Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
6/10 · HighOne genuine licence confirmed in force on the Labuan FSA money brokers directory, but it is a low-tier offshore money-broking authorisation with no compensation scheme, nothing tier-1 or tier-2, and it does not cover the managed fund being sold.
Identity & transparency
5/10 · ModerateThe licensed entity is transparent, with a register address matching its own site, a domain email and a named director, but the main site never says which of five advertised entities contracts with clients and three of those entities could not be confirmed anywhere.
Withdrawals & conduct
3/10 · LowOne fund-integrity report in five years, from Argentina in 2021, describing a deposit said not to be received. No pattern, no refused-withdrawal cluster and no demand for extra payment to release funds.
Reputation
5/10 · ModerateVery thin footprint for a firm advertising two decades of business: no Trustpilot profile under any of its domains, no Reddit discussion, 178 Instagram followers, and a five-star review zeroed by moderators after being traced to a company representative.
Website claims
7/10 · HighClaims 'Regulated by world-class supervisory entities' while naming no regulator and no licence number, presents a New Zealand registration that ended in 2017 as current, and labels a Mauritius Global Business licence as 'FSC Regulation'.
Operational history
6/10 · HighGenuine brand continuity from a 2004 domain with archived broker content from 2006 onwards, offset by a corporate record that only dates to 2013 and is struck off, an undatable current licensee, and a 2003 founding narrative the archive contradicts.
Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.
- Brand: FOREXer
- Legal entity: Forexer Limited (Labuan, Malaysia) is the only entity we could tie to a financial licence. The site also advertises FOREXer LLC (Delaware, USA), FOREXer Advisory AG (Zurich), FOREXer Limited (Auckland, New Zealand) and FOREXer Limited (Mauritius).
- Registered: Office 5, Kim Business Centre 3, Unit F30, 1st Floor, Paragon Labuan, Jalan Tun Mustapha, 87000 Labuan F.T., Malaysia, as recorded by the Labuan FSA. The Dubai premises at 1st floor, DIBC, Hor Al Anz East are a representative office.
- Website: www.forexer.com, with regional and product sites including forexer.com.my, forexer.live, forexer.gold and forexer.academy
- Only licence: a Labuan FSA money-broking licence held by Forexer Limited. Nothing tier-1 or tier-2 anywhere.
- Offers: MetaTrader 5 trading in currencies, precious metals, energy and digital assets, leverage advertised up to 1:500, a $100 minimum deposit, card and bank-transfer funding, and a managed product called the FOREXer Gold Fund.
- Not accepted: the main site publishes no list of restricted countries, which is unusual for a broker licensed only offshore.
- Age claim: 'More Then 20 Years Experience' and 'over two decades', with a stated founding in 2003 as Ntwo Capital Markets in Wilmington, Delaware.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
We could verify the licence that matters, and we could not verify most of what is advertised around it. That combination is what the high-risk-unverified rating describes.
- The licence is real and the broker is not an impersonator. The Labuan FSA directory of money brokers, updated 9 September 2026, lists Forexer Limited with a Labuan street address, the telephone number 087-504 053, the contact email accounts@forexer.com.my and Ms. Afsana Jowkar as director. The email sits on the broker's own domain and the Labuan address matches the address published on forexer.com.my, so the licence belongs to this operation rather than to a company it is imitating.
- A money-broking licence is a weak licence. It permits arranging currency transactions from the Labuan offshore centre. There is no investor compensation scheme, and it does not carry the client-money protections of a tier-1 regime. It also does not cover running a managed fund, which is what the FOREXer Gold Fund is sold as.
- The New Zealand registration ended in 2017 and is still on the About page. The Financial Service Providers Register shows FOREXER LIMITED (FSP298426), registered 16 July 2013, deregistered 13 July 2017, last annual confirmation filed 8 November 2016, and records that it 'was registered to provide' a broking service. The New Zealand companies register shows company 4416438 as removed. Even when it was live, FSPR registration was a directory entry and never a licence, which is precisely why overseas brokers have used it to sound New Zealand regulated.
