Does The Nomad Trader pay out?
The verdict, the risk score and the figures behind them.
We found something serious: a payout pattern, a severe clause, or regulator action.
We could not evidence a single payout from The Nomad Trader, and the company named on its own site as the party that signs the trader agreement and pays the money has applied to be struck off the UK register while the storefront keeps selling challenges.
- The site's disclaimer names Forest Park FX LTD as the firm behind the brand. That is UK company 10449848, which was renamed PROP ACCOUNT LTD in July 2025 and filed a strike-off application on 10 August 2026; the first Gazette notice was published on 18 August 2026.
- Zero dated, attributable payout artefacts across Trustpilot, Reddit, prop directories and social channels. One five star Trustpilot review from 10 July 2026 mentions good payouts but gives no amount, date or method.
- The terms allow amendment at any time at sole and absolute discretion, forfeiture of profits in breached accounts, and disclaim any promise of monetary payment.
- Marketing claims 25 million dollars funded, 2,000 funded traders and a 92 percent payout rate, against a domain registered in April 2025 and social accounts with 18 and 15 followers.
- Genuine positives exist: it is a real prop firm with no deposit rails, a published numeric consistency threshold, and gains retained on a hard breach.
Risk breakdown
Six axes, each scored 1-10. Higher means more risk.
Six axes, scored 1 to 10, where a higher number means more risk. Being unregulated is normal for a prop firm and is not scored against them.
- Identity & transparency8/10
The only entity named, Forest Park FX LTD, no longer holds that name and is in voluntary strike off; the terms give an address it vacated in October 2025; no team is disclosed on the site; and a press release places headquarters in Barbados while the disclaimer names a UK company.
- Payout7/10
Zero dated, attributable payout artefacts across four sources against loud unverified claims, and the entity contracted to pay has applied to be struck off. Short history is part of the reason, so this is a gap rather than a proven refusal.
- Terms & rug-pull risk7/10
Amendment at any time at sole and absolute discretion, forfeiture of profits in breached accounts and an express disclaimer of any promise of payment, partly offset by a published 25 percent consistency number and gains retained on a hard breach.
- Trading conditions4/10
Notional funding and possible direct counterparty status are disclosed honestly and platforms are named, but the liquidity provider is never identified.
- Reputation5/10
One independent review in total and no complaints of any kind, which is too little data to read in either direction rather than a clean record.
- Operational & social8/10
Facebook silent since November 2025 with 18 followers, YouTube last uploaded around eleven months ago with 15 subscribers, and the advertised Discord community has no published link.
Payout reality
Whether the money actually arrives, and what we could evidence.
Nothing we opened evidences money leaving this firm. That is unevidenced, not a confirmed refusal, and part of it is simple arithmetic on a brand whose domain is 17 months old. But the gap between what is claimed and what can be checked is unusually wide, and one dated registry fact bears directly on whether a future payout can be honoured.
- What we could evidence: a single Trustpilot review dated 10 July 2026 saying the firm gives good payouts. It names no amount, no date, no method and no account. Under our standard that is a claim, not a record.
- What we could not find: any payout screenshot with a date or certificate id, any Reddit thread where a requester answered follow up questions, any prop directory payout entry, and any public payout channel. The site advertises a Discord powered community but publishes no Discord link anywhere.
- The claims: the homepage advertises 25 million dollars of funding provided, 2,000 funded traders and a 92 percent payout rate. A November 2025 press release repeats them. None is attributable or checkable, and all of them sit against a footprint of 18 followers on Facebook and 15 subscribers on YouTube.
- The counterparty: Forest Park FX LTD, the company the trader agreement is with, applied to be struck off the UK register on 10 August 2026, with the first Gazette notice published on 18 August 2026. Its share capital was reduced to one pound and its directorship changed in October 2025. The challenge storefront was still taking payments when we checked.
