. Small payouts are the ones we could evidence landing. Do not let a balance build past four figures before testing the withdrawal path.
- Read the general trading rules before the marketing. The homepage advertises no news rule, while the terms impose a ten minute restricted window around high impact news on all programmes and list news trading as behaviour that can cost you a performance fee.
- Screenshot everything: your equity curve, the payout request and its number, and every support reply. The terms restrict publishing account correspondence, so keep your own record.
- Do not accept a QT Capital invitation while you hold unpaid profit. Entry forfeits your QT Funded accounts and any accrued or pending profit share.
- If you win a giveaway account, note that payout is withheld until you publish one promotional social post per 1,000 dollars of account value.
- Never fund the evaluation with money you need, and be aware that raising a chargeback forfeits all accounts and accrued profits and results in a permanent ban.
