Independent safety report

Is FPM a scam?

High risk (unverified)MEDIUM confidence
Updated September 18, 2026
Unverified offshore broker, now defunct

Forex Price Market (FPM), at forexpricemarkets.com, is a high-risk offshore operation we could not verify as licensed: the Belize licence shown on its site does not appear on the regulator's own register, and the site itself is now offline.

  • The licence it advertised, IFSC/60/487/TS/19, is absent from the Belize Financial Services Commission register, which does list genuine Belize brokers such as Exness (Forexite Ltd), RoboForex Ltd and Xtrade International Ltd.
  • Its homepage displayed the company registration number 147906 as a 'License Number'. A company registration is not a financial licence and gives no client protection.
  • The domain was registered in 2016, has served no content since 2024, and has now lapsed into the expiry redemption period, so the website no longer loads.
  • A few users report being denied access to funds and profit, but the footprint is thin: there is no Trustpilot page and no regulator warning naming this exact operation.
  • We could not confirm this broker is safe, and we assess the risk of losing money as high.

Regulation

7/10 · High

The claimed Belize licence IFSC/60/487/TS/19 is absent from the FSC register and the site also passed off its company number as a licence; no valid regulation could be confirmed.

Identity & transparency

6/10 · High

The entity, Belize company number and address are disclosed, but the address is a registered-agent mail drop, ownership is not verifiable, and the site is now offline.

Withdrawals & conduct

4/10 · Moderate

Some users report no access to funds and profit, but the pattern is thin and unconfirmed, with no Trustpilot page and no regulator complaint record for this exact operation.

Reputation

6/10 · High

Third-party coverage is uniformly negative on an offshore, unregulated footing, but there is no documented mass-complaint pattern or warning-list entry.

Website claims

7/10 · High

The site presented a company registration number as a 'License Number', advertised an unverifiable IFSC licence, and claimed a 2014 start date that predates its own domain.

Operational history

6/10 · High

The domain dates to 2016 and the operation ran for several years, but the company could not be dated and the business now appears abandoned.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Brand: FPM (Forex Price Market)
  • Legal entity: Forex Price Market Ltd
  • Registered: New Horizon Building, Suite 105, 3 1/2 Miles Philip S.W. Goldson Highway, Belize City, Belize (a registered-agent address)
  • Website: forexpricemarkets.com (now offline; the domain has lapsed)
  • Licence claimed: Belize IFSC/60/487/TS/19 (not found on the FSC register)
  • Also shown as a licence: Belize company registration 147906 (a company number, not a licence)
  • Offers: forex and CFDs, a single account type, about 39 instruments, MetaTrader 4, leverage up to 1:500
  • Not accepted: residents of the USA, Sudan, Syria, North Korea and Vanuatu
  • Age claim: the site said 'Registered Date 2014/8/13' and carried a 2019 copyright, while the domain dates to 2016
FPM's own homepage (2024 archive) shows 'License Number: 147906', which is a company registration number rather than a licence.
FPM's own About page (2024 archive) claims license number IFSC/60/487/TS/19 and a 2014 registered date.

Regulation

Who really oversees this broker, and what each licence is worth to you.

No proof found

Proof of regulation on an official register: No

We could not confirm this broker on any genuine regulator’s register.

Licences the broker publishes

International Financial Services Commission of Belize (now the Financial Services Commission)

Not found on the Belize FSC current register; this old-format IFSC number is not confirmed to be in force.Tier 3
A Belize IFSC/FSC international securities-dealer style authorisation (category 60). Even when valid it is a low-tier offshore licence with little client protection, and this one does not appear on the Belize FSC current register.
Protection: Very low. Belize offshore licences carry no meaningful compensation scheme, and this licence is not confirmed to be in force.Official register

Belize company registration number presented as a licence

VerifiedNot a forex licenceLimited relevance
147906 is the firm's Belize company (International Business Company) registration number. A company registration is not a financial licence and gives no client protection; the site displayed it as a 'License Number'.
Protection: None. This is a corporate registration, not financial regulation.
Belize FSC register: a search for Forex Price returns no licensee, confirming Forex Price Market Ltd is not on the regulator's current register.
Belize FSC register: the only Forex-named Belize licensees are Forexite Ltd (Exness) and RoboForex Ltd; Forex Price Market Ltd is absent.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We rate FPM high risk because we could not confirm it was ever a properly licensed broker, and because it now looks abandoned.