- Stated terms are reasonable on paper: withdrawal at any time then every 30 days, drawdown unaffected by a withdrawal, and your share of gains still paid if a funded account hard breaches with profit in it.
How the program works
The evaluation, the funded phase and what the firm keeps.
A buyer pays a one off, non refundable assessment fee. Forex and CFD assessments run one step (10 percent target, 6 percent max drawdown, 5 percent daily) or two step (6 then 5 percent target, 8 percent max drawdown), priced from 40 dollars at 5,000 dollars up to 3,240 dollars at 400,000 dollars, on cTrader, DXtrade, Match-Trader or GooeyPro. Crypto only assessments run to 200,000 dollars on DXtrade with a 90 percent share and a plus or minus 3 percent daily gain and loss band.
The standard split is 80/20. A 90/10 split costs 20 percent more, 95/5 costs 35 percent more, an increase of max drawdown to 8 percent costs 30 percent more, and a Payout Protector add on costs 25 percent more. Passing the assessment triggers KYC and a trader agreement, after which the funded account is issued within 24 to 48 business hours. The first withdrawal can be requested at any time, then once every 30 days.
The futures programme is separate: four phases with a 9 percent target, a 5 percent trailing max loss on end of day balance, a published 25 percent consistency requirement, a 60 day limit per phase, and fixed cash payouts at each phase before a live funded account at a 90 percent share.
Who they are
The company behind the brand, and where it is registered.
- Brand: The Nomad Trader
- Legal entity: Forest Park FX LTD, as named in the firm's own FAQ disclaimer and in the terms a buyer accepts at checkout. That entity is UK company 10449848, renamed PROP ACCOUNT LTD on 30 July 2025.
- Registered: England and Wales, incorporated 27 October 2016, currently at 158 Lawrence Moorings, Sheering Mill Lane, Sawbridgeworth CM21 9PF. Status: active with an active proposal to strike off, accounts overdue.
- Website: thenomadtrader.net, registered 11 April 2025 through GoDaddy.
- Founded: the brand is roughly 17 months old on domain age; no founding date is published on the site.
- Team disclosed: nobody. No founders, officers or staff appear anywhere on the site. A November 2025 press release names Nick Caverly as Chief Operations Officer and places headquarters in Barbados, which does not sit with the UK entity named in the disclaimer.
- Where it accepts traders from: all countries except those on the OFAC list, and otherwise as limited at the company's discretion.

Why this verdict
How the findings add up to this verdict.
HIGH_RISK reflects three findings that stack, not a suspicion.
- The paying entity is being dissolved. The only legal entity the firm names is in voluntary strike off with overdue accounts, and the notice address printed in the terms was vacated in October 2025. The wider platform group has US and Cayman entities, so this may be a restructure rather than a failure, but a trader reading the site cannot tell who will owe them money next month.
- Severe terms with no payout record against them. The agreement can be amended at any time at sole and absolute discretion, profits in breached accounts are forfeited, sums owed to a trader can be forfeited on a prohibited trading finding, and the firm disclaims any promise of monetary payment. Terms like these are survivable when a firm has a visible payout trail. This one has none.
- The public footprint has gone quiet. The last Facebook post is 24 November 2025, the YouTube channel has two videos and last uploaded around eleven months ago, and the promised Discord does not exist publicly. Marketing goes quiet before payouts do.
It is not COLLAPSED: no payout has been shown to have failed, no complaint pattern exists, and the storefront and dashboard both function.
Counterpoints
The strongest case in their favour, and what would change our mind.
The case in their favour
The honest case in its favour is real and should not be dismissed.
- It is a genuine prop firm. There is no cashier, no deposit page, no live account option at signup and no client money or segregated funds language in the terms. The customer buys an assessment and nothing more.
- The infrastructure is established. The dashboard, risk engine and checkout run on Prop Account, a known white label platform, with cTrader, DXtrade, Match-Trader and Rithmic behind it. This is not a hand built storefront.