- The Mauritius claim does not survive the register. Searching the FSC Mauritius Online Public Register of Licensees for 'Forexer', 'Forex' and 'FOREXER LIMITED' returns no data, while a control search returns results normally. The register covers entities licensed to provide financial services, so a company holding only a Global Business licence would not appear. That is consistent with the number reported for this entity, GB24202777, which follows the Global Business Company format. Presenting that as 'FSC Regulation' tells a reader they are supervised for trading when they are not.
- The site names no regulator at all where it counts. The homepage carries the phrases 'Regulated Broker' and 'Regulated by world-class supervisory entities'. The regulations page says operations are 'governed by regulatory bodies' and gives no regulator, no number and no verification link. A broker that genuinely holds a licence normally links it.
- The corporate story and the archive do not line up. forexer.com was registered on 7 December 2004 and the archived homepage of 2 February 2006 is already a working FOREXer forex and CFD site with account types and a live price feed, so roughly twenty years of brand presence is real. That page's footer reads 'Cyber Financial Corporation', not the Delaware company the About page credits with founding the business in 2003. The Delaware and Zurich entities could not be confirmed on any register, because Delaware publishes no free entity search with incorporation dates and the Swiss commercial register exposes no searchable public listing for this name.
- The track record we can evidence is shorter than the one advertised. The oldest domain dates to 2004, but the oldest company we could actually date is the New Zealand entity incorporated on 13 May 2013, and that one is struck off. The licensed Labuan company could not be dated. So the figure of about thirteen years is an upper bound, and the twenty-two years the site claims rests on brand continuity rather than on a corporate record we could follow.
- Client complaints are thin rather than absent. We found one fund-integrity report, from Argentina in August 2021, describing a deposit of 48,000 pesos that the broker said it never received. One report five years old on a single platform is not a pattern, and we say so plainly. No Trustpilot profile exists for forexer.com, www.forexer.com or forexer.live, and there is no discussion of the broker on Reddit. For a firm advertising two decades of global business and with 178 Instagram followers, that is a very small footprint.
- One review was flagged as the broker's own. ForexPeaceArmy's moderators zeroed a five-star rating on its FOREXer page after the reviewing account was found using the same address as a FOREXer representative. Writing your own good reviews is not theft, but it tells you how the firm manages its reputation.
- What is not here matters too. We found no entry naming FOREXer or its domains on any regulator warning or alert list, no enforcement action, and no fraud-related court record. There is a genuine MetaTrader 5 server under the name FOREXer-Server, and funding runs through card networks and bank transfer rather than crypto wallets only. Both point to a real trading business.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Labuan FSA Financial Institutions Directory, filtered to Money Brokers and updated 9 September 2026, lists Forexer Limited at Office 5, Kim Business Centre 3, Unit F30, 1st Floor, Paragon Labuan, with telephone 087-504 053, email accounts@forexer.com.my and Ms. Afsana Jowkar as director. The licence is genuinely held by this operation and the register's own contact email sits on the broker's domain.
E2The New Zealand Financial Service Providers Register records FOREXER LIMITED, FSP298426, NZBN 9429030250963, trading as Www.forexer.com, registered 16 July 2013 and deregistered 13 July 2017, with its last annual confirmation filed 8 November 2016. The site still presents the New Zealand entity as part of the group.
E3Searches of the FSC Mauritius Online Public Register of Licensees for 'Forexer', 'Forex' and 'FOREXER LIMITED' all return no data, while a control search for an unrelated licensee returns its entry normally. No Forexer entity holds a Mauritius financial services licence, so the advertised 'FSC Regulation' rests on a Global Business company licence rather than on supervision of trading.
E4The New Zealand Companies Office shows FOREXER LIMITED, company number 4416438, incorporated 13 May 2013 at Level 3, 148-150 Cuba Street, Wellington, with directors including Afsana Jowkar and Albert Christen Walters, and a status of removed.