  • The Belize FSC register lists current securities dealers, including Exness (Forexite Ltd), RoboForex Ltd and Xtrade International Ltd. A search for Forex Price returns no result, so IFSC/60/487/TS/19 is not in force there.
  • The number is an old pre-2023 IFSC format. Even if it was once issued, it is not shown as current on the regulator's own register today.
  • The site displayed its company registration number (147906) as a 'License Number'. A company registration is not permission to run a brokerage or to hold client money.
  • The website has served no new content since 2024 and the domain has now expired, so anyone with an open balance cannot reach the firm through its own site.
  • Some users report being unable to access their funds and profit. We could not fully verify these accounts, so we treat them as a warning sign rather than proof.
  • On balance we assess the risk of losing money here as high.

Note on operating history: the 10.2-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

In fairness, several points cut the other way:

  • The domain is genuinely old (registered 2016), and the operation appears to have run for several years, not a brand-new pop-up.
  • The broker is not on the Belize FSC warning list, and no regulator has published a named warning against this exact domain or entity.
  • It is not a clone. It uses its own name, its own Belize company number and its own address, rather than impersonating a regulated firm.
  • Belize reformed its financial regulator in 2023, so an older IFSC licence dropping off the current register is not, by itself, proof the licence was never real.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

We would revisit this rating if:

  • The Belize FSC register showed Forex Price Market Ltd as a current, active licensee.
  • The company produced dated proof that IFSC/60/487/TS/19 was issued and remains in force.
  • The website returned to normal operation and users confirmed that deposits and withdrawals work.
  • Conversely, a regulator warning naming forexpricemarkets.com, or a documented pattern of refused withdrawals, would push this toward a scam finding.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

12 questions
Is Forex Price Market (FPM) a scam?

We rate it high risk and could not verify it as legitimate. The Belize licence on its website is not on the regulator's register, it presented a company number as a licence, and the site is now offline. Treat it as unsafe until it can prove a valid, current licence.

Is FPM a fraud?

We found no regulator warning or court ruling that labels Forex Price Market a fraud. What we can say is that its Belize licence does not appear on the FSC register, the site presented a company number as a licence, the site is now offline, and some users report being unable to access their funds. On that basis we assess the risk of losing money as high, but that is our assessment, not a legal finding.

Is FPM regulated?

We could not confirm any valid regulation. The licence it advertised, IFSC/60/487/TS/19, is absent from the Belize Financial Services Commission register, where real Belize brokers are listed. No other regulator lists this firm.

Can I withdraw my money from FPM?

The company's own website is offline, which makes contact difficult. Some users report withdrawals not being processed. If you hold a balance, keep all records, request a card chargeback if you can, and report the firm to your regulator.

Is my money safe with FPM?

There is no evidence of client-money protection. Belize offshore licences carry no meaningful compensation scheme, and here even that licence could not be confirmed. We would not consider funds safe.

Who owns and runs FPM?

The site names Forex Price Market Ltd, a Belize company with registration number 147906, at a registered-agent address in Belize City. Beneficial ownership is not disclosed and could not be independently verified.

What is the IFSC/60/487/TS/19 licence worth?

On its face it is a low-tier Belize offshore authorisation, which gives clients little protection at the best of times. In this case it does not appear on the Belize FSC current register at all, so it cannot be relied on.

Is 147906 a licence?

No. 147906 is the firm's Belize company registration number. A company registration only means an entity exists on paper. It is not a financial licence and does not permit taking client deposits for trading.

Is FPM a clone of another broker?

No. It uses its own name and Belize company details rather than copying a regulated firm. Note it is a different company from FP Markets (fpmarkets.com), a large regulated Australian broker. Do not confuse the two.

How old is FPM?

Its domain was registered in 2016 and it appears to have operated for several years. The site claimed a 2014 start date, which predates the domain and its own 2019 copyright, so the exact age claim is unreliable.

Why is the FPM website down?

The domain forexpricemarkets.com has lapsed into the expiry redemption period, so it no longer loads. The site had already stopped changing after 2024, which suggests the operation was wound down or abandoned.

What should I do if I was scammed by FPM?

Collect your evidence, contact your bank about a chargeback, and report the firm to the Belize FSC and your local regulator. Do not pay anyone who promises to recover your money for an upfront fee, as that is a common follow-up scam.

Our advice

If you are considering FPM, or already have money with it:

  • Do not send new money. There is no confirmed licence and the firm's own site is offline.
  • If you hold a balance, gather your records now: deposits, statements, emails and any account-manager names.
  • If you deposited by card, ask your bank or card provider about a chargeback, and keep evidence of every withdrawal request.
  • Report the matter to the Belize Financial Services Commission and to your local financial regulator.
  • Be wary of anyone who contacts you offering to recover your funds for an upfront fee. Recovery scams target former clients of failed brokers.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears. Review scores are treated with caution when a broker’s reviews look manipulated. Last reviewed September 18, 2026.
