Is fivehills a scam?

High risk (unverified)MEDIUM confidence
Updated August 15, 2026
Offshore-licensed broker with a misleading client-fund safety claim

We found no proof that Fivehills, now trading as OEX Securities, is a scam, but we found enough unresolved problems to call it high risk at 52 percent.

  • The Seychelles licence is genuine. We opened the Financial Services Authority register and found Fivehills Securities Limited listed as a Securities Dealer, with fivehills.com recorded as its own website.
  • The site tells clients their money is held in segregated trust accounts at two Australian banks. The company holds no Australian licence, and a Seychelles licensee has no evident basis for that arrangement.
  • The footer credits licence SD059 to OEX Securities Limited. The register shows that licence belongs to Fivehills Securities Limited.
  • The brand is mid rename. A new domain was registered on 4 August 2026, and both advertised login addresses do not currently work.
  • Almost nobody has reviewed this broker anywhere. There is no Trustpilot page for the domain at all.

Regulation

6/10 · High

Holds a genuine, in force Seychelles Securities Dealer licence SD059 that we confirmed on the regulator own register, but it is a tier 3 offshore permission with no compensation scheme and the register names a different company than the site does.

Identity & transparency

5/10 · Moderate

Address, phone, email and website all match the regulator record and sister brands are disclosed, but the client facing entity name holds no licence, no owners or executives are named and both advertised portal addresses do not resolve.

Withdrawals & conduct

4/10 · Moderate

One unconfirmed fund integrity report from August 2022 describing about 50,000 dollars held with no reply, found on a single platform. No pattern established and no advance fee demand anywhere.

Reputation

5/10 · Moderate

Almost no independent footprint. No Trustpilot page exists for the domain and nothing surfaced on Reddit or Forex Peace Army, while the brand name collides with a separate operation flagged as a suspected clone.

Website claims

7/10 · High

Tells clients their money sits in segregated trust accounts at two named Australian banks despite holding no Australian licence, attributes licence SD059 to a company that does not hold it, and advertises an award winning status with no award named.

Operational history

4/10 · Moderate

Evidenced operation runs from August 2022, roughly four years, on a domain that was parked and for sale beforehand. Mid rebrand onto a domain registered eleven days ago adds churn risk, and the company itself could not be dated.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Brand: Fivehills, now presenting itself as OEX Securities
  • Legal entity: Fivehills Securities Limited on the regulator register. The website instead names OEX Securities Limited
  • Registered: 1st Floor, Dekk House, Zippora Street, Providence Industrial Estate, Mahe, Seychelles

  • Only licence: Seychelles Financial Services Authority Securities Dealer licence SD059, a tier 3 offshore permission

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

This is a real, licensed offshore broker with several things about it that do not add up. None of them prove theft, and together they are too serious to ignore.

