Is FxOnUs a scam?

Confirmed scamHIGH confidence
Updated September 2, 2026
Unlicensed offshore broker, regulator-warned

Yes, FxOnUs is a scam. It is an unlicensed offshore broker (MarketOnUs Ltd) that Spain, Poland and Russia have all publicly warned against, and its website is now dead.

  • It holds no financial licence. The only registration is a Marshall Islands company number (81547), which is not a forex licence, and it has now been annulled.
  • Three regulators named it: Spain's CNMV (26 Oct 2020), the Bank of Russia (19 Nov 2021) and Poland's KNF, which referred it to a Warsaw prosecutor as a suspected crime.
  • Clients report blocked accounts and refused withdrawals; a review page shows just 1.2 out of 5 across 136 reviews.
  • The site fxonus.com no longer works and the company is defunct. Former clients are now being targeted by 'recovery' scams.
  • Do not deposit. There is no regulator standing behind this broker to help you recover funds.

Worst area: Critical

Regulation

10/10 · Critical

No financial licence at all; only an annulled Marshall Islands company registration; CNMV, KNF and Bank of Russia warning-list hits naming fxonus.com.

Identity & transparency

6/10 · High

The offshore entity is disclosed and matches the registry, but it uses a registered-agent address and misleading 'UK Heritage' branding with a UK phone and no UK entity or authorization.

Withdrawals & conduct

7/10 · High

Reports of blocked accounts and refused withdrawals (fund access); reviews.io shows 1.2/5 across 136 reviews; recovery scams now target former clients; individual transactional detail was limited.

Reputation

9/10 · Critical

Warned by regulators in three countries, widely labelled a scam, overwhelmingly negative reviews, and a recovery-scam ecosystem built on its victims.

Website claims

7/10 · High

Claimed not to serve the EU while running a Spanish-language site and soliciting EU residents; 'secure client funds' claims from an unlicensed shell; 200% bonuses and call-center offers.

Operational history

3/10 · Low

Genuine roughly 10-year footprint (domain 2015, entity 2016, both verified), but the operation is now defunct and the company was annulled in January 2025.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Brand: FxOnUs
  • Legal entity: MarketOnUs Limited (Marshall Islands company no. 81547, incorporated 7 Jan 2016, status Annulled since 7 Jan 2025)
  • Registered: Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, MH96960 Majuro, Marshall Islands (a standard offshore registered-agent address)
  • Website: fxonus.com (now offline) plus the client portal panel.fxonus.com
  • Only licence: None. A Marshall Islands company registration only, which is not financial regulation
  • Offers: Forex, plus CFDs on metals, indices, shares, commodities, futures and crypto; PAMM and managed accounts; deposit bonuses up to 200%
  • Not accepted: The site claimed not to serve the EU, USA, Japan, Australia or North Korea, yet ran a Spanish-language section and was warned for soliciting EU residents
  • Age claim: 'Since 2016'; the domain dates to December 2015, so the history is genuine, but the business is now defunct
Archived FxOnUs homepage (January 2021): 200% bonuses, a 'Special offer for Call Centers' and 'UK Heritage' branding, with a footer citing only Marshall Islands company registration 81547 and no financial regulator.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We reach a confirmed-scam verdict because independent regulators in three countries reached the same conclusion, and the operation had no licence to hold anyone's money.

  • Spain's CNMV listed FXONUS, MARKETONUS LTD and fxonus.com among unauthorised entities on 26 October 2020.
  • The Bank of Russia added MarketOnUS Ltd and the domains fxonus.com and panel.fxonus.com to its warning list on 19 November 2021 for signs of an illegal securities-market participant.
  • Poland's KNF entered MarketOnUs Ltd (www.fxonus.com) on its public warning list and referred the matter to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw as a suspected crime of running a brokerage without authorization.
  • There is no financial licence anywhere. The Marshall Islands issues company registrations, not forex licences, and even that registration is now annulled.
  • The archived site pushed 200% bonuses, a 'Special offer for Call Centers' and a 'UK Heritage' image with a UK phone number, the classic look of an unlicensed sales operation, while telling clients their funds were 'kept safe in bank accounts'.
  • Clients report blocked accounts and refused withdrawals, and former clients are now being approached by recovery-fee scams.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

In fairness, we tested the innocent explanations before concluding.

