Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
9/10 · CriticalOnly a claimed MISA (Comoros) number, BFX2025011, which is absent from MISA's own register; MISA is a disavowed, near-worthless offshore registrar; no JFSA registration despite soliciting Japanese residents; predecessor carries a Japanese regulator warning.
Identity & transparency
7/10 · HighA legal entity and registration number are disclosed, but the real operator is obscured: Comoros on paper, a Hanoi back office, Japanese-language targeting, a Panama/St. Vincent predecessor, and shifting Cryptograph/EdgeGraph branding.
Withdrawals & conduct
6/10 · HighFund-integrity complaints (withdrawals refused or indefinitely delayed) appear across several Japanese platforms with no positive reviews, but transactional specifics are thin and no confirmed advance-fee demand, so this is not a proven systematic-theft pattern.
Reputation
8/10 · CriticalStrongly negative multi-platform Japanese coverage labelling it an unregistered/scam operator, plus a regulator warning against the predecessor brand and no positive user reviews located.
Website claims
8/10 · CriticalAdvertises a 2020 founding and a 2020 to 2026 timeline against a Jan 2025 main domain and a 2022 oldest domain, and asserts a specific MISA licence number not present on the register, plus 1000x-leverage marketing to Japanese users.
Operational history
6/10 · HighThe verifiable history is an upper bound of about 4.5 years resting on a warned predecessor domain (2022), while the current brand and site are about 8 months old and the operating entity could not be dated; a rebrand-to-shed-history pattern rather than an established record.
Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.
A young offshore operation that presents itself as a long-established broker.
- Brand: EdgeGraph FX (site page titles also show 'Cryptograph Securities')
- Legal entity: EdgeGraph FX Limited, registration HT00225001
- Registered: Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Island of Moheli, Union of the Comoros; a back office is listed in Hanoi, Vietnam
- Website: edge-graph.com (registered January 2025); my.edge-graph.com; cryptograph.finance (from 2022, now redirects to the main site)
- Only licence: a claimed MISA (Comoros) number, BFX2025011, which is not found on MISA's own register
- Offers: FX pairs, CFDs, precious metals and crypto, with leverage advertised up to 1000x
- Not accepted: United States, Australia, Malaysia, North Korea, Iran and others per its own terms
- Age claim: says it was 'established in 2020 as Cryptograph Limited'; the earliest domain we can date is 2022 and the current brand and site date to 2025

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
We rate EdgeGraph FX a likely scam. Several independent findings point the same way.
- Its only claimed licence, MISA (Comoros) number BFX2025011, does not appear on MISA's own authorised-brokerage register, which lists issuances only through the 2024 series. Even if it existed, MISA is an offshore registrar the Comoros central bank has disavowed, and it gives clients no real protection.
- The broker's own history page says it was 'established in 2020 as Cryptograph Limited'. A company called Cryptograph Limited carries a warning dated 21 June 2023 from Japan's Kanto Local Finance Bureau for soliciting Japanese residents without registration. The old cryptograph.finance domain now redirects to edge-graph.com, tying that warned brand to this operation.
- The site shows a 2020 to 2026 company timeline, but the main domain was registered in January 2025 and the oldest domain we can date is from 2022. The advertised history is longer than anything we can verify.
- It runs a Japanese-language site advertising 1000x leverage, far above Japan's 25x limit, without the registration Japan requires. Japanese lawyers and consumer sites list it as an unregistered operator and report clients who cannot withdraw.
- We found no positive user reviews and no genuine, verifiable trading licence anywhere.
Note on operating history: the 4.5-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1Japan's Kanto Local Finance Bureau issued a warning dated 21 June 2023 against CRYPTOGRAPH LIMITED for soliciting Japanese residents in over-the-counter derivatives without registration. The broker's own history page states it was established as Cryptograph Limited, and cryptograph.finance redirects to edge-graph.com, so this warned predecessor is the same operation.
E2The claimed MISA licence BFX2025011 does not appear on MISA's own authorised-brokerage register, which lists 120 brokerage licences all in the 2024 series (BFX2024001 to BFX2024235, latest issued 24 December 2024). Neither EdgeGraph nor Cryptograph is on the list.
E3The broker's own history page says 'EdgeGraph FX Limited was established in 2020 as Cryptograph Limited' and shows a 2020 to 2026 timeline, but the main domain edge-graph.com was registered on 23 January 2025 and the oldest datable domain is from 2022, so the advertised history exceeds what can be verified.
StrongEdgeGraph FX websiteE4The predecessor domain cryptograph.finance redirects to edge-graph.com/en, directly linking the Cryptograph brand to the current EdgeGraph FX operation. The site's page titles also still carry 'Cryptograph Securities' branding.
ModerateDomain redirectE5EdgeGraph FX runs a Japanese-language site advertising fast account opening and up to 1000x leverage (Japan caps retail FX leverage at 25x) without registration with Japan's Financial Services Agency; Japanese legal and consumer sites list it as an unregistered overseas operator soliciting Japanese residents.
E6Fund-integrity complaints reported across multiple Japanese platforms describe deposits made but withdrawals refused or indefinitely delayed with template-only support replies. No positive reviews of safe use were found. Specific amounts and ticket numbers are not quoted.
