What DXtrade legally published, but does not want you to read

Every clause below is published by DXtrade itself, on its own website, today. The finding is not that the text exists. It is the distance between what a client is shown and what a client agreed to. Read from its own documents on .

DXtrade is a platform, not a broker. Devexperts Solutions IE Limited sells it to brokers and prop firms, and your money stays with whichever one you signed up to. The agreement that binds you to the platform is not on the legal page. It sends every dispute to three arbitrators in London and bars group claims. A clause added in 2024 lets Devexperts cut your access over what it believes about your broker. Its own terms publish two different company numbers for the company.

What the documents say

14 clauses worth knowing about, worst first, each quoted from DXtrade's own files

01

To bring a claim against Devexperts over the platform, you have to go to arbitration in London before three arbitrators. The End-User Agreement gives you no court and no ombudsman.

Why this matters

A three member tribunal in London costs far more than most trading accounts hold. You also give up the right to join other users in a single claim, so a shared problem has to be fought alone.

Exhibit 1CriticalRarely seen3

You agree that this Agreement and Your use of Platform are governed by the Rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (“LCIA”, and the rules, “LCIA Rules”). Any dispute will be heard by three (3) arbitrators appointed in accordance with the LCIA Rules.

What it costsThree arbitrators, each billing by the hour, cost three times what a single arbitrator would.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must give a retail client access to an independent complaints scheme at no cost to the client. This agreement names no ombudsman and sends every dispute to arbitration in London.

DXtrade is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Our readingArbitration under the London Court of International Arbitration, before a tribunal of three, is a device for disputes between companies. Pointed at one individual platform user, the cost of starting it is usually larger than the claim.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 6The agreement removes the warranty on your prices and then prices the only forum for complaining about them out of reach.
  • Worse together with Exhibit 7A losing claim costs you twice, because you may also carry Devexperts' legal fees.
02

Devexperts can suspend or close your access to the platform if it believes your broker breached its contract with Devexperts. The clause needs only its own belief, described in the agreement as a good faith and reasonable sole discretion.

Why this matters

Your open positions live on that screen. The agreement gives you no claim against Devexperts if the screen goes dark. It also says Devexperts owes you nothing when it changes or withdraws the platform.

Exhibit 2CriticalHarder than usualNew

Notwithstanding the abovementioned, Devexperts may terminate or suspend the Agreement or the Access to the Platform (fully or partially) to You, without incurring any resulting obligation or liability, if (a) We receive a judicial or other authorities demand or order, subpoena, regulations or law enforcement request that expressly or by reasonable implication requires Us to do so; or (b) Devexperts believes, in its good faith and reasonable sole discretion, that: (i) Your Broker has breached the terms of agreement with Devexperts or You have breached this Agreement or Your Broker or You have acted in any manner that does not comply with any material instruction or requirement of Devexperts;

Opening the DXtrade platform binds you to its End-User Agreement. That agreement is on neither the footer nor the site's own page list, and the only link to it sits on the login screen.

Why this matters

Devexperts can change those terms at any time without notice, and the new version binds you the next day. You are expected to find the page and re-read it yourself.

The agreement that binds platform users used to name Devexperts LLC of the Isle of Man. It now names Devexperts Solutions IE Limited of Ireland. Devexperts can rewrite it without telling you.

In plain words

On a principal basis, as your counterparty, means the broker takes the other side of your trade itself. Your loss is then the firm’s gain, so it has an interest in how your trade ends.

Why this matters

The company you could sue, and the law it answers to, changed while nothing on your screen did. You were not asked, and the agreement does not require anyone to tell you.

The terms give you two different registered numbers for the same company. The English page says Devexperts Solutions IE Limited is number 720583. The page served to Spanish speakers says 000686L.

Why this matters

Ireland's companies register holds this company under 720583, the number on the English page. The Spanish page gives you a different number, so one of the two cannot identify who you are contracting with.

Our readingA registered company number is the one fact in a contract that is meant to be checkable against a public register. Publishing two different ones for the same company, in two languages, removes that check.

Devexperts sells the platform in Spanish and contracts in English

Twenty Spanish language pages market the DXtrade platform on dx.trade, and both legal documents they link are in English only. Any arbitration under the End-User Agreement runs in English, in London. The demo a visitor can sign up for is also not what it looks like, because the site's own FAQ says it is for brokers rather than traders.