- Two terms are better than the industry norm. The futures consistency requirement is published as a specific 25 percent number rather than left vague, and failing it costs you the phase payout but not the account. Both the forex and futures FAQs state that gains in a funded account are still paid out to the trader's share even when the account hard breaches.
- Execution disclosure is candid. The firm states plainly that funded accounts are notionally funded and that it may act as direct counterparty, rather than implying pure agency execution.
- Nothing bad has been reported. Across every source we swept there is not one payout integrity complaint against this brand.
What would change our mind
Specific and checkable, in both directions.
- Upward: the strike off application at Companies House being withdrawn or discontinued, or the firm naming on its own site the entity that has replaced Forest Park FX LTD as the counterparty.
- Upward: two or more dated payout artefacts from independent traders naming an amount and a method, in the next quarter.
- Upward: a publicly readable payout channel, and a named, checkable team on the site rather than a single press release.
- Downward: the strike off completing while the storefront is still selling challenges.
- Downward: the first payout integrity complaint describing a passed assessment and a refused withdrawal, or a second platform going dormant.
- Downward: a warning list entry naming thenomadtrader.net.
Evidence ledger
Every finding behind the verdict, with its source.
- Against
E1PROP ACCOUNT LTD, formerly Forest Park FX Limited and the entity named on the firm's site, filed an application to strike the company off on 10 August 2026 with the first Gazette notice on 18 August 2026, and its accounts are overdue.
- Context
E2The firm's own FAQ disclaimer states that The Nomad Trader is provided by Forest Park FX LTD, that all assessment fees are paid to it, and that a passing trader enters an agreement with it. This is the identity lock between the anchor domain and the registry entry.
Hard proofthenomadtrader.net FAQ disclaimer - Against
E3The agreement accepted at checkout permits suspension, amendment or termination at any time at sole and absolute discretion, forfeits profits in breached accounts, and disclaims any promise of monetary payment.
- In favour
E4The checkout takes a single non refundable assessment fee with no cashier, no deposit or funding page, no live account option and no client money or segregated funds language in the terms. The negative deposit test passes cleanly.
- In favour
E5The futures consistency requirement is published as a specific 25 percent of total profit on the best day, failing it costs the phase payout but not the account, and gains in a funded account are still paid to the trader's share on a hard breach.
- Against
E6Facebook page has 18 followers with its most recent visible post dated 24 November 2025; the YouTube channel has 15 subscribers, two videos and a last upload around eleven months ago.
- Against
E7Trustpilot carries a single review for thenomadtrader.net, dated 10 July 2026, praising payouts without naming an amount, date or method. No other independent payout report exists on any platform swept.
- Against
E8The homepage advertises 25 million dollars of funding provided, 2,000 funded traders, 150 countries and a 92 percent payout rate, on a domain registered on 11 April 2025 and with no supporting artefact anywhere.
- Against
E9A November 2025 press release places the firm's headquarters in Barbados and names Nick Caverly as Chief Operations Officer, while the site's own disclaimer names a UK company and the site publishes no team or address at all.
- In favour
E10The dashboard, risk engine, KYC and checkout run on Prop Account, an established white label prop platform, with cTrader, DXtrade, Match-Trader and Rithmic behind it, so the operating infrastructure is real and functioning.

What we would do
What we would do with our own money.
Treat this as a firm to watch rather than one to fund an account with today.
- Before paying anything, ask support in writing which legal entity will sign your trader agreement and pay you, given that Forest Park FX LTD is in strike off proceedings. Keep the reply.
- If you proceed anyway, start at the smallest size. Do not buy the larger accounts or the split add ons until you have taken one payout and been paid.
- Take your first withdrawal as early as the rules allow rather than compounding. The policy permits a first request at any time.
- Screenshot the rules pages and your dashboard at purchase. The terms permit amendment at any time and there is no notice period.
- Assume the 25 million dollar and 92 percent figures are marketing until someone publishes a dated payout.
