Does UProfit pay out?

The verdict, the risk score and the figures behind them.

We found something serious: a payout pattern, a severe clause, or regulator action.

UProfit does pay some traders, and we evidenced dated payouts, but the most recent one we could tie to a named trader is from August 2025 and the reports since have been dominated by accounts terminated at the moment a withdrawal was requested.

  • Verified operator: UPROFITTRADER, LLC, a Delaware LLC formed 9 October 2019, run from Sugar Land, Texas by a publicly named CEO.
  • Four dated, attributable payout reports from named traders between February and August 2025; none we could evidence in the twelve months since.
  • Roughly twenty payout-integrity reports from December 2024 to August 2026 naming amounts of $1,176, $5,000, $20,000, $21,000 and $50,000 or more.
  • Trustpilot has removed reviews for review manipulation and suspended the score, so the wall of praise cannot be relied on in either direction.
  • The terms allow forfeiture of all accumulated profits for something as ordinary as using a VPN, and forfeiture of profits if a trader disputes a charge.

Risk breakdown

Six axes, each scored 1-10. Higher means more risk.

Six axes, scored 1 to 10, where a higher number means more risk. Being unregulated is normal for a prop firm and is not scored against them.

  • Identity & transparency4/10

Entity verified on the Delaware registry with a formation date matching the since-2019 claim and a publicly named founder, offset by a registered-agent mailbox published as the company address and governing documents dated 2021 that still name the old domain and a Texas address.

  • Payout8/10

Four dated payouts evidenced up to August 2025, but a time-clustered payout-integrity pattern from December 2024 to August 2026 with named amounts, approvals reversed after the fact and no independently evidenced payout in the last twelve months.

  • Terms & rug-pull risk8/10

Forfeiture of all accumulated profits on VPN or VPS detection, forfeiture on filing a payment dispute, sole-discretion judgement of non-viable strategies and post-hoc scalping review with no published threshold, only partly offset by genuinely numeric consistency and payout thresholds.

  • Trading conditions5/10

Simulated model disclosed plainly with the CFTC 4.41 notice and Virtual Live naming, but the promised real-capital Funded Live stage is undocumented and no broker or clearing firm is named anywhere.

  • Reputation8/10

Trustpilot removed reviews and suspended the rating for a guidelines breach, independent volume has collapsed to 76 reviews in twelve months against 6,547 lifetime, the recent tail is dominated by payout complaints and a former affiliate publicly withdrew its endorsement.

  • Operational & social3/10

Clearly alive: a product relaunch this year, help articles updated in August 2026, Facebook posting within hours, YouTube uploads within a fortnight and a Discord of 5,717 members, tempered by reports of critical comments being deleted and legal pages untouched since 2021.

Payout reality

Whether the money actually arrives, and what we could evidence.

Money has demonstrably left this firm, and it has demonstrably failed to leave for other traders. Both are evidenced, and the balance has shifted over time.

  • What we could evidence. Four dated reports from named traders describing a payout actually received: Vasilii on 6 February 2025 (paid the next day after request), Berk Guntuncer on 22 March 2025 (first payment, no problems), Rene Ochoa on 25 April 2025 (first payout) and Mauricio on 17 August 2025. These are consistent with the published 24 business hour processing window.
  • What we could not. No dated, attributable payout artefact from any independent trader in the twelve months to August 2026. The firm's own Discord payout channel is not readable without joining, so it could not corroborate.
  • What runs against it. Around twenty payout-integrity reports from December 2024 onward, clustered and repeating the same mechanic: the account is reviewed and breached at the point a withdrawal is requested. Named amounts include $50,000 or more (December 2024), $21,000 in two payouts said to have been approved by email and then reversed (January 2026), $20,000 (December 2024), $5,000 with the account closed and the trader banned from Discord (November 2025), and $1,176 still unpaid after seven business days against a stated 24 hour policy, alongside a retroactive daily-loss breach recorded at $3,007 against a $3,000 limit (July 2026).
  • Corroboration off Trustpilot. A long-standing affiliate reviewer publicly withdrew its endorsement, writing that it no longer promotes the firm because of rule changes that were sneaky and only lead to denied payouts.
  • The firm's own banner of 13,445 approved payout requests is a claim, not a record, and we counted it as such.

