Back to Capital Markets Elite GroupCounts of what is on record, not a rating. Each figure describes the register entries Wikilix holds and the checks it has run against them.
Capital Markets Elite Group has 3 licences on record with Wikilix, issued by 3 authorities across 2 jurisdictions. One of them was issued by a tier-1 or tier-2 authority — the regimes with the strictest capital, reporting and client-money rules. We located 3 of 3 on the issuing authority’s own register.
One licence comes from an authority classed as offshore. An offshore regime can be a legitimate registration, but it typically carries lower capital requirements and no compensation scheme.
The registers print these licences under Capital Markets Elite Group (Cayman). Searching a register for the trading brand alone may return nothing — use the name above.

No, and this is worth getting right. The group's United Kingdom company, number 07832612, held the Capital Markets Elite Group (UK) Limited name between August 2021 and 4 March 2026, when it was renamed Mondeum Capital (UK) Limited. Any British authorisation belongs to that separate company, not to the Cayman entity that operates cmelitegroup.com, and the broker's own site makes no claim to United Kingdom regulation.
Client services run Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 AST, on +1 (829) 956 5161 and at clientservices@cmelitegroup.com. There is a separate technical support address, a live chat widget on the site, and a Trinidad and Tobago number, (868) 610-2634, for password resets on extended hours to 23:00 AST.
Write to complaints@cmelitegroup.com or to the Grand Cayman office. The broker acknowledges within five business days and aims to resolve within 28 days, with a maximum of eight weeks. Be aware that its published procedure then refers clients to the United Kingdom Financial Ombudsman Service, which has no jurisdiction over a Cayman-licensed firm, so that escalation step would not be available in practice.
There is no investor compensation scheme behind the account. The Cayman securities regime does not operate one, so a client who cannot recover funds has no statutory fund to claim against. This is the single most important difference between this broker and an onshore-regulated one, and it applies regardless of how the platform performs day to day.
Only in limited circumstances, and not for forex. The broker says a US citizen or US-domiciled person must certify either that they are not a U.S. Person or that they were not solicited by the firm, in line with SEC Rule 15a-6, before a securities account is opened. It states plainly that it does not onboard US clients for forex products.
The broker does not publish a list. It states that it does not offer services to Canadian residents or to anyone using a Canadian bank account or card, and that the site is not directed at residents of the United States or Canada. Its help centre explains that the country selector on the sign-up form is the real gate: if your country is not listed there, the firm does not onboard residents of it.
Not on the current product range. The site sells United States equities, ETFs and options, with over 6,000 instruments across NASDAQ and NYSE. Its help centre still carries a disclaimer about foreign exchange and CFDs not being available to anyone located in the United States, but no live forex or CFD offering is published on the product or pricing pages.
Four, and MetaTrader is not among them. CPro is the broker's own hot key platform and carries no monthly fee. CAP it ALL is the lighter mobile and desktop option for swing trading and investing. DAS Trader Pro and Sterling Trader Pro are established third party direct access terminals with monthly subscriptions. Demo accounts are available on CPro and CAP it ALL for fourteen days.
The broker states it charges no handling fee on incoming wires, but the banks in the chain do. Its own worked example shows a payment provider fee of 15 USD on deposits below 10,000 USD, rising to 1 percent at and above that, plus a flat 20 USD bank fee. Correspondent and intermediary banks may deduct further charges.
International wire transfer is the only documented route. The broker does not accept credit cards or any payment from a third party, and the wire must come from an account in your own name. Deposits should be sent in US dollars, sterling or euros and take three to five business days. Withdrawals are also by wire and cost 60 USD.
On CPro, commission and ECN fees are 0 USD under a promotion running to 31 December 2026, with no platform fee and market data at 29.50 USD a month. On DAS and Sterling, commission is 0.0005 USD per share with a 0.50 USD minimum per order and a 1 percent cap of trade value, and the platforms cost 124 USD and 224 USD a month. A regulatory admin fee of 0.0005 USD per share applies everywhere, and overnight positions are financed from the Fed Funds Rate plus 875 basis points on smaller balances.
Up to 6 to 1 on the Active account and up to 10 to 1 on the Enhanced account, with the 10 to 1 tier requiring a cash balance of 2,000 USD or more. DAS Trader Pro and Sterling Trader Pro are capped at 6 to 1 on balances above 500 USD.
100 USD on the CPro platform for an Active account, and 500 USD if you choose DAS Trader Pro or Sterling Trader Pro. The Enhanced account, which unlocks the higher leverage, requires 2,000 USD. Note that one help centre page still refers to a 500 USD minimum balance to trade, which conflicts with the 100 USD figure on the current pricing page.
The site footer names Mondeum Investment Group Limited, a Saint Lucia international business company, as the holding company of Capital Markets Elite Group (Cayman). Saint Lucia does not publish a searchable register of international business companies, so that parent could not be independently inspected. Related group companies are on record in Trinidad and Tobago, the United Kingdom and Canada.
No. It is a real business with a licence we confirmed, named company officers of record in three jurisdictions, real offices and a fully published fee schedule. The genuine risks are about protection rather than legitimacy: offshore supervision, no investor compensation scheme, and a complaints procedure that points at a body with no power over a Cayman firm.
