Broker Summary
What Wikilix has recorded about Capital Markets Elite Group: its history, the licences it holds, its trading conditions and its fees.
Capital Markets Elite Group Broker Overview
Capital Markets Elite Group, which trades as CMEG, is a direct access broker for United States equities and ETFs rather than a foreign exchange broker. The service at cmelitegroup.com is operated by Capital Markets Elite Group (Cayman), which holds Cayman Islands Monetary Authority licence number 1671530 and gives its registered office as 89 Nexus Way, Camana Bay, Grand Cayman KY1-9009. The firm describes itself as an independent financial services group since 2013. It offers two account tiers, four trading platforms, leverage of up to 10 to 1 on cash balances of 2,000 USD and above, and a minimum initial deposit of 100 USD on its own CPro platform.
Capital Markets Elite Group Regulation and License
The broker's own site footer states that Capital Markets Elite Group (Cayman), licence number 1671530, is authorised and regulated by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority under Section 6(2) of the Securities Investment Business Law (2015 Revision) to carry on the business of a Broker Dealer and Securities Advisor. The licence has been in force since 15 April 2021. The broker's help centre additionally states that it is registered as a Broker-Dealer with the Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission, but publishes no licence number for that claim, which therefore remains claimed and unconfirmed.
A Cayman securities licence is an offshore permission. It authorises securities dealing and advice, it does not carry a statutory investor compensation scheme, and it does not extend to retail foreign exchange or contracts for difference.
Is Capital Markets Elite Group Regulated?
Yes, by an offshore authority, and only by one that could be confirmed. The entity that takes client money is licensed in the Cayman Islands, not in any of the larger markets the site sells into. A client in Europe, the United Kingdom or Australia deals with a Cayman company that their own national regulator has no power over, and no national compensation scheme stands behind the account.
Capital Markets Elite Group Group Structure
Several separate companies use the Capital Markets Elite Group name and it matters which one holds an account. Capital Markets Elite Group (Cayman) operates cmelitegroup.com. Its stated holding company is Mondeum Investment Group Limited, a Saint Lucia international business company. Capital Markets Elite Group (Trinidad and Tobago) Limited, company number 1566345, is active in Port of Spain, and the help centre still describes the business as based in Trinidad and Tobago. The group's United Kingdom company, number 07832612, is recorded at Companies House as active and was renamed from Capital Markets Elite Group (UK) Limited to Mondeum Capital (UK) Limited on 4 March 2026, so the British arm no longer carries this brand at all.
Is Capital Markets Elite Group Safe?
The firm is a real, licensed business, but the protections behind a deposit are thin. Regulation exists and was confirmed, which is not the same as safety: the Cayman regime provides no compensation scheme, so a client who cannot recover funds has no fund to fall back on. The published complaints procedure also directs dissatisfied clients to the United Kingdom Financial Ombudsman Service, a body with no jurisdiction over a Cayman licensee, which leaves the real escalation route unclear. Against that, the operating entity is named openly, the licence number is published, the offices are real addresses and three of the group's companies are confirmed active on official records.
Capital Markets Elite Group Account Types
Two tiers are offered, both for United States equities and ETFs. The Active account is built for day trading and takes a minimum initial deposit of 100 USD on CPro or 500 USD on DAS Trader Pro and Sterling Trader Pro, with leverage to 6 to 1. The Enhanced account requires 2,000 USD and lifts leverage to 10 to 1 on CPro. Corporate and joint accounts are available on request, and demo accounts are offered on CPro and CAP it ALL for fourteen days.
Capital Markets Elite Group Spreads, Commissions and Fees
The broker does not quote spreads; it charges commission and platform fees instead. On CPro, commission and ECN fees are 0 USD under a promotion running to 31 December 2026, the platform is free and real time market data costs 29.50 USD a month. On DAS Trader Pro and Sterling Trader Pro, commission is 0.0005 USD per share with a 0.50 USD minimum per order and a cap of 1 percent of trade value, platform access costs 124 USD and 224 USD a month respectively, and inactivity costs 17 USD per 30 days. A regulatory admin fee of 0.0005 USD per share applies throughout. Overnight financing runs from the Fed Funds Rate plus 875 basis points on balances below 10,000 USD down to plus 250 basis points above 500,000 USD. Withdrawals by wire cost 60 USD.
