ADFX has 3 licences on record with Wikilix, issued by 3 authorities across 3 jurisdictions. One of them was issued by a tier-1 or tier-2 authority — the regimes with the strictest capital, reporting and client-money rules. We located 3 of 3 on the issuing authority’s own register.

2 licences come from authorities classed as offshore. An offshore regime can be a legitimate registration, but it typically carries lower capital requirements and no compensation scheme.

Most Popular Questions

The company has been on the Australian Business Register since 30 March 2001, and its AFSL has been in force since 17 February 2004. That is a genuinely long operating history for a financial services firm, and it is one of the strongest points in its favour. The current wholesale advisory website, however, is recent: its regulatory information page is versioned 1.0 with an effective date of 24 May 2026.

By email at compliance@ad-fx.com, or through the enquiry form at ad-fx.com.au/contact. The office address is 'Angel Place', Level 17, 123 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000. No telephone number, live chat or social media account is published on the site.

WIKILIX found no evidence of one at the Australian company. ADFX Global Pty Limited is a real, registry-confirmed company holding a real AFSL, at a verifiable Sydney address, and its disclosure of what the licence does and does not cover is unusually frank. The genuine risk is a different one: the ADFX brand also carries offshore permissions the official site never mentions, one of them licensed to another company entirely. If you meet a retail trading offer using the ADFX name, treat it as unconnected to the Australian licensee until the operator proves otherwise.

Two offshore permissions are recorded under the ADFX brand: a Seychelles securities dealer licence SD1661 and a Vanuatu licence 701016 effective 6 February 2026. Neither appears anywhere on the official website. The Seychelles licence is recorded against TradingDynamix Ltd, a company with no stated connection to the Australian licensee, and the Vanuatu licence against an entity named ADFX Global limited. Both are low-tier offshore permissions with no client money protection scheme behind them.

Only if you are an Australian resident. The regulatory information page states that the website and the services are intended for residents of Australia only, that the licence authorises financial services in Australia, and that the site is not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where such use would be contrary to local law. The site is published in English only.

A substantial set, and ADFX lists them itself. Wholesale clients are not entitled to a Financial Services Guide, a Product Disclosure Statement or a Statement of Advice, are not covered by the statutory best interests duty for personal advice, and have no access to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. That last point matters most: there is no free external dispute-resolution scheme to fall back on.

ADFX requires evidence before it will act for anyone. Depending on which statutory test applies, that may include a certificate from a qualified accountant confirming net assets of at least $2.5 million, or gross income of at least $250,000 in each of the last two financial years. The firm invites prospective clients who are unsure to email compliance@ad-fx.com.

None are published. The site names no MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader or proprietary terminal, and offers no platform download. The service described is research and adviser consultation, delivered by report and by phone.

The official website publishes no leverage figure, no spread schedule, no commission rate and no execution model, because it does not operate a trading service. Any leverage or spread figure circulating against the ADFX name does not come from the Australian licensee's own website, and WIKILIX has not written such figures into this profile.

There is none, because there is no trading account to fund. The site publishes no minimum deposit, no deposit method and no withdrawal method. The only money that changes hands is the monthly advisory subscription fee.

Three monthly advisory plans are published, in Australian dollars including GST. Market Intelligence is AUD 699 per month for weekly market commentary and a monthly research report. Professional Advisory is AUD 1,199 per month, adding an assigned adviser and weekly phone consultations. Strategic Advisory is AUD 3,999 per month, with a dedicated adviser, bespoke research and up to two consultations a week.

The operator is ADFX Global Pty Limited, an Australian private company with ACN 096 386 686 and ABN 13 096 386 686, registered office at 'Angel Place', Level 17, 123 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000. WIKILIX confirmed the company on the Australian Business Register, where it has been active since 30 March 2001. It previously traded under the name Advance Trading Australia Pty Ltd.

No. The official website offers no live or demo trading account of any kind. ADFX states it provides financial services only to wholesale clients as defined in sections 761G and 761GA of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), and that if you are a retail client it cannot provide services to you and you should not rely on anything on the site. What it sells instead are monthly advisory subscriptions.
