Independent safety report

Is AUS GLOBAL a scam?

Likely scamMEDIUM confidence
Offshore broker with overstated licences, regulator alerts and profit-removal complaints

AUS Global is rated a likely scam at 70% risk: the Securities Commission Malaysia lists ausglobaluk.com as an unlicensed firm, its licences are weaker than it advertises, and many clients report profits removed and deposits cut.

  • Regulator alert: the Securities Commission Malaysia added AUS Global (www.ausglobaluk.com) to its Investor Alert List in June 2025 for unlicensed dealing in securities. In 2021 the UK FCA warned against its former brand, Ausforex.
  • Licences overstated: AUS Global MU Ltd, the company behind the site, holds only an offshore Mauritius broker licence. The South African licence covers advice and intermediary services only. The CySEC licence belongs to AC Markets (Europe) Ltd and does not cover ausglobaluk.com.
  • Claims that do not hold up: the site presents a St Vincent company number as a dealer licence. It also still lists an Anjouan banking licence that the register has shown as cancelled since February 2026.
  • Complaints: more than 20 reviews, mostly from late May to July 2024, describe profits deleted, 4% deducted from deposits and accounts closed. One trader reports that a US$20,926 deposit was withheld.
  • In its favour: the group is real, with licensed companies in Mauritius, South Africa, Cyprus and Australia, and it answers complaints publicly.

Risk scorecard

Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

7/10 · High

Real but weak licences (Mauritius broker licence, FSCA intermediary only, CySEC and ASIC affiliates that do not cover ausglobaluk.com retail clients), plus a Malaysian regulator alert naming the domain.

Identity & transparency

5/10 · Moderate

Entities, numbers and addresses are published and the Mauritius licensee matches, but the Cyprus entity name is wrong and the site never says which company holds client money.

Withdrawals & conduct

7/10 · High

Pattern meets all four tests: profits removed, 4% cut from deposits and accounts closed, clustered May to July 2024 across two platforms. Deposits are mostly returned; one principal is reported withheld.

Reputation

8/10 · Critical

Trustpilot withholds the rating for a guidelines breach and removed fake reviews (94% one-star), and regulators in Malaysia and the UK have warned about the current and former brand.

Website claims

8/10 · Critical

Presents a St Vincent company number as a dealer licence, still lists a cancelled Anjouan banking licence, misnames its Cyprus entity and calls an FSCA intermediary licence a dealer licence.

Operational history

3/10 · Low

Brand verified back to AUSFOREX in 2016 (domain since 2006, Australian company since 2011), but with a rebrand after a UK warning and frequent changes of entities.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We rate AUS Global a likely scam for three reasons: a regulator names its exact website, several of its own licence claims fail on the official registers, and clients describe the same way of losing money. It is not a clone. The group and its licences are real, which keeps the score at the bottom of the likely-scam band.

  • Regulator alert on the domain: the Securities Commission Malaysia lists AUS Global at www.ausglobaluk.com as unregistered and unlicensed, carrying on unlicensed dealing in securities (published 9 June 2025). Despite that, the site lists a Malaysia office, offers a Bahasa Melayu option and advertises a Best Forex Broker Malaysia award.
  • Former brand warned: in September 2021 the UK FCA named Aus Group Limited, trading as Ausforex (comment@ausforex.com, 5 Harbour Exchange, London), as an unauthorised firm targeting UK residents. AUSFOREX used the same London address in 2016, and the Cyprus firm whose licence AUS Global cites owns the AUS FOREX trade name. Malaysia also listed AusForex in May 2024. A new brand name does not clear that history.
  • Cancelled licence still advertised: the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority shows licence L15949/ABCL of Ausglobal Bank Corporation Limited as cancelled, with an end date of 4 February 2026. AUS Global's compliance page still presents it as authorised for all banking activities.
  • A licence that does not exist: the site calls AUS Markets Limited a licensed securities dealer regulated by the St Vincent FSA under number 1668. That number is its business company registration (1668 CTD 2024), and securities or forex dealing is not among the sectors that regulator supervises.
  • Licences described as more than they are: FSCA authorisation 52171 covers only Category I advice and intermediary services, and AUS Global ZA is not on the FSCA list of OTC derivative providers. CySEC licence 350/17 belongs to AC Markets (Europe) Ltd (Cyprus company HE 348274, formerly LTTrader Ltd). No company called AUS Prime Europe Limited exists in the Cyprus registry, and ausglobaluk.com is not one of the licence's approved websites.
  • A repeated complaint pattern: on Trustpilot and BrokersView, different traders describe the same thing, mostly between late May and July 2024. Profits were deleted for alleged rule breaches, 4% was taken from deposits on withdrawal, and accounts were closed. Many give amounts. The company's replies say deductions happen only after a breach of its terms. Trustpilot shows the company's rating as withheld for a guidelines breach and says it removed fake reviews.
  • How the number is set: the weighted scorecard comes to 66%. A regulator alert naming the website, and the unresolved warning against the former brand, each set a minimum of 70%.