ModerateNew Zealand Companies OfficeE5The FOREXer homepage carries the phrases 'Regulated Broker' and 'Regulated by world-class supervisory entities' and names no regulator, no licence number and no link to any register. The regulations page likewise says only that operations are 'governed by regulatory bodies'.
E6The About page presents six entities as the group: a 2003 founding as Ntwo Capital Markets in Wilmington Delaware, FOREXer LLC (Delaware, 2004), a Dubai representative office (2005), FOREXer Advisory AG (Zurich, 2007), FOREXer Limited (Auckland, 2013, described as 'Registered as FSPR'), FOREXer Limited (Labuan, 2020, under 'LFSA Regulation') and FOREXer Limited (Mauritius, 2024, under 'FSC Regulation'), alongside claims of 22 years in the industry and awards including 'Best Prop Firm Broker of 2024'.
ModerateFOREXer About pageE7The registry record for forexer.com gives a registration date of 7 December 2004, an expiry of 7 December 2027, registrar 101domain GRS Limited and Cloudflare nameservers. The domain is genuinely twenty-one years old.
E8The archived FOREXer homepage of 2 February 2006 is titled 'FOREXER.com - Online Forex And CFD Trading' and shows a working broker site with trading platform pages, managed accounts, partner programme, PRO and Base account logins and a live price feed. Its footer reads 'Cyber Financial Corporation', which is not the Delaware company the current About page credits with founding the business.
E9Archive coverage of forexer.com returns successful captures in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, showing a continuously present site rather than a dormant domain revived recently.
E10The Malaysian site names Forexer Limited of Labuan, Malaysia as the operator under Labuan FSA regulation, gives a registered address at Unit B, Lot 49, 1st Floor, Block F, Lazenda Warehouse 3, Jalan Ranca-Ranca, Labuan and a business address at Kim Business Centre 3, Unit F30, Paragon Labuan which matches the regulator's record, and accepts deposits from $100 by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB and bank transfer.
StrongFOREXer Malaysia siteE11The homepage links a MetaTrader 5 download carrying the server name FOREXer-Server, confirming a real MetaQuotes trading server in the broker's own name rather than an in-house simulated platform. The same footer also contains an unreplaced template link to instagram.com/your_instagram_profile.
E12ForexPeaceArmy's moderators set a five-star rating on its FOREXer review page to zero after finding the reviewing account used the same address as a FOREXer representative within an hour of it. The broker has attempted to post its own positive review.
ModerateForexPeaceArmy review listing for FOREXerE13One user report, dated 19 August 2021 from Argentina, states a deposit of 48,000 pesos was made and the broker said it had not been received. It is the only fund-integrity complaint found against this operation and stands alone, without corroboration on another platform.
WeakA third-party broker directory, user feedback sectionE14No Trustpilot profile exists for forexer.com, www.forexer.com or forexer.live, there is no discussion of the broker on Reddit, and its Instagram account has 178 followers. For an operation advertising two decades of global business, the independent review footprint is close to absent.
ModerateTrustpilot, Reddit and social platform sweepE15Sweeps of regulator warning and alert lists and of enforcement records returned no entry naming FOREXer, Forexer Limited or any of its domains, and no fraud-related court record. There is no regulator-attested finding against this operation as at October 2026.

The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The case for FOREXer being an ordinary, if modest, offshore broker is stronger than the headline figure suggests, and it deserves stating.
- It holds a licence and it is the licence holder. Many brokers in this risk band quote numbers belonging to other firms. FOREXer does not. The Labuan FSA's own record carries its address, its phone number, its domain email and a named director, and that director also appears on the New Zealand company record. The identity checks pass in every direction we tested.
- The brand genuinely is old. A domain registered in 2004 with archived broker content from 2005 and 2006 and coverage in most years through to 2026 is not an aged shell bought last year. Whatever the corporate chain, something has been trading under this name for about twenty years.
- No one official has complained about it. Twenty years of operation with no warning-list entry, no regulator action and effectively one user complaint is not the profile of a boiler room. Scam operations of that age usually leave a trail.