Moderatecrypto-lab.co.jpE7The main domain edge-graph.com was created 2025-01-23 (registrar NameCheap, Cloudflare nameservers), about eight months old, which is inconsistent with the multi-year operating history the site advertises.
ModerateRDAP (Verisign)E8The broker discloses a legal entity (EdgeGraph FX Limited), a registration number (HT00225001), a Comoros registered address and a Hanoi back office, so it is not a fully anonymous operation, though none of this establishes a valid trading licence.
E9The predecessor domain cryptograph.finance was registered 2022-03-15, so a real prior operation of roughly four years exists under the Cryptograph brand. This provides history but not reassurance, since that brand is the one Japan warned about.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
In fairness, here is the strongest case for the broker, and why it does not change our view.
- MISA's public list may lag new licences, so a genuine 2025 licence could in theory exist without appearing yet. But the broker points to no register entry, and a MISA licence would give little protection even if real.
- A real predecessor domain does exist (cryptograph.finance, from 2022), so this is not a brand invented overnight. The problem is what that predecessor is: a firm regulators warned about, not a track record that reassures.
- Some complaints are ordinary service gripes such as slow support and spreads, which we do not treat as fraud. Others describe withdrawals that do not arrive, which is the serious kind.
- A separate domain, fx-edge.com, appears on review sites; it is a different operation and we did not attribute any of its record to EdgeGraph FX.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
We would revisit this assessment if the facts changed.
- MISA publishing licence BFX2025011 on its own register, held by EdgeGraph FX Limited and shown as active.
- Registration with Japan's Financial Services Agency, or the broker ending its Japanese-language solicitation.
- Credible, verifiable reports of clients withdrawing funds in full over a sustained period.
- Clear evidence that the Cryptograph Limited warned by Japan is a different company, unrelated to this operation.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is EdgeGraph FX a scam?
We assess it as a likely scam. Its claimed Comoros licence is not on the regulator's own register, it was rebranded from a firm Japanese authorities warned about, and clients report being unable to withdraw. Treat it as high risk and do not deposit.
Is EdgeGraph FX a fraud?
We cannot state as fact that it commits fraud, because no court or regulator has made that ruling. What we can report is the conduct: an unverified licence, an inflated history, solicitation of Japanese residents without the required registration, and withdrawal complaints. We assess the risk of fraud as high.
Is EdgeGraph FX regulated?
It claims a MISA (Comoros) licence, BFX2025011, but that number does not appear on MISA's own authorised-brokerage register. MISA is an offshore registrar disavowed by the Comoros central bank and is not a meaningful regulator, so in practice the broker is effectively unregulated.
Can I withdraw my money from EdgeGraph FX?
Several Japanese consumer and legal sites report clients who could not withdraw or faced long delays and template replies. The broker blames anti-money-laundering checks. We found no verifiable reports of full, timely withdrawals.
Is my money safe with EdgeGraph FX?
There is no evidence your funds are protected. There is no verified licence, no compensation scheme, and the operator's true location is unclear. We would not consider deposits safe.
Who owns EdgeGraph FX?
The site names EdgeGraph FX Limited, registered in the Comoros, with a back office in Hanoi, Vietnam. It targets Japanese users and its predecessor used Panama and St. Vincent addresses, so the true operators are not clearly disclosed.
How old is EdgeGraph FX?
The current brand and its main website date to January 2025. The oldest related domain, cryptograph.finance, is from 2022. The claim of operating since 2020 is not supported by anything we can verify.
What is a MISA licence worth?
Very little. MISA is issued by the autonomous island of Moheli in the Comoros and has been disavowed by the Comoros central bank. It offers no real client protection and is treated as a bottom-tier, near-worthless registration.
Was EdgeGraph FX previously called Cryptograph?
Yes. The broker's own history page says it was 'established in 2020 as Cryptograph Limited', its page titles still show 'Cryptograph Securities', and the cryptograph.finance domain redirects to edge-graph.com. A company called Cryptograph Limited carries a June 2023 Japanese warning.
Is EdgeGraph FX a clone of another broker?
No. It does not appear to impersonate a well-known regulated firm, so it is not a clone. The concern is that it is an unregistered operation rebranded from a warned predecessor.
Is EdgeGraph FX legal in Japan?
It is not registered with Japan's Financial Services Agency, which is required to solicit Japanese residents. Japan's Kanto Local Finance Bureau warns about exactly this kind of unregistered overseas operator, and the site offers 1000x leverage that far exceeds Japan's 25x limit.
I was scammed by EdgeGraph FX, what should I do?
Stop depositing and never pay a fee or tax to unlock a withdrawal, which is a common trap. Save all records, request your withdrawal in writing, and contact your national regulator and your bank or card provider about recovery. In Japan, the Kanto Local Finance Bureau takes reports.

What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat EdgeGraph FX as high risk and do not deposit.
- Do not send money, and be especially wary of any request to pay a fee, tax or deposit to release a withdrawal.
- If you already deposited, stop adding funds, save all records such as chats, receipts and transaction IDs, and request a full withdrawal in writing.
- If you are in Japan, you can raise it with the Kanto Local Finance Bureau; elsewhere, contact your national financial regulator and your bank or card issuer about a chargeback.
- We recommend flagging this broker as a scam pending review.
This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