Evidence ledger

Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.

11 against2 in favour
  • E1The Securities Commission Malaysia lists AUS Global, URL https://www.ausglobaluk.com, as an unregistered or unlicensed entity carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities (published 9 June 2025, IOSCO warning 38369). The SC's own notice of 8 June 2025 adds AUS Global to its Investor Alert List.

  • E2The site targets Malaysian clients despite that alert: it lists Malaysia among its offices, offers a Bahasa Melayu option and advertises a 2022 Best Forex Broker Malaysia award.

  • E3The Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority register shows Ausglobal Bank Corporation limited (company 15949, incorporated 4 Feb 2025) with licence L15949/ABCL, a licence end date of 4 Feb 2026 and the status CANCELLED - NOT ACTIVE (page dated 28 Oct 2026). AUS Global's compliance page still says the company is authorised to conduct all types of banking activity under that licence.

  • E4AUS Global's compliance page calls AUS Markets Limited a licensed securities dealer regulated by the St Vincent FSA under number 1668, yet the same page gives 1668 CTD 2024 as its business company number. The SVG FSA's site lists the sectors it supervises, and securities or forex dealing is not among them.

  • E5The FSCA register shows FSP 52171, AUS GLOBAL ZA (PTY) LTD (reg. 2021/128085/07), authorised on 11/03/2022 for Category I products (derivative instruments, deposits, long-term insurance) with advice and intermediary services only. A search of the FSCA list of OTC derivative providers for AUS returns no result. The broker's site calls this a licensed securities dealer.

  • E6The Cyprus companies registry shows company HE 348274 as AC MARKETS (EUROPE) LIMITED, registered 26 Oct 2015, with earlier names LTTRADER LIMITED and NBF INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. A name search for AUS returns no AUS PRIME EUROPE company. AUS Global's site attributes CySEC licence 350/17 and registration 348274 to AUS PRIME EUROPE LIMITED.

  • E7CySEC lists licence 350/17 as held by AC Markets (Europe) Ltd since 11/12/2017, with dealing on own account permitted and approved domains www.acprime.eu, www.ausprime.eu, www.lt-markets.com and www.ausforex.eu. The same firm owns the Cyprus trade name AUS FOREX (registered 29 Jan 2018). So the AUS brand has a genuine EU-licensed affiliate, but ausglobaluk.com is not one of its approved websites.

  • E8The FSC Mauritius register lists AUS Global MU Ltd (management company Blue Azurite Ltd), licensed on 20/04/2023 as an SEC-2.2 Investment Dealer (Broker). Its address, Suite 803, 8th Floor, Hennessy Tower, Pope Hennessy Street, Port Louis, matches the broker's site.

  • E9ASIC's AFS licensee data lists licence 427848 for AUS GLOBAL FINANCIAL (AU) PTY. LTD. (ABN 21 149 088 988) from 12/10/2012, limited to financial product advice and arranging deals for wholesale clients. ASIC's company register shows the company was registered on 2 Feb 2011 and was formerly Fairwind Holdings, Eternal Wealth Group and 358 Pty Ltd. The current website does not advertise this licence.

  • E10On 2 Sep 2021 the UK FCA warned that Aus Group Limited, trading as Ausforex (5 Harbour Exchange, London E14 9GE; comment@ausforex.com; www.ausforex.asia), is not authorised and is targeting people in the UK.

  • E11An archived copy of ausforex.com from February 2016 presents AUSFOREX as a trading name of AUS Capital (UK) Ltd at 5 Harbour Exchange, London, described as FCA authorised (FCA 725682). The FCA register lists AUS Capital (UK) Ltd only as a former appointed representative that is no longer registered. This ties the address in the Ausforex warning to the AUSFOREX brand that became AUS Global.

  • E12The Securities Commission Malaysia alert list also names AusForex (IOSCO warning 30706, 7 May 2024) for unlicensed dealing in securities and derivatives. The entry gives the brand name only.