- The infrastructure is real. A MetaTrader 5 server in its own name, card and bank funding rather than crypto-only deposits, demo accounts, a published risk warning and a $100 minimum are the arrangements of a working brokerage, not of a fake platform.
- Some of what we could not confirm is a limit of the records, not a sign of bad faith. Delaware does not publish incorporation dates for free, and Labuan's directory lists money brokers by name without printing licence numbers or dates. A firm can be perfectly honest and still be impossible to date from those sources.
- The stale New Zealand line may be neglect rather than deception. A nine-year-old entry left on an About page is consistent with a company that never rewrote its history section, and it is the kind of thing a reader can check in a minute.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
This rating is about unresolved claims, so specific, checkable things would move it in either direction.
- Towards lower risk: the broker publishing its Labuan licence number on its own site with a direct link to the Labuan FSA directory entry, as a licensed firm normally does.
- Removing the deregistered New Zealand entity from the About page, or replacing it with the fact that the registration ended in 2017.
- Either producing an FSC Mauritius investment dealer licence that appears on the Register of Licensees, or restating the Mauritius entity as a Global Business company rather than as 'FSC Regulation'.
- Naming which legal entity actually contracts with clients on forexer.com and holds their deposits, with that entity's registration number.
- A Mauritius or Labuan corporate registry record dating the operating company, which would turn the thirteen-year upper bound into a firm figure.
- A visible, organic review record on an independent platform showing withdrawals being paid.
- Towards higher risk: any regulator warning or alert naming FOREXer or one of its domains.
- Three or more specific, independent reports within one window describing withdrawals refused, accounts frozen with a balance, or any demand for a further payment before funds are released. A demand of that kind alone would change our assessment immediately.
- The Labuan FSA removing Forexer Limited from its money brokers directory, or publishing an enforcement action against it.
- Evidence that the FOREXer Gold Fund takes money for management without a licence permitting it.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is FOREXer a scam?
No, not on the evidence available. FOREXer holds a genuine money-broking licence from the Labuan Financial Services Authority in Malaysia, and we found no regulator warning, no enforcement action and no pattern of clients being refused withdrawals. We still rate it high risk at 50%, because it advertises regulation in New Zealand and Mauritius that it does not actually hold.
Is FOREXer a fraud?
We found no evidence of fraud. No regulator has issued a warning or alert naming FOREXer or its websites, no enforcement action has been taken against it, and there is no fraud-related court record naming the company. The problems we did find are overstated regulatory claims on its own website, not theft of client money.
Is FOREXer regulated?
Partly. Forexer Limited is listed as a licensed money broker in the Labuan FSA Financial Institutions Directory in Malaysia, and we confirmed that entry on the regulator's own register. That is the only financial licence we could verify. It is a low-tier offshore licence with no investor compensation scheme behind it.
What about the New Zealand registration FOREXer advertises?
It ended nine years ago. FOREXER LIMITED, FSP number FSP298426, was registered on New Zealand's Financial Service Providers Register on 16 July 2013 and deregistered on 13 July 2017. The New Zealand company itself, number 4416438, has been removed from the companies register. Registration on the FSPR was also never a licence, only a directory entry.
Does FOREXer have a Mauritius FSC licence?
Not one we could find. We searched the FSC Mauritius Online Public Register of Licensees for Forexer, Forex and FOREXER LIMITED, and all three returned no data while a control search worked normally. The number that circulates for the Mauritius entity, GB24202777, has the format of a Global Business Company licence, which is a corporate structure rather than permission to deal in currencies.
Can I withdraw my money from FOREXer?
We found no pattern suggesting you cannot. There is one report, from Argentina in August 2021, of a deposit of 48,000 pesos that the broker said it never received. A single report that old on one platform is not a pattern, and we found no complaints of refused withdrawals, frozen accounts or demands for extra payment. Test a small withdrawal early before depositing more.
Is my money safe with FOREXer?
It is less protected than with a tier-1 broker. A Labuan money-broking licence carries no investor compensation scheme, so if the firm failed or refused to pay there is no fund that reimburses you. Your practical recourse would be a complaint to the Labuan FSA and, if you paid by card, a chargeback.