  • A regional arm of a regulated group? No. It is a standalone Marshall Islands shell with no tier-1 or tier-2 parent, and no regulator lists it as authorized.
  • A warning about a different, similarly named firm? No. All three regulators name the exact domain fxonus.com and the entity MarketOnUs Ltd, which matches the company we investigated.
  • Is the company registration real? Yes. The Marshall Islands entity (81547, MarketOnUs Limited) genuinely exists and was incorporated in 2016. But a company registration is not a financial licence, and it has since been annulled.
  • Does the long history help? The domain dates to 2015 and the company to 2016, so this was an established operation, not a brand-new site. That makes the regulator warnings and withdrawal complaints more serious, not less.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

This verdict would change only if the core facts were different.

  • A genuine, in-force licence from a real financial regulator (for example the FCA, CySEC or ASIC) held by MarketOnUs Ltd for fxonus.com and verifiable on that regulator's own register.
  • The CNMV, KNF and Bank of Russia removing their warnings against this entity and domain.
  • Proof that the three warnings actually refer to a different company, not MarketOnUs Ltd / fxonus.com.
  • None of these exist today, and the business is defunct, so the confirmed-scam finding stands.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

12 questions
Is FxOnUs a scam?

Yes. It is an unlicensed offshore broker that Spain, Poland and Russia have publicly warned against, and its website is now offline. There is no regulator standing behind it and clients report being unable to withdraw.

Is FxOnUs a fraud?

We do not state that as a legal finding, but we assess the risk as high. Poland's KNF referred MarketOnUs Ltd to a Warsaw prosecutor as a suspected crime of unauthorized brokerage, and clients report money taken and withdrawals refused. Treat it as an operation to avoid entirely.

Is FxOnUs regulated?

No. It holds no financial licence. A Marshall Islands company registration is not regulation, and the Marshall Islands does not license or supervise forex brokers.

Can I withdraw my money from FxOnUs?

In practice, no. The website no longer works, the company is defunct, and clients reported blocked accounts and refused withdrawals while it was operating.

Is my money safe with FxOnUs?

No. There is no regulator, no compensation scheme and no segregated-account protection. Any deposit is effectively unprotected.

Who owns FxOnUs?

The brand belongs to MarketOnUs Limited, a company registered in the Marshall Islands (number 81547, incorporated 2016), whose registration is now annulled.

How old is FxOnUs?

The domain was registered in December 2015 and the company in January 2016, so it ran for several years before going dark. It is not a new brand; it is a collapsed one.

What is a Marshall Islands registration worth for a broker?

Very little. It confirms a company exists, not that it is licensed or supervised to take client funds. It gives you no protection if something goes wrong.

Did any regulator warn about FxOnUs?

Yes, three. Spain's CNMV (26 Oct 2020), the Bank of Russia (19 Nov 2021) and Poland's KNF each named fxonus.com, and KNF involved a criminal prosecutor.

Is FxOnUs a clone of another broker?

No. It is its own unlicensed operation, not an impersonation of a regulated firm. That is why we did not classify it as a clone.

Someone offered to recover my FxOnUs money for a fee. Should I pay?

No. Recovery-fee offers targeting former FxOnUs clients are a follow-up scam. No legitimate service guarantees recovery in exchange for an upfront payment.

What should I check before depositing with any broker?

Confirm a real licence on the regulator's own register, search the warning lists for the domain, and be wary of large bonuses, call-center sales pitches and offshore-only registration.

Our advice

If you are a client or a prospective client:

  • Do not deposit any money with FxOnUs, or with any site reviving the FxOnUs or MarketOnUs name.
  • If you already deposited, stop sending funds, especially any 'tax', 'fee' or 'verification' payment demanded before a withdrawal is released.
  • Ignore anyone who contacts you offering to recover your FxOnUs money for an upfront fee. That is a second scam targeting the same victims.
  • Report your loss to your local financial regulator, and if you paid by card or bank transfer, ask your bank about a chargeback or payment recall.
  • Keep your records: deposit receipts, account-manager names, chat logs and transaction IDs.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears. Review scores are treated with caution when a broker’s reviews look manipulated. Last reviewed September 2, 2026.
