Finding

An offshore 'International Brokerage and Clearing House' registration from an autonomous-island registrar that the Comoros central bank has described as a fabricated body with no power to license financial firms. It is not meaningful financial regulation. Client protection: None. No deposit insurance or investor-protection scheme.. Effective: 23 Jan 2024. Expires: 23 Jan 2026.

Verification note

FundingPips Corp presents licence number BFX2024004, described on its own website as an International Brokerage and Clearing House Licence granted under the Mwali IBC Regulation Act 2014 of the Autonomous Island of Mwali, Comoros Union. The authorisation it claims is broad, covering currency trading, securities brokerage, financial advisory, asset and fund management, custody, clearing, payment processing and securities underwriting. Two things a reader should separate: the operator also quotes company number HY01223081, which is a company registration and confers no permission to hold client money or deal in foreign exchange. The licence itself could not be confirmed as existing or in force. The operator's site names the Act and the number but never the authority that issued them, publishes no certificate and offers no verification link, and the authority concerned maintains no public licence lookup through which a prospective client could check the claim independently. It is therefore recorded as claimed and unconfirmed rather than held. This authority sits at the weakest end of the regulatory spectrum: it does not supervise retail foreign-exchange conduct, impose client-money segregation, operate a compensation scheme or provide an independent complaints route, so even a confirmed licence of this class would give a client little practical recourse.

MISA is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Questions about this licence

Answered from this register entry and the authority’s own record.

Most Popular Questions

No protection is published. Nothing on the site commits FundingPips Corp to holding client money separately from its own funds, and the offshore authority it names operates no compensation or client fund insurance scheme. On the published material, a client's deposit would rank as an ordinary claim against the company.

There is no published route. The site sets out no complaints procedure, no dispute resolution process and no governing law, and its customer agreement covers only termination and liability. The authority named in its licence claim provides no independent complaints mechanism and no compensation scheme, so a client in dispute would have no regulator or ombudsman to escalate to.

By email at info@fundingpips.net or by telephone. Support is advertised as 24/5, and there is no live chat, help centre, ticket portal or social media account. Note that the telephone number printed in the footer, +971 45768545, is not the number its own dial link calls, so a caller may not reach the advertised line.

The site states only who it refuses: FundingPips Corp does not accept applications from residents of the United States, Canada or Iran. It publishes no list of accepted countries, and its sign up page has no country selector, so there is no way to check from the site whether a given country is served. Readers should also treat the United States block as covering US territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam, which the site does not mention.

The site does not commit to a timeframe. Its homepage advertises same day withdrawals and immediate funding in general marketing terms, but no processing time is published for any individual payment channel and the customer agreement contains no withdrawal clause at all. The anti money laundering policy adds that a request flagged as suspicious is held pending an internal investigation, with no stated time limit.

FundingPips publishes no deposits and withdrawals page. Cards, cryptocurrency, the Indian UPI rail and African mobile and bank payment channels are recorded as available in both directions, but no fee, minimum, maximum or processing time is published for any of them. The anti money laundering policy does require that money is returned by the method it arrived on and to the account holder on file, and that cash and third party deposits are refused.

MetaTrader 5 only, with builds for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android plus the MetaTrader web terminal. The downloads page links the standard installers published by the platform's developer rather than a FundingPips build, and no server name or account server address appears anywhere on the site, so a client cannot see which server their account would sit on before opening it.

The cost cannot be worked out from what the site publishes. Commission is quoted as 3.50 USD one way on ECN, 2.50 USD one way on ECN Plus and Islamic and nothing on Standard STP, but the site never says what traded volume those amounts apply to. Spread claims also conflict: 0.1 pip in the homepage headline, as low as 0 pips in the markets section, and from 0.0 or 1.0 pip on the account cards. No swap or inactivity fee schedule is published.

Yes. The Islamic account is advertised as letting positions be held over days without swap charges, priced at 2.50 USD one way with spreads from 1.0 pip. The site does not publish any administration fee, holding period limit or instrument restriction that might apply to it.

Up to 500:1. That figure is advertised across the site with no lower cap published for any account type, instrument class or country. At 500:1 a position can be wiped out by a very small move against it, and the site does not say whether negative balance protection applies.

100 USD. The site states that a trader can start with 100 USD and trade with as little as that amount. It sets no separate minimum for any of its four account tiers, so the same figure applies whichever one is chosen.

The site names FundingPips Corp as the operating company, described as a limited liability company of the Comoros Union with company number HY01223081 and a registered address on the island of Moheli. No directors, shareholders, officers or parent company are disclosed anywhere, and the company itself could not be corroborated on an official register.

Nothing established in this review proves fraud, and nothing in it supports treating FundingPips as a licensed broker either. The honest position is unverified: its licence claim cannot be checked, its operating company does not appear on a register, and its customer agreement is incomplete. Several of its published claims are also demonstrably wrong, including an anti money laundering policy that cites Australian legislation inapplicable to a Comoros company.

No confirmed regulation was found. FundingPips claims one licence, number BFX2024004, described on its own site as an International Brokerage and Clearing House Licence under the Comoros IBC Regulation Act 2014, and that claim could not be confirmed as existing or in force. The site names no issuing authority, publishes no certificate and offers no verification link, and it names no licence from any authority that supervises retail foreign exchange in a major market.

Licence BFX2024004 was issued by Moroni International Services Authority (MISA), the financial authority for Comoros.
FundingPips holds this MISA licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
No. This licence is no longer in force, or the MISA register did not carry it when we looked. It is kept on record because a closed registration is part of a firm’s history.
Wikilix rates MISA tier 4, the lowest band. A registration here says little on its own about client protection.
Yes, MISA is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
This page links straight to the MISA register. Search it for BFX2024004, and for the name FundingPips rather than the trading brand.