The Spanish section of dx.trade invites you to try the platform now. Both legal documents it links are published in English only, and any arbitration runs in English too.

Why this matters

You are asked to agree to terms in a language the page you are reading is not written in. If you later dispute anything, the hearing is in London and in English.

Devexperts can switch off your access and owes you nothing for it

A clause added to the DXtrade End-User Agreement in 2024 lets Devexperts suspend or end your access. It needs only its own belief about you or your broker. Using the platform is what binds you to that agreement, it is not listed on the site's legal pages, and a revision takes effect the day after Devexperts publishes it.

Access control1 clause flagged

The agreement bars you from integrating the platform with any other software. Break any restriction and Devexperts can end your access at once, and you carry its legal costs, including lawyers' fees.

Why this matters

A trade copier or a bot wired into your DXtrade account puts you in breach, by the agreement's own words. The promise to cover Devexperts' losses has no upper limit.

Any claim against the platform starts with three arbitrators in London

Three arbitrators under the London Court of International Arbitration hear any dispute between you and Devexperts about the DXtrade platform. The agreement bars you from joining other users in one claim and makes the decision final. It also disclaims any warranty that the prices and data on your screen are accurate or timely.

Routes to a remedy1 clause flagged

Devexperts gives you no warranty that the prices, the data or the exchange information on the platform are accurate, complete or timely. The agreement makes that content your broker's responsibility, in capitals.

Why this matters

A stale or wrong price is money when you trade with leverage, which means trading with borrowed size. For that loss the agreement sends you to your broker and excludes Devexperts entirely.

Exhibit 6WarningStandard wording

THERE IS ALSO NO WARRANTY OR LIABILTY FOR FUNCTIONALITIES, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY OR TIMELINESS OF THE CONTENT OF THE PLATFORM, NAMELY THE DATA (INCLUDING ANY EXCHANGE INFORMATION, DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, SOFTWARE OR TECHNOLOGY).

The privacy policy you can read is not the one that covers your trading

Five years is how long Devexperts keeps your details after they were last updated. The policy on dx.trade covers the website only. Inside the platform your data follows your broker's privacy policy, and every data claim goes to your broker. For transfers out of Europe the policy still names standard contractual clauses the European Commission replaced in 2021.

Your data3 clauses flagged

The privacy policy you can read on dx.trade covers the website. Your data inside the platform is processed under your broker's privacy policy, and every data claim goes to your broker.

Why this matters

To find out what happens to your trading data, you have to read a document this site does not publish. Devexperts also takes its own right to analyse how you use the platform.

Clause B in DXtrade Privacy Policy
Read from the broker's site on Open the reference

Where it sits: section 25 of 78 in the DXtrade Privacy Policy, 32% of the way through.

For sending your data outside Europe, the policy relies on two sets of standard contractual clauses from 2004 and 2010. The European Commission replaced both in 2021. Submitting your details counts as your agreement to the transfer.

Why this matters

The safeguard the policy promises you for data leaving Europe no longer exists in the form it names. Nothing in the policy tells you which protection applies instead.

Exhibit 12NoticeHarder than usual

We shall additionally conclude the following agreements with the data receiving organization in such countries: the Standard Contractual Clauses for Controller-to-Controller Transfers approved by EC Commission Decision of 27 December 2004 (the “C-to-C Transfer Clauses“) or the Standard Contractual Clauses for the Transfer of Personal Information to Processors Established in Third Countries approved by EC Commission Decision of 5 February 2010 (the “C-to-P Transfer Clauses“) depending on the nature of the Processing.
Clause G in DXtrade Privacy Policy
Read from the broker's site on Open the reference

Where it sits: section 44 of 78 in the DXtrade Privacy Policy, 56% of the way through.

Your broker controls the prices on the screen, and nobody warrants them

Devexperts warrants nothing about the accuracy or timeliness of the data on the DXtrade platform, and its agreement makes that content the broker's responsibility alone. Your chart history reaches only as far back as your broker provides. Devexperts' own library for brokers explains the choice between passing a client trade to the market and keeping the risk in house.

Price and data control1 clause flagged

Your broker controls the chart history on your DXtrade screen and the data behind it. Devexperts warrants none of it. Its own library explains to brokers the choice between passing your trade on and keeping the risk in house.

Why this matters

Whether your broker profits when you lose is settled in your broker's documents, not in anything published here. The platform brand on your screen tells you nothing about it.