Who owns FOREXer and which company would I be dealing with?
The licensed entity is Forexer Limited in Labuan, Malaysia, and the Labuan FSA names Ms. Afsana Jowkar as its director. The group also advertises companies in Delaware, Zurich, New Zealand and Mauritius. The main website does not say which of those contracts with you or holds your deposits, so ask and get the answer in writing before funding.
How old is FOREXer really?
The brand is about twenty years old, the company record is shorter. forexer.com was registered on 7 December 2004 and was running as a FOREXer forex and CFD site by February 2006. But the oldest company we could date is the New Zealand entity incorporated in May 2013, which is now struck off, and the licensed Labuan company could not be dated. So about thirteen years is an upper bound on the corporate track record, against the twenty-two years the site advertises.
Why does the website say it is regulated without naming a regulator?
That is one of our main concerns. The homepage carries the phrases 'Regulated Broker' and 'Regulated by world-class supervisory entities', and the regulations page says operations are 'governed by regulatory bodies'. Neither gives a regulator name, a licence number or a link to a register. A broker that holds a licence usually links it, because that is the single most persuasive thing it can show.
Is FOREXer a clone of another broker?
No. We checked the licence against the regulator's record and everything points back to this operation rather than to an impersonated firm. The Labuan FSA entry carries a contact email on FOREXer's own domain, accounts@forexer.com.my, and a Labuan address matching the one published on the broker's Malaysian site.
Is the FOREXer Gold Fund covered by its licence?
We do not believe so. A Labuan money-broking licence permits arranging currency transactions, not managing a fund. Money placed in a managed product therefore sits outside what the verified licence allows, which is why we advise particular caution with it.
What should I check before depositing with FOREXer?
Confirm Forexer Limited in the Labuan FSA Money Brokers directory yourself. Ask in writing which legal entity contracts with you and for its registration number. Ignore the New Zealand and Mauritius regulatory language. Deposit the minimum by card, withdraw a small amount early to prove the route works, and keep every receipt.
What do I do if I think I have been scammed by a broker?
Put your withdrawal request in writing and keep every record, including amounts, dates, ticket numbers and the names of anyone who contacted you. Complain to the regulator that licenses the firm, which here is the Labuan FSA. If you paid by card, ask your bank about a chargeback quickly, as time limits apply. Never pay a fee, tax or release charge to recover your own money, and be wary of anyone who offers to get it back for an upfront payment.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat FOREXer as a lightly regulated offshore broker and size your exposure accordingly.
- Check the licence yourself before depositing. Open the Labuan FSA Financial Institutions Directory, choose Money Brokers from the list filter, and confirm Forexer Limited is there. That takes a minute and is the one claim that holds up.
- Discount the other regulatory language. The New Zealand registration ended in 2017 and was never a licence. The Mauritius entity does not appear on the FSC Register of Licensees. Treat the phrase 'world-class supervisory entities' as marketing.
- Understand what the licence protects. A Labuan money-broking licence has no investor compensation scheme. If the firm fails or refuses to pay, there is no fund that reimburses you, and your practical recourse is a complaint to the Labuan FSA.
- Ask which company you are contracting with and get it in writing, with its registration number, before funding. The group advertises five entities in five countries and the main site names none of them as the counterparty.
- Keep deposits small and test a withdrawal early. Fund the minimum, trade briefly, then withdraw and confirm the money arrives before adding more.
- Fund by card or bank transfer and keep records. Card payments give you a chargeback route that crypto does not. Keep receipts, ticket numbers and the names of anyone who contacts you.
- Be cautious with the managed gold product. A money-broking licence does not cover fund management, so money placed in a managed product sits outside what the licence permits.
- If you are already stuck: put the withdrawal request in writing, complain to the Labuan FSA naming Forexer Limited and its licence, raise a chargeback with your card issuer if you paid by card, and never pay a fee, tax or release charge to get your own funds back.
