What Wikilix has recorded about FNmarkets: its history, the licences it holds, its trading conditions and its fees.
FNmarkets is an online forex and CFD brand operated by two companies: FNmarkets LTD, registered in the Comoros, and FNmarkets (Mauritius) Ltd, a Mauritius private company. It offers a single trading platform, MetaTrader 5, three account tiers, leverage of up to 1:500 and a minimum deposit of 50 USD. Its regulatory position rests on an offshore Comoros brokerage licence rather than on supervision in any major retail market.
The forex permission is held by FNmarkets LTD and was issued by the Mwali International Services Authority in the Comoros under number BFX2024210. It runs from 20 November 2024 to 20 November 2026 and covers foreign exchange, futures, financial derivatives and options trading. A second licence, number GB25204149, was issued in Mauritius by the Financial Services Commission on 8 December 2025 to FNmarkets (Mauritius) Ltd. Its authorised activity is securities trading, and it does not extend to foreign exchange or CFD dealing.
Neither licence was confirmed against the issuing authority's own public register during this review. The Mwali International Services Authority operates no public licensee lookup at all, so the Comoros licence cannot be independently checked by a prospective client.
FNmarkets is regulated offshore only. Its forex licence comes from a Comoros authority that sits in the lowest tier of global financial supervision, requires no segregation of client money, runs no compensation scheme and provides no complaints mechanism. There is no licence from a regulator in the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia or any comparable retail jurisdiction, so a client in those markets is dealing with an entity their own regulator cannot reach.
The two companies behind the brand carry different permissions and different levels of verification. FNmarkets (Mauritius) Ltd is confirmed on the Mauritius corporate record under number C224178, was incorporated on 21 July 2025 and was previously named FNmarkets Ltd; its registered office is held at a licensed management company in Ebene. FNmarkets LTD, the Comoros company that holds the forex licence, could not be confirmed on any public register, because the Comoros publishes none.
Safety cannot be established from the available record. The operator is a licensed business rather than an anonymous website, and one of its two companies is verifiable on an official registry. Against that, the permission covering its actual trading service carries none of the protections that make a broker recoverable when something goes wrong, and the operation is young: the earliest documented date attached to it is the November 2024 licence.
Three accounts are offered, all sharing a 50 USD minimum deposit and 1:500 maximum leverage:
Pricing turns on whether the cost is paid in the spread or in commission. The Raw account quotes from 0.0 pips and charges 7 USD per lot, while the Standard and Islamic accounts quote from 0.8 pips and charge no commission. No account-keeping or inactivity fee is applied. Withdrawal charges are not published, which matters more than usual because it is the one cost a client cannot discover until they try to take money out.
Leverage reaches 1:500 on every account. That is several times what regulators in the United Kingdom, the European Union and Australia allow a retail client, and it is available because the offshore licence imposes no cap.
MetaTrader 5 is the only platform, served from a single live server. There is no MetaTrader 4 offering and no proprietary platform.
Cards, mobile wallets and cryptocurrency are accepted, with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Sticpay, Volet and crypto transfers among the published channels. Deposits are stated to carry no broker charge. Withdrawal fees, processing times and per-channel minimums and maximums are not published.
FNmarkets is a licensed operation whose protection for clients is thin rather than absent. The question worth settling before funding an account is what happens to the money once it is deposited: the Comoros licence does not require it to be held apart from the company's own funds, nothing is published about withdrawal cost or timing, and no compensation scheme stands behind either company. Those are the terms on which any deposit is made.

No tier-1 or tier-2 licence is in force. The regulation FNmarkets holds is lighter, and each row below says what its regulator requires.
A genuine Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting) licence held by FNmarkets (Mauritius) Ltd, confirmed on the FSC's own public register. Client protection: Real supervision of a licensed dealer by an offshore regulator, but no investor compensation scheme comparable to tier-1 regimes.. Effective: 12 Aug 2025.