Exhibit 13NoticeStandard wording

The chart history data is controlled by the broker company. You can go back as far as there is available data provided by the broker.

Who the contract is with

Devexperts Solutions IE Limited

Devexperts Solutions IE Limited is the company named in all three legal documents, at 7 Grand Canal, Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland. It sells the DXtrade platform to brokers and prop firms, and states that it provides no brokerage services. Your trading account, your money and your withdrawals belong to the broker that licensed the platform. No document here names that broker. The English terms give the registered number as 720583, and the Spanish terms give 000686L. Until February 2024 the same End-User Agreement named a different company, Devexperts LLC of the Isle of Man.

Quotations are copied verbatim from the documents named above, with the clause number and the page each one came from. Where a clause is quoted in another language, the original is shown first and the English is a translation.

The plain-language parts, what a clause means for a client, how ordinary it is, and how it reads against a regulated standard, are WIKILIX's analysis and are labelled as such on every card. This is a reading of public documents, not legal advice and not an allegation of wrongdoing.

In fairness, and what we could not check

A reader who knows the edges of the work can trust the middle of it

Devexperts tells traders that it is not their broker. Its FAQ repeats in four separate answers that it cannot help with your account, and sends you to your broker instead. The footer of every page says it provides no brokerage services. The platform login screen carries the standard warning that CFDs can lose money rapidly. No fees, withdrawal rules or bonus terms appear anywhere in these documents, because this company never holds your money. The agreement promises commercially reasonable efforts to keep the platform running, and Devexperts covers you if the platform infringes someone else's patent or copyright.

This review covers the privacy policy, the terms of use and the End-User Agreement in full. It covers the terms of use in both English and Spanish, and the two versions differ. Two of the files collected for dx.trade are e-book download pages rather than legal documents, and they are covered only for what they claim. No earlier copy of the English terms of use was available, so we cannot say when the two company numbers began to differ. No Spanish version of the End-User Agreement is published. Each broker runs its own branded copy of the platform, so we cannot say what a trader accepts inside one.

How to check any of this yourself

Every quote above links to the DXtrade file it came from. This is what to do with it.

Open the three stepsFind the words in the source, work out the fingerprint, and read what a difference does and does not prove.

Open the source and search for the words

Every quote has a link under it. Open the file, or the web page, and search it for the words we quote. The clause number next to the quote tells you where to look.

If the words are not there any more, the source may have changed after we read it. That is worth knowing too. We keep the date we read it, and a code worked out from its wording, so the quote stays checkable.

What a fingerprint is

A fingerprint is a code worked out from what a source says. Change one word and the code changes completely. We keep two codes for every file we read, and the panel on each source shows both.

The first is the code of the exact file we downloaded. The second is the code of its wording alone, with capital letters lowered and runs of spaces collapsed. When the same words are saved as a new file, the first code changes and the second one stays the same.

Only the first code can be worked out on your own computer. Save the file, then run one of these, putting the name of the file you saved where the example is. The panel on each source prints the command with that source's real file name already in it.

macOS or Linux:
  shasum -a 256 the-file-you-saved.pdf

Windows:
  certutil -hashfile the-file-you-saved.pdf SHA256

The two codes are different from each other, and they are not meant to match. Comparing one against the other proves nothing.

What a difference means, and what it does not

A different file code on its own proves nothing. A PDF saved again with a new date inside it is a new file saying exactly the same thing.

A different wording code means the words themselves changed. That is the one that matters, and it is why we keep it.

Even then, a change is not proof of bad faith. Companies update their documents. What this report says is what the document said on the day we read it, and every quote carries that date.

A source that is a web page and not a file has no file to save, so only the code of its wording is shown.

How this report is made

Every clause quoted above comes from a document DXtrade publishes on its own website, downloaded and hashed on the date shown, with the clause number and page recorded so any reader can check it. We do not allege anything the documents do not say, and we do not judge DXtrade on anything other than its own published terms and its own public marketing. Where a clause has a qualifier that softens it, the report says so. Last read Oct 11, 2026.

If you represent DXtrade and a clause has changed, been withdrawn, or is being read out of context, tell us and we will re-read the documents and update this page. Corrections from the broker are welcome and are published with the reading they change. Contact us.

This is a reading of a contract, not legal advice and not a ruling on DXtrade. Whether its licence is real and current is a separate check on the broker profile.