  • The licence checks out, and that matters. We opened the Seychelles Financial Services Authority register of Securities Dealers and found Fivehills Securities Limited listed, with the address, phone number, compliance email and website all recorded. The website the regulator records is fivehills.com, the exact site under review. The register also shows an accredited securities dealer representative attached to the firm. This is not a company wearing someone else strong credentials.
  • But the licence is weak. Seychelles is a tier 3 offshore jurisdiction. There is no statutory compensation scheme, so if the firm fails there is no fund to pay you back.
  • The client money claim is the most serious finding. The funding page states that client money is held in segregated client trust accounts at National Australia Bank and Westpac, described as AA rated Australian banks. We found no Australian licence for this company under either name. Australian client money rules apply to Australian licensees, and a Seychelles securities dealer has no evident basis for holding client trust accounts at those banks. The surrounding page reads like an Australian broker template, listing Australian dollars first among accepted currencies. This is a material claim about the safety of your deposit and we could not support it.
  • The entity on the licence is not the entity on the site. The footer says OEX Securities Limited is authorised and regulated under licence SD059. The register says SD059 belongs to Fivehills Securities Limited. On the evidence this is a rename rather than impersonation, because the regulator itself records this domain against the licensed firm. Even so, clients are being asked to contract with a name that holds no licence, and nothing on the site explains the relationship.
  • The operation is in visible flux. The domain oexsecurities.com was registered on 4 August 2026, eleven days before this review, and now serves the same site. Every login and open account button points to my.oexsecurities.com, which does not resolve in public DNS. Neither does mycenter.oexsecurities.com. A broker whose client portal address does not exist is not in a settled state.
  • The track record is shorter than the domain suggests. The domain fivehills.com was first registered long ago, but archived copies show it sat as a holding page in 2005 and was openly advertised for sale in 2011. Broker content only appears from August 2022. So the evidenced operating history is about four years, not the fifteen the registration date implies. Please read any age figure shown alongside this report with that in mind. We could not date the company itself because the Seychelles company registry is not publicly searchable, so the figure is an upper bound.
  • There is almost no independent trace. Trustpilot has no page for this domain at all. We found nothing on Reddit and nothing on Forex Peace Army. One broker directory records a single complaint from August 2022 describing about 50,000 dollars held on an ECN account with no reply. That is a fund integrity report and we take it seriously, but one report on one platform is not a pattern, and we say plainly that it is unconfirmed.
  • What we did not find matters too. No regulator warning list names this brand or this domain. There is no advance fee demand, no crypto only deposit funnel, and no fake founding year.
  • A name collision we refused to import. A separate operation trades under the Fivehills name from a completely different address and is flagged elsewhere as a suspected clone with a very low score. That is not this company. We checked the website each listing publishes and only counted the one the Seychelles regulator ties to fivehills.com. None of the other operation findings appear in this report.

  • E1The Seychelles Financial Services Authority register of Securities Dealers lists FIVEHILLS SECURITIES LIMITED, with registered address 1st Floor, Dekk House, Zippora Street, Providence Industrial Estate, Mahe, phone (+248) 4374194 and compliance email at the fivehills.com domain. The licence is genuine and in force.

StrongSeychelles Financial Services Authority, Capital Markets register
  • E2The same register entry records the licensed firm website as fivehills.com, the exact site under review. This is the decisive clone test check and it passes: the licence belongs to the operator of this domain, not to an unrelated firm being impersonated.

StrongSeychelles Financial Services Authority, Capital Markets register
  • E3The register also shows an accredited securities dealer representative attached to Fivehills Securities Limited, which indicates an active supervised relationship rather than a dormant paper licence.

ModerateSeychelles Financial Services Authority, Capital Markets register
  • E4The funding page states that client money is held in segregated client trust accounts at National Australia Bank and Westpac Banking Corporation, described as AA rated Australian banks. The company holds only a Seychelles licence and we found no Australian authorisation under either company name, so this material claim about deposit safety is unsupported.

    StrongBroker deposit and withdrawal page
  • E5The site footer states that OEX Securities Limited is authorised and regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority under licence SD059. The register shows that licence is held by Fivehills Securities Limited, so clients are asked to contract with a name that holds no licence.

  • E7Public DNS returns no record for my.oexsecurities.com or mycenter.oexsecurities.com. Every login and open account button on the live site points to the first of those addresses, so the advertised client area cannot currently be reached.

  • E8An archived copy of fivehills.com from February 2011 shows a page stating the domain is for sale, and a 2005 copy shows a registrar holding page. The domain was not this broker for most of its life.

    ModerateInternet Archive snapshot of fivehills.com
  • E9The earliest archived copy showing broker branding on this domain is from 8 August 2022, which sets the evidenced start of the operation at about four years rather than the fifteen implied by the domain registration date.

    ModerateInternet Archive snapshot of fivehills.com
  • E10Trustpilot returns no profile at all for fivehills.com. For a broker operating roughly four years this is an unusually thin independent footprint, and it means there is little public evidence either way about whether clients are paid.