How the program works

The evaluation, the funded phase and what the firm keeps.

A buyer purchases a monthly subscription to a simulated futures evaluation, not a one-off challenge. Day 2.0 comes in two shapes, Soft and Flex, at 50K, 100K and 150K.

  • Price: from $78 a month (50K Soft) up to $226 a month (150K Flex), with headline prices of $130 to $377. Activation of the funded stage is currently free.
  • Targets: $3,000 on 50K, $6,000 on 100K, $9,000 on 150K. No minimum trading days to pass.
  • Risk: end-of-day drawdown of $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500, plus a daily loss limit on Soft of $1,100 / $2,200 / $3,000 that locks the account for the session.
  • Consistency: 50% of total profit in the evaluation stage, tightening to 40% in the Virtual Live stage. The legacy DAY program used 30%.
  • Payouts: up to 90% to the trader, on request once there are 3 profit days and the balance is above the SafetyNet cushion ($2,500 / $4,500 / $6,500). Each request is capped at 3% of account size, and the sixth withdrawal closes the account.
  • Rails: subscription paid by card, PayPal or crypto; payouts through Rise or Finrock in USDC, and PayRetailers in some countries.

Who they are

The company behind the brand, and where it is registered.

  • Brand: UProfit, formerly and still partly branded UProfit Trader.
  • Legal entity: UPROFITTRADER, LLC, Delaware file number 7650105.
  • Registered: Formed 9 October 2019 in Delaware. Registered agent is Northwest Registered Agent Service, Inc., and the address the site publishes as its own (8 The Green, STE B, Dover, DE 19901) is that agent's address rather than an office.
  • Operating location: Sugar Land, Texas. The privacy policy still carries the older Texas address at 14090 Southwest Freeway, STE 300, and binds disputes to Texas law and Texas courts.
  • Website: uprofit.com. Support and billing still run on the uprofittrader.com domain, and the Terms still describe themselves as applying to www.uprofittrader.com.
  • Founded: 2019, consistent with the registry.
  • Team disclosed: Not on the current website. The founder and CEO, Lindsay Duff, is publicly identified through the firm's own Facebook page, its LinkedIn company page and recorded interviews.
  • Where it accepts traders from: Worldwide except Afghanistan, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Libya, Myanmar, Sudan and Syria.

Why this verdict

How the findings add up to this verdict.

This is not a collapsed or absent operation. It is an active, verified company whose payout behaviour has become unreliable in a way its own terms permit.

  • A payout-integrity pattern, not isolated grievances. Same failure mode, time-clustered from late 2024 to mid 2026, with checkable amounts and dates, present on Trustpilot and corroborated by a former affiliate partner who had every commercial reason to stay silent.
  • The terms supply the mechanism. Detection of a VPN or VPS forfeits all accumulated profits across all accounts. Disputing a charge forfeits profits. Non-viable strategies and market distortion are judged at the firm's sole discretion, and scalping is assessed after the fact as a percentage of profits from trades under 60 seconds with no published pass mark.
  • The review record has been tampered with. Trustpilot removed reviews and suspended the score for a guidelines breach, which means the 87% five-star history cannot be read as a payout record.
  • A visible drop in independent activity. 6,547 lifetime reviews against 76 in the last twelve months, and the recent tail is overwhelmingly negative.
  • Real mitigation. The entity is verified, the founder is public, the operation is plainly alive, the payout thresholds are published as numbers, and the firm answers complaints in public rather than ignoring them.

Counterpoints

The strongest case in their favour, and what would change our mind.

The case in their favour

The honest case for UProfit is stronger than for most firms carrying this verdict.

  • It is one of the few futures prop firms whose legal entity can be pulled up on a state registry and matched to the date it claims, and whose founder is a named, publicly interviewed person rather than a brand mascot.
  • Its payout rules are quantified rather than vague: an exact consistency percentage per stage, an exact SafetyNet dollar figure per account, an exact 3% cap per request and a stated 24 business hour window. A firm that publishes numbers has taken the undefined-consistency denial route away from itself.
  • Traders have been paid, quickly, and said so with dates. One reported payment the day after requesting it.
  • The business is unambiguously alive: a product relaunch this year, help articles rewritten in August 2026, a Discord of more than five thousand members with hundreds online, daily posting on Facebook and uploads within the last fortnight.
  • It publishes the CFTC 4.41 simulated-performance disclaimer and calls its funded stage Virtual Live, which is more candid than competitors who imply live execution.
  • It replies to hostile reviews in public, sometimes with case specifics, rather than with a template.