  • E13Trustpilot shows the rating for ausglobaluk.com as unavailable because of a guidelines breach and says it removed fake reviews; of 94 reviews, 94% are one-star. More than 20 reviews from late May to July 2024 describe profits deleted for alleged rule breaches, 4% taken from deposits on withdrawal, and accounts deleted. Examples: US$426 of profit and US$220 of deposit taken; in Sep 2025, a US$1,383 profit erased by a balance reset. The company's replies say deductions occur only after a breach of its terms.

  • E14A BrokersView complaint dated 9 Apr 2024 says AUS Global removed US$58,814.27 of profit and offered only the US$20,926.48 principal under a settlement. When the client said he would report the firm, it refused the principal as well. A separate June 2024 complaint on the same site describes profit removal plus a 4% penalty after copy trading.

  • E15Regulators list look-alike sites under the brand: New Zealand's FMA names ausglobalforex.com as an AUS GLOBAL imposter, and ASIC lists AUS Global (aus2024.com) as unlicensed. Neither domain is ausglobaluk.com, and neither alert is counted against this broker.

  • E16Domain records: ausglobaluk.com was registered on 15 Dec 2022 through Instra Corporation. The predecessor ausforex.com was registered on 3 Aug 2006 through the same registrar, and both records were last changed on 23 Nov 2025.

  • E17The homepage claims 900,000+ clients, 50+ offices and 500+ staff. Its news posts show the company at events hosted by Donald Trump, Prince William and the Clinton Global Initiative, and present it as a United Nations partner after attending a UN forum. None of these claims has been independently verified.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

The strongest case for AUS Global is that it is a real, long-running broker group, not a fly-by-night website.

  • AUS Global MU Ltd, the company named on the site, holds a current FSC Mauritius licence at the same Port Louis address the site publishes.
  • The group has other genuine authorisations. A South African company has been authorised by the FSCA since March 2022. A Cyprus affiliate has held a CySEC licence since December 2017, and its approved websites include ausprime.eu and ausforex.eu. An Australian company has held ASIC licence 427848 since 2012.
  • The brand's history can be checked: AUSFOREX was trading by 2016 and registered the AUS FOREX trade name in Cyprus in January 2018.
  • The Malaysian and UK warnings concern operating without a local licence, which is common among offshore brokers. They do not allege theft.
  • Most complainants say their deposit came back, less 4%. That points to disputed trading rules rather than a refusal to return client money. If the 4% fee and the profit rules are clearly set out in the client terms, some of these complaints become contract disputes.
  • The company replies to negative reviews publicly and invites clients to raise their cases with support.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

The score would fall if the regulatory picture and the complaint record improved. It would rise if new evidence showed client deposits being kept.

  • The Securities Commission Malaysia removing ausglobaluk.com from its alert list, or AUS Global obtaining a Malaysian licence.
  • The website correcting its licence descriptions: naming AC Markets (Europe) Ltd correctly, dropping the St Vincent dealer claim and the cancelled Anjouan licence, and describing the FSCA authorisation as advice and intermediary only.
  • A clear statement of which licensed company holds client money for ausglobaluk.com accounts.
  • Evidence that the 2024 profit removals followed clearly disclosed rules, and that the withheld US$20,926 deposit in the BrokersView case was paid.
  • In the other direction: an enforcement action, a court finding, or new reports of whole deposits being withheld would raise the score.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

14 questions
Is AUS Global a scam?

We rate AUS Global a likely scam, with a 70% risk score. The Securities Commission Malaysia lists ausglobaluk.com as an unlicensed firm, and several of its licence claims do not hold up on the registers. More than 20 clients report profits removed and 4% taken from their deposits. The group does hold real licences in Mauritius, South Africa, Cyprus and Australia, which is why it is not rated higher.

Is AUS Global a fraud?

We found no court ruling or regulator finding of fraud against AUS Global. Regulators have warned about the brand for operating without a licence: Malaysia in 2025 (and its former brand AusForex in 2024), and the UK FCA against Ausforex in 2021. The main reason we treat it as high risk is what clients describe: profits deleted and deposits cut.

Is AUS Global regulated?

Only partly. AUS Global MU Ltd holds an FSC Mauritius investment dealer (broker) licence, an offshore licence with limited client protection. Its South African company is authorised by the FSCA only for advice and intermediary services. The CySEC and ASIC licences belong to group companies that do not serve ausglobaluk.com retail clients.