  • E11A broker directory entry matched to fivehills.com records the company as founded in 2021 with Seychelles licence SD059, and carries one complaint dated 16 August 2022 describing about 50,000 dollars held on an ECN account with no response from the company. One report on one platform does not establish a pattern.

  • E15Searches of the major regulator warning and alert lists returned no entry naming this brand, either company name or either domain as of 15 August 2026. Absence from these lists is not clearance, because they lag new operations, but no regulator has published a warning about this firm.

  • E16A separate operation trades under the Fivehills name from a different website address and is scored elsewhere as a suspected clone with a very low rating. Its published website does not match this broker, so it is a different business and none of its record has been counted here.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

Here is the honest case that this broker is simply a small offshore firm rather than anything worse.

  • The licence is real and current, and we verified it at the regulator itself rather than taking the company word for it. Many brokers we review cannot clear that bar.
  • The regulator record matches the site on address, phone, email and domain. Fake operations rarely line up that cleanly against a government register.
  • The MetaTrader 4 installer is served from the MetaQuotes content network under a build issued for this broker, which means a real trading server exists behind the brand.
  • The company voluntarily discloses its other trading names, AR Markets and YHY Bullion. Concealing sister brands would be easier and more typical of a bad actor.
  • Deposits run through cards, bank transfer and Perfect Money rather than a wallet address, and the site states it will not accept third party payments. Both point away from the standard fraud playbook.
  • No regulator anywhere has issued a warning naming this brand or this domain.
  • The site makes no inflated history claim, names no fake executives and promises no guaranteed returns.
  • A rename is a normal commercial event. Registers routinely lag behind corporate name changes, so the mismatch between OEX Securities Limited and Fivehills Securities Limited may be nothing more than paperwork catching up.
  • The thin review footprint cuts both ways. It may simply mean the firm is small and regional rather than that something is being hidden.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

These are the specific things that would move this verdict in either direction.

  • Would improve it: the Seychelles register updating to show OEX Securities Limited as the licence holder, or a clear statement on the site explaining that OEX Securities is the trading name of Fivehills Securities Limited.
  • Would improve it: removing or substantiating the claim that client money sits at National Australia Bank and Westpac. Naming the actual bank that holds client funds, with evidence, would resolve the most serious point in this report.
  • Would improve it: the login and account opening addresses resolving and working, so clients can see a functioning, settled client area.
  • Would improve it: a visible base of independent reviews over time from clients confirming that withdrawals are paid.
  • Would worsen it: any regulator warning list naming fivehills.com, oexsecurities.com or either company name.
  • Would worsen it: two or more further fund integrity complaints on separate platforms describing the same failure, especially any demand for an extra payment before a withdrawal is released. That single pattern would push this to a scam verdict.
  • Would worsen it: the Seychelles licence lapsing or being withdrawn while the site continues to advertise it.
  • Would worsen it: evidence that the rename is being used to leave a complaint history behind on the old brand.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

14 questions
Is Fivehills a scam?

We found no proof that it is. The Seychelles licence is genuine and we confirmed it on the regulator own register. We rate it high risk rather than a scam because of a misleading claim about where client money is held, a mismatch between the licensed company name and the name on the site, and an almost total absence of independent reviews.

Is Fivehills regulated?

Yes, but only offshore. Fivehills Securities Limited holds Securities Dealer licence SD059 from the Seychelles Financial Services Authority. We opened that register and found the entry, with fivehills.com recorded as the company website. Seychelles is a tier 3 jurisdiction and offers far less protection than the UK, Australian or EU regulators.

Why does the site say OEX Securities but the licence say Fivehills?

The company appears to be renaming itself from Fivehills to OEX Securities. The Seychelles register still shows the licence in the name Fivehills Securities Limited. On the evidence this is a rebrand rather than impersonation, because the regulator records this exact website against the licensed firm. Even so, the site should explain the relationship and currently does not.

Can I withdraw my money from Fivehills?

We cannot promise that you can. We found one complaint from August 2022 describing around 50,000 dollars held with no reply from support. That is a single report on a single platform, so it is not a proven pattern, but it is the kind of report that matters most. If you trade here, test a full withdrawal early and keep records.