What would change our mind

Specific, checkable things, in both directions.

  • Upward: two or more dated payout artefacts from independent, named traders in the next quarter, with amounts and methods stated, would restore the recency the record has lost.
  • Upward: Trustpilot restoring the suspended score after the guidelines breach is resolved.
  • Upward: removing the clause that forfeits all accumulated profits for VPN or VPS detection, or replacing it with a defined warning and appeal process.
  • Upward: publishing the scalping threshold as a number, so a trader can know before trading whether a strategy will be judged non-viable afterwards.
  • Upward: opening the Discord payout channel to public reading with dated confirmations.
  • Downward: further reports of payouts approved and then reversed, or of retroactive breaches recorded only after a withdrawal request.
  • Downward: any regulator warning-list entry naming uprofit.com, uprofittrader.com or UPROFITTRADER, LLC.
  • Downward: the storefront continuing to sell subscriptions while payout complaints go unanswered, or the Discord and social accounts going quiet.

Questions about UProfit

The questions traders actually ask about this firm.

Yes, for some traders. We evidenced four dated reports from named traders who received payouts between February and August 2025, one of them the day after requesting. We could not evidence any independent payout in the twelve months to August 2026, and roughly twenty traders in that window report the opposite.

No. Both the evaluation and the funded stage the firm documents are simulated, which the firm calls Virtual Live and discloses honestly. The Terms mention a later Funded Live stage with real capital, but no published program document describes it.

Your best single day must not exceed 50% of total profit during the evaluation, tightening to 40% in the Virtual Live stage. The figure is published as a number, and the calculation resets after each withdrawal request.

Six per account. The sixth withdrawal closes the account. Each request is capped at 3% of the account size, so $1,500 on a 50K, $3,000 on a 100K and $4,500 on a 150K.

Yes. It relaunched its product range as Day 2.0 this year, rewrote its help articles in August 2026, posts daily on Facebook, uploads to YouTube within the last fortnight and runs a Discord of over five thousand members.

UPROFITTRADER, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company formed on 9 October 2019, file number 7650105. Its published Dover address is its registered agent's address. The operation itself runs from Sugar Land, Texas.

Up to 90% to the trader on Day 2.0 (80% on the legacy DAY program). Requests are processed within 24 business hours after the 5:00 PM ET close, provided all conditions are met.

Yes. Detection of a VPN or VPS closes all associated accounts and forfeits all accumulated profits. Filing a payment dispute also settles your profits in the firm's favour. Both are the most dangerous clauses in the document.

Trustpilot removed a number of reviews for this company and suspended the rating for a guidelines breach. That means neither the historic 87% five-star share nor the volume of praise can be treated as evidence.

We found no warning-list entry, enforcement action or injunction naming uprofit.com, uprofittrader.com or UPROFITTRADER, LLC.

What we would do

What we would do with our own money.

Treat this as a firm that pays some people and has a documented history of not paying others at the moment it matters.

  • Do not commit capital you need back. The subscription is non-refundable, all sales are final, and a failed identity check after you pass does not get your money returned.
  • Never connect through a VPN or VPS, including a corporate or router-level one. Detection alone forfeits every dollar of accumulated profit across all your accounts.
  • Do not dispute a charge with your card issuer while you hold a live balance. The terms settle your profits in the firm's favour if you do.
  • Request your first payout early and small, as soon as you have three profit days and clear the SafetyNet. Do not build a large balance before testing whether the money moves.
  • Keep your own record of every trade, the rule set in force on the day, and the dashboard state, so a retroactive breach finding can be answered with evidence.
  • Watch your best day against the stated 40% consistency figure before you request, since the calculation resets at each request.
  • If you want a settled payout history rather than a contested one, this is not the firm to start with.