Is AUS Global regulated by CySEC?

Not for accounts opened on ausglobaluk.com. CySEC licence 350/17 belongs to AC Markets (Europe) Ltd, whose approved websites are acprime.eu, ausprime.eu, lt-markets.com and ausforex.eu. AUS Global's site attributes the licence to AUS Prime Europe Limited, a name that does not appear in the Cyprus companies registry.

Is AUS Global regulated by ASIC?

ASIC licence 427848 belongs to AUS Global Financial (AU) Pty Ltd. It covers advice and arranging deals for wholesale clients only. It does not allow the company to take on retail traders or act as their CFD counterparty, and AUS Global's current website does not advertise it.

Can I withdraw my money from AUS Global?

Many complainants say their deposits came back, but with 4% deducted, and that profits were removed after the broker alleged a breach of its terms. At least one trader reports that a US$20,926 deposit was also withheld. Expect disputes over profits, and read the withdrawal and trading rules before you deposit.

Is my money safe with AUS Global?

It is not well protected. Accounts opened on ausglobaluk.com are not covered by an EU or Australian retail licence, and the Mauritius licence comes with no compensation scheme. The site also does not say which group company holds client money.

Who owns and runs AUS Global?

The site names AUS Global MU Ltd (Mauritius), AUS Global ZA (Pty) Ltd (South Africa), AUS Markets Limited (St Vincent and the Grenadines) and Ausglobal Bank Corporation Limited (Anjouan). It also names a Cyprus firm it calls AUS Prime Europe Limited, which is registered as AC Markets (Europe) Limited. An Australian company, AUS Global Financial (AU) Pty Ltd, also carries the brand.

How long has AUS Global been operating?

The brand traded as AUSFOREX before it became AUS Global. An archived copy of ausforex.com from February 2016 shows the AUSFOREX broker running, the ausforex.com domain dates from 2006, and the Australian group company was registered in 2011. The current domain, ausglobaluk.com, was registered in December 2022.

Is AUS Global on a regulator warning list?

Yes. In June 2025 the Securities Commission Malaysia added AUS Global, with the website www.ausglobaluk.com, to its Investor Alert List for unlicensed dealing in securities. The same regulator listed the former brand, AusForex, in May 2024, and the UK FCA warned against Ausforex in September 2021.

Is ausglobalforex.com the same as AUS Global?

No. New Zealand's Financial Markets Authority lists ausglobalforex.com as an imposter using the AUS GLOBAL name. ASIC has also listed a site at aus2024.com under the AUS Global name, and that is a different domain too. Be wary of anyone who contacts you on AUS Global's behalf through other domains.

What is AUS Global's St Vincent licence worth?

Nothing as a trading licence. The number 1668 is the business company registration (1668 CTD 2024) of AUS Markets Limited. The St Vincent Financial Services Authority does not list securities or forex dealing among the sectors it supervises, so calling this a licensed securities dealer is misleading.

What should I do if AUS Global removed my profits or deposit?

Ask AUS Global in writing for the exact rule it applied and the trade evidence behind it. If your account was with AUS Global MU Ltd, complain to the FSC Mauritius; if it was with AUS Global ZA, complain to the FSCA or the FAIS Ombud. Ask your card issuer or bank about a chargeback, and ignore anyone who asks for a fee to recover your money.

What should I check before depositing with AUS Global?

Ask which company will hold your money, and check that company on its regulator's own register. Read the client agreement for withdrawal fees, minimum holding times and profit-cancellation rules. Test a small withdrawal before you fund the account fully.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat AUS Global as high risk, and protect yourself before sending any money.

  • If you live in Malaysia or the UK, do not open an account. Regulators there have warned about this brand.
  • Ask in writing which company will hold your funds, then check that company on its regulator's own register. A Mauritius broker licence or a St Vincent company number protects you far less than an EU or Australian retail licence.
  • Before trading, read the client agreement for withdrawal fees, minimum holding times and profit-cancellation rules. Test a small withdrawal before you fund the account fully.
  • Keep screenshots of your trades, balances and support chats. If profits or deposits are withheld, complain to the relevant regulator (FSC Mauritius for AUS Global MU Ltd; the FSCA or the FAIS Ombud for AUS Global ZA) and ask your card issuer about a chargeback.
  • Ignore anyone who offers paid fund recovery. Use only ausglobaluk.com: regulators have flagged look-alike sites such as ausglobalforex.com.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