Verification note
Held by a separate group company from the one carrying the forex permission. The authorised activity is securities trading only, so it does not extend to foreign exchange or CFD dealing and should not be read as supervision of the brand's margin trading service.
These are the rules FSC sets for the firms it licenses. They are not a statement about how FNmarkets applies them, or about which of its companies would hold your account.
An offshore brokerage registration for FNmarkets LTD, confirmed on the Mwali registrar list. MISA is an autonomous-island registrar, not a recognised financial supervisor, and gives little real protection. Client protection: Minimal; an offshore registration rather than genuine financial supervision.. Effective: 20 Nov 2024. Expires: 20 Nov 2025.
Verification note
In-force offshore brokerage licence issued in the Comoros. The authority applies a low-cost registration regime with no client-money segregation requirement, no compensation scheme and no public licensee lookup, so the permission is genuine but carries very little practical protection for a client.

Common questions about FNmarkets
Not long, and the founding date is not reliably documented. The earliest date confirmed for the operation is its Comoros licence, effective 20 November 2024, and the Mauritius company was incorporated on 21 July 2025. There is no verifiable record of the brand before late 2024.
There is no external body to appeal to. The Comoros authority behind the forex licence operates no complaints mechanism, no ombudsman and no compensation scheme, and the Mauritius licence does not cover the forex service, so its complaints route does not apply. Any dispute would have to be pursued directly with the company.
The published contact points are the email address support@fnmarketsglobal.com and a United Kingdom telephone number, +44 07882 967220. The registered address given for the Comoros company is Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Island of Moheli, Comoros Union.
Nothing on record says that it is. The Comoros authority that licenses the forex service does not require client funds to be segregated, and no commitment to segregation is published by the operator. A client should assume deposits sit alongside company money unless the broker states otherwise in writing.
This could not be established. No restricted-country list, accepted-country list or eligibility clause is on record for this operator, so there is no reliable statement of which jurisdictions it will and will not onboard.
Yes. The Islamic account is the swap-free tier, with variable spreads from 0.8 pips, the same 50 USD minimum deposit and the same 1:500 maximum leverage as the other accounts.
This is not published. Neither the processing time for any payment channel nor the withdrawal fee, minimum or maximum is on record, so the cost and the timing of taking money out cannot be established before an account is funded. That is worth weighing before depositing.
Cards, mobile wallets and cryptocurrency are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Sticpay, Volet and crypto transfers. Deposits are stated to carry no broker charge.
MetaTrader 5 only, running on a single live server. There is no MetaTrader 4 option and no proprietary platform.
It depends on the account. The Raw account quotes variable spreads from 0.0 pips and charges a commission of 7 USD per lot. The Standard and Islamic accounts quote from 0.8 pips and charge no commission. No account-keeping or inactivity fee is applied.
Up to 1:500 on every account. That is several times the retail limit imposed by regulators in the United Kingdom, the European Union and Australia, and it is available because the offshore licence sets no cap. Leverage at that level magnifies losses as much as gains.
50 USD. The same minimum applies to all three accounts, Standard, Raw and Islamic.
The brand runs through two companies. FNmarkets LTD, registered in the Comoros, holds the forex licence. FNmarkets (Mauritius) Ltd, incorporated on 21 July 2025 under number C224178, holds a Mauritius securities licence. The Mauritius entity reports that it has no corporate parent and is held by natural persons, who are not named publicly.
There is no evidence that FNmarkets is a scam. It is a licensed operation with two named companies behind it, one of which is confirmed on an official corporate registry. The concern is not fraud but recourse: the licence covering its trading service requires no segregation of client money and funds no compensation scheme, so a client who runs into trouble has very little to fall back on.
Only offshore. FNmarkets LTD holds an in-force brokerage licence issued in the Comoros by the Mwali International Services Authority, number BFX2024210, valid to 20 November 2026 and covering foreign exchange dealing. There is no licence from a regulator in the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia or any comparable retail market.