Is my money safe with Fivehills?

There is no compensation scheme behind a Seychelles licence, so if the firm failed there is no fund that would repay you. The site says client money sits in segregated trust accounts at National Australia Bank and Westpac. The company holds no Australian licence and we could not support that claim, which is the single biggest concern in this report.

Who owns Fivehills and where is it based?

The licensed company is Fivehills Securities Limited, registered in Seychelles at 1st Floor, Dekk House, Zippora Street, Providence Industrial Estate, Mahe. The site names no directors or executives. Its support WhatsApp number carries a United Arab Emirates country code, so day to day operations may sit elsewhere.

How old is Fivehills?

About four years as a broker. The domain was first registered much earlier, but archived copies show it was a holding page in 2005 and was advertised for sale in 2011. Broker content only appears from August 2022. We could not date the company itself because the Seychelles registry is not open to the public, so treat four years as an upper bound.

What is a Seychelles FSA licence actually worth?

It is a real licence issued by a real government authority, and it does require segregated client accounts. But Seychelles is a low tier offshore regulator with limited supervision and no investor compensation scheme. It is far weaker than a licence from the FCA, ASIC or CySEC, and it does not guarantee you will get your deposit back.

Is Fivehills a clone of another broker?

No. We checked, and the licence number SD059 belongs to the company that actually operates this website, which the regulator confirms. Be aware that a different operation uses the Fivehills name from another website entirely and is flagged elsewhere as a suspected clone. That is a separate business and none of its record is counted in this report.

Why are there so few reviews of Fivehills?

Trustpilot has no page for the domain at all, and we found nothing on Reddit or Forex Peace Army. For a broker of roughly four years that is a very thin footprint. It does not prove wrongdoing, but it means there is little independent evidence that clients are paid, which is part of why we rate the risk as elevated.

Why do the login links not work?

Every login and open account button points to my.oexsecurities.com, which does not currently exist in public DNS. The related address mycenter.oexsecurities.com does not resolve either. The company registered oexsecurities.com on 4 August 2026 and appears to be mid transition, so the client area has not been fully set up at the advertised address.

What are AR Markets and YHY Bullion?

They are additional trading names the company discloses on its own certified trading names page, used alongside its brokerage services. Disclosing them is a point in the company favour, but it does mean several brands sit behind one offshore licence, so check which name you are actually contracting with.

What should I check before depositing with Fivehills?

Confirm the licence yourself on the Seychelles register, ask in writing which bank holds client funds, and ask why the licence name differs from the name on your agreement. Start with a small amount, complete a full withdrawal before adding more, and keep every receipt and ticket number.

What do I do if I have already lost money here?

Gather your deposit records, statements, ticket numbers and all correspondence. Complain in writing to the company first, then to the Seychelles Financial Services Authority as the licensing regulator. If you paid by card or bank transfer, ask your bank about a chargeback or recall straight away. Never pay an upfront fee to anyone promising to recover your funds, because that is a common follow up scam.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat this as a high risk offshore broker and do not commit money you cannot afford to lose.

  • Before depositing, ask the company in writing which bank actually holds client funds, and ask it to reconcile the Australian bank statement on its funding page with its Seychelles licence.
  • Ask in writing why the licence is issued to Fivehills Securities Limited while the agreement names OEX Securities Limited, and get the answer on record before you sign anything.
  • Check the Seychelles register yourself using the link in this report. It takes under a minute and shows the licensed name, address and website.
  • If you do proceed, start small and test a full withdrawal cycle before adding any further funds.
  • Keep your own records of every deposit, ticket number and support reply. If a dispute starts, that paperwork is what you will need.
  • Remember there is no compensation scheme behind a Seychelles licence. If the firm fails, there is no fund that pays you back.
  • Be careful which Fivehills you are dealing with. A separate operation uses a similar name from a different website, so always confirm the exact address before you log in or send money.
