FSC is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Most Popular Questions

Yes, with an exception. FBS's Trading Conditions say negative balance protection applies to all its accounts: if a balance goes negative after all positions close, FBS covers it and does not ask the client to pay. In exceptional cases, when the company considers the client's actions intentional, it reserves the right to claim the debt from the client.

Yes, in some cases. FBS's Terms and Conditions let the company withhold, reverse or adjust profits that, in its reasonable opinion, resulted from 'Asymmetric Risk Exposure', a prohibited trading practice, the exploitation of technical or pricing irregularities or abuse of its trading environment, and they define Asymmetric Risk Exposure as trading that produces an artificial or non-market outcome, including cutting exposure to market risk while keeping the chance of profit. FBS's Trading Conditions also let it limit the profit on an order to 300 pips when a price gap exceeds 300 pips, while a stop loss inside a gap is filled at the first quote after it.

Yes. FBS's help centre says clients can open a Real or a Demo account, with the same trading conditions on both, and choose MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5, the account currency and the leverage when opening it. MetaTrader 5 also has a WebTrader for demo accounts on fbs.com, and the FBS app works with both demo and real accounts.

FBS says it offers more than 550 instruments, including over 70 currency pairs, along with metals, indices, energies, stocks and cryptocurrency CFDs. Stocks are offered on MetaTrader 5 and in the FBS app, while FBS describes MetaTrader 4 for forex, metals, indices and energies.

Under FBS's Complaint Handling Policy, complaints go by e-mail to support@fbs.com or in writing to its Belize office, and a formal complaint uses the form in Schedule 1 of the policy. Account statement discrepancies must be raised within 48 hours and other complaints within two business days, and the policy promises a final decision within 14 days. A help-centre article on disputed orders says a claim is considered within 10 business days.

FBS offers live chat and a callback request on fbs.com, a request form in its help centre at fbs.helpcenter.io, and e-mail at support@fbs.com; its app page also advertises 24/7 support inside the FBS app, with a reply in under a minute. The fbs.com footer gives the phone numbers +357 22 010970 and +501 611 0594, and FBS can also be reached through Facebook Messenger and a Telegram bot. The help centre is available in English, Arabic, Indonesian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish and Malay.

Yes. Swap-free is a setting that can be switched on for any real FBS account in the Trader Area or the FBS app. On exotic pairs, a swap-free account pays a fixed weekly commission from the second Sunday a position stays open, and FBS can withdraw swap-free status if it finds arbitrage, carry trades or other misuse.

FBS's Financial Department reviews a withdrawal request within 24 hours, and the Terms and Conditions commit to processing it, where feasible, within 3 business days. For delivery, one help-centre article gives e-wallets immediately or within about 30 minutes, cards 3 to 4 business days and bank transfers 7 to 10 business days, while another gives 2 to 7 business days for both cards and bank accounts. A card refund can sometimes take more than a month on the card network's side.

It can. fbs.com says deposit and withdrawal commission is 'Not charged by FBS', but its Terms and Conditions, last revised in August 2026, reserve the right to charge 5% of the total amount of a client's deposits and/or withdrawals to cover the company's transaction costs, and say that deposit and withdrawal commissions are shown in the Trader Area and that payment or transfer charges may be debited from the trading account. The help centre also shows a card refund as '$30 + withdrawal fee', and the Terms allow FBS to charge 100 USD in investigation costs for each chargeback.

fbs.com shows one live account, the Standard Account, with an initial deposit from 5 USD, leverage of up to 1:3000, spreads from 0.7 pips and no commission to open or close positions. FBS's Trading Conditions also describe a Cent Account, which can only be opened through a partner's referral link and is not listed on the website. Any real account can be switched to swap-free, and demo accounts carry the same trading conditions as real ones.

FBS Markets Inc. operates fbs.com and is the company clients contract with under the fbs.com Terms and Conditions; the company, registration number 000001317, is listed on the Financial Services Commission of Belize's LicenSys register, checked on 20 October 2026, and gives its office as The Bentley, #16 Cor A Street & Princess Margaret Drive, Belize City, Belize. Its payment transactions are managed by HDC Technologies Ltd., registration number HE 370778, of Limassol, Cyprus. In the European Union the brand is represented by a separate company, Tradestone Limited of Cyprus (registration number HE 353534), which runs fbs.eu, and the Malay-language site ms-brokerfbs.com names Mitsui Markets Ltd. of Port Vila, Vanuatu, as its operator.

FBS Markets Inc. does not offer its services to residents of the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, India, Iran or Myanmar, and clause 1.14 of its Terms and Conditions adds others such as Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, China, Pakistan and North Korea. The fbs.com footer also names Israel and the Terms name South Korea, yet both countries can still be selected on the registration form. Visitors from Europe who open fbs.com are sent to fbs.eu, the FBS site that Tradestone Limited runs for the European Union.

FBS advertises leverage of up to 1:3000 on its Standard Account, but the level depends on account equity: 1:3000 up to 199 USD or EUR, 1:2000 from 200, 1:1000 from 5,000, 1:500 from 30,000 and 1:400 from 150,000. Whatever the account setting, metals and crypto CFDs are capped at 1:500, indices and energies at 1:200 (1:500 on US30, US100 and US500) and stock CFDs at up to 1:100. The Cent Account goes up to 1:1000, and the maximum can be lower where the law of a client's country requires.

The Standard Account on fbs.com takes an initial deposit from 5 USD, although some payment methods set higher minimums, such as 10 USD for Neteller and 12 USD for Skrill. The Cent Account, which can only be opened through a partner's referral link, starts from 1 USD. FBS's help centre recommends depositing at least 100 USD, and accounts are held in USD or EUR.

FBS names Visa and Mastercard cards, the Skrill, Neteller and Perfect Money e-wallets, bank transfer and, in some countries, local banks; each client's options and limits are shown in the Trader Area. Skrill deposits start from 12 USD and Neteller from 10 USD, and deposits are capped at 2,000 USD until verification documents are provided. Withdrawals go back to the method and account used to deposit: card deposits are refunded to the card first, and profit is then withdrawn by another method.

FBS offers three platforms: its own FBS app for Android and iOS, MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4. MetaTrader 5 runs on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and in the browser through a WebTrader on fbs.com, and carries FBS's full range including stocks. MetaTrader 4 runs on the same devices plus the MT4 MultiTerminal and is described by FBS for forex, metals, indices and energies, while the FBS app also handles deposits, withdrawals and account verification.

FBS Markets Inc., which runs fbs.com and holds the accounts opened there, is regulated offshore: the Financial Services Commission of Belize's register listed its licence 4077102, a registration under the Securities Industry Act 2021 for trading in securities as agent and as principal, as active when WIKILIX checked it on 20 October 2026. No investor compensation scheme covers its clients, and the brand's CySEC licence, 331/17, belongs to a different company, Tradestone Limited, and applies to fbs.eu rather than fbs.com. A licence is not a guarantee of safety: FBS's Terms and Conditions let it withhold or reverse profits it attributes to 'Asymmetric Risk Exposure' or other prohibited trading, and reserve the right to charge 5% of deposits and withdrawals.

Licence 4077102 was issued by Financial Services Commission (FSC), the financial authority for Belize.
FBS holds this FSC licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the FSC register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
Wikilix rates FSC tier 3. Supervision is lighter-touch and client protections vary.
Yes, FSC is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
This page links straight to the FSC register. Search it for 4077102, and for the name FBS rather than the trading brand.
FBS has one other licence on record with Wikilix, across one jurisdiction. They are listed further down this page.