Capital Markets Elite Group Leverage
Up to 6 to 1 on the Active account and up to 10 to 1 on the Enhanced account, the latter requiring a cash balance of 2,000 USD or more. DAS Trader Pro and Sterling Trader Pro are capped at 6 to 1 on balances above 500 USD.
Capital Markets Elite Group Trading Platforms
Four platforms are offered and none of them is MetaTrader. CPro is the broker's own hot key trading platform, free of platform fees, with Level 1 and Level 2 data. CAP it ALL is the lighter mobile and desktop option aimed at swing trading and longer term investing, also free. DAS Trader Pro and Sterling Trader Pro are established third party direct access terminals carrying monthly fees. All four route through smart order routing across the major United States venues.
Capital Markets Elite Group Deposits and Withdrawals
Funding is by international wire transfer only. The broker does not accept credit card payments or any payment from a third party, and wires must come from an account in the client's own name. Deposits should be sent in US dollars, sterling or euros and take three to five business days. The broker charges no handling fee on incoming wires, but its own worked example shows a payment provider fee of 15 USD below 10,000 USD or 1 percent at and above it, plus a flat 20 USD bank fee. Outgoing wires cost 60 USD.
Capital Markets Elite Group Support
Client services run Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 AST, on +1 (829) 956 5161 and at clientservices@cmelitegroup.com, with a separate technical support address and live chat on the site. Password resets are handled on extended hours to 23:00 AST and a Trinidad and Tobago number is published alongside the international one. The site is available in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean and Chinese.
Capital Markets Elite Group Pros and Cons
Strengths:
- A confirmed, in force licence and an openly named operating entity with real registered offices.
- A low entry point at 100 USD and zero commission on the in house CPro platform under the current promotion.
- Genuine direct access platforms with smart order routing rather than a rebadged retail terminal.
Limitations:
- Offshore regulation only, with no investor compensation scheme behind client money.
- Wire transfer is the only funding route, and withdrawals carry a 60 USD fee.
- The complaints procedure points at a United Kingdom body that does not cover a Cayman licensee.
- No foreign exchange, CFD, commodity or cryptocurrency market is offered on the current product range.
Capital Markets Elite Group Review and Assessment
Capital Markets Elite Group is a functioning offshore stock broker with a specific appeal: cheap, fast, direct access day trading of United States shares with pattern day trading limits that do not apply the way they would at an onshore US broker. The trade off is the one every Cayman licence carries, and it is the thing to weigh before funding an account. Supervision is light, there is no compensation fund, and the published complaints route does not match the licensing jurisdiction. Anyone considering a deposit should confirm which group company their account agreement names and treat the 60 USD withdrawal fee and wire only funding as fixed costs of using the service.

How we know — 8 sources
- 1Canada (CA): the site footer states that Capital Markets Elite Group does not offer services to Canadian residents or to persons using a Canadian bank account or a credit card issued by a Canadian financial institution. A flat, country-named refusal.
- 2United States (US): the site footer states the information on the site is not directed at residents of the United States or Canada, and that securities trading accounts are not accepted from any U.S. Persons believed to have been solicited within the meaning of SEC Rule 15a-6(a)(1). The help centre adds that foreign exchange and CFDs are not made available to anyone located in the United States and that US clients are not onboarded for forex products. A US person who was not solicited may still be onboarded for securities on signing a certification, so the block is country-named but conditional rather than absolute.
- 3US dependent territories (PR, GU, VI, AS, MP): not named anywhere on the site, but their residents fall inside the U.S. Person definition the site applies, so they are recorded as covered by the United States block rather than as separately confirmed.
- 4Client agreement and terms at https://www.cmelitegroup.com/policies/terms-and-conditions/ were read and publish no list of restricted countries, only a general statement that no publication should be construed as an offer or solicitation in any jurisdiction where it would be illegal.
- 5No dedicated restricted-countries or accepted-countries page is published; the sitemap carries none and none of the usual paths exists.
- 6The registration form country selector at https://ky.portal.cmelitegroup.com/register could not be reached, so the definitive onboarding list is unread. The broker's own help centre confirms that selector is the gate: it states a country will not appear in the sign-up list if the firm does not onboard residents there. No whitelist codes are recorded on that basis.
- 7Fraud prevention policy and the account funding help pages were read and name no countries; funding is restricted by method rather than by jurisdiction, with third-party and credit card payments refused.
- 8Site language variants are published in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, which indicates the markets served but names no accepted country.
