Regulation
10/10 · CriticalNo financial licence in any register while taking client deposits, plus warning entries from three national regulators and a criminal referral in Poland.
Identity & transparency
7/10 · HighThe company and address were genuine and matched the registry, which we credit, but no owners or officers were ever named, the entity name drifted, and the 2024 site removed the registered address while claiming to be regulated.
Withdrawals & conduct
5/10 · ModerateTwo second-hand reports of deposits not returned, but zero reviews on Trustpilot and ForexPeaceArmy and no time-clustered, checkable pattern, so the fund-integrity picture is unconfirmed.
Reputation
9/10 · CriticalThree regulator listings, a prosecutor referral, uniformly negative independent assessments, a 1.2 out of 5 aggregate rating, and a swarm of recovery-scam posts attached to the domain.
Website claims
9/10 · CriticalThe 2024 homepage advertised itself as secure and regulated while naming no authority or licence number, and its terms claimed to exclude the European Union while it ran Spanish, German, French and Italian sales pages.
Operational history
3/10 · LowRoughly nine years of verified history from primary records, with the domain and company dates consistent with the advertised 2016 origin, though the operation ended in annulment and abandonment.
Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.
- Brand: FxOnUs, later restyled Market On Us
- Legal entity: MarketOnUs Limited, a Marshall Islands corporation, entity number 81547, annulled on 7 January 2025
- Registered: Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, MH96960 Majuro, Marshall Islands
- Website: fxonus.com, which no longer resolves; a client area ran at panel.fxonus.com
- Only licence: none. No financial regulator anywhere authorised this operation. The company number 81547 is an incorporation record, not a trading licence
- Offers: forex, commodities, indices and CFDs on MetaTrader 4 and 5, leverage to 1:500, a 50 percent deposit bonus, minimum deposit advertised from 50 to 100 US dollars
- Not accepted: its 2019 terms claimed to exclude residents of the United States, North Korea, Japan, Australia and the European Union, yet it ran Spanish, German, French and Italian sales pages and a London telephone number
- Age claim: a 2016 copyright notice, which matches the record. The domain dates to 8 December 2015 and the company to 7 January 2016

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Three separate national regulators independently reached the same conclusion about this exact company and this exact website, and we confirmed each one on the regulator's own published list.
- Spain. The CNMV register of warned companies carries an entry dated 26 October 2020 naming FXONUS, MARKETONUS LTD and HTTPS://FXONUS.COM/ES/ as not registered and therefore not authorised to provide investment services.
- Russia. The Bank of Russia list of entities with detected signs of illegal activity in the financial market carries an entry dated 19 November 2021 for MarketOnUS Ltd and FxOnUs, citing signs of an illegal professional securities market participant, and naming both fxonus.com and panel.fxonus.com.
- Poland. Entry 239 on the KNF public warning list names MarketOnUs Ltd at Ajeltake Road, Majuro, Marshall Islands, website fxonus.com, records that the entity is not registered in Poland, and shows a referral to the Warsaw Regional Prosecutor under article 178 of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments. That is a criminal referral, not just a caution.
- No licence existed to rebut them. We searched for a financial authorisation and found none. The operation never named a regulator on its own site. Its sole published credential was Marshall Islands company number 81547, and a company registration is not financial supervision.
- It then claimed regulation anyway. By early 2024 the rebranded Market On Us homepage advertised itself as secure and regulated, without naming a single authority or licence number. That statement was simply false, and three regulators had already said so.
- It sold into markets it had no permission to touch. The site ran Spanish, German, French, Italian, Vietnamese, Chinese and Arabic versions and published a London telephone number, while its own terms claimed it did not serve the European Union. The Spanish page is the very address the CNMV warned about.
- The company behind it is gone. The Marshall Islands registry shows entity 81547, MarketOnUs Limited, with status Annulled and an annulment date of 7 January 2025, under an explicit note that the record is not a statement of good standing. The domain no longer resolves and the review profile was closed because the website shut down.
Two independent findings of this weight are enough for a scam verdict under our rules. We have three, plus a criminal referral, plus a false claim of regulation. The published figure of 90 percent reflects that.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1Spain's CNMV register of warned companies carries an entry dated 26 October 2020 listing FXONUS, MARKETONUS LTD and HTTPS://FXONUS.COM/ES/ as an unauthorised entity not registered with the Commission. Names both the legal entity and the exact domain.
Hard proofCNMV, Search Engine for Warned CompaniesE2The Bank of Russia list of entities with detected signs of illegal activity in the financial market carries an entry dated 19 November 2021 for MarketOnUS Ltd and FxOnUs, with the finding recorded as signs of an illegal professional securities market participant, and the websites given as fxonus.com and panel.fxonus.com.
E3Entry 239 of the KNF Poland public warning list names MarketOnUs Ltd at Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, MH 96960 Majuro, Marshall Islands, website fxonus.com, records that the entity is not registered in Poland, and shows the case referred to the Warsaw Regional Prosecutor under article 178 of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments.
Hard proofKNF, public warning listE4The Marshall Islands corporate registry shows entity number 81547, MarketOnUs Limited, type Corporation, status Annulled, existence date 7 January 2016 and annulment date 7 January 2025, displayed under an explicit note that the record is not a statement of good standing. The claimed operating company no longer legally exists.
E5The February 2024 homepage of the rebranded Market On Us advertised the operation as secure and regulated with 24/7 support, and claimed segregated client accounts and Tier 1 bank liquidity, while naming no regulator and no licence number anywhere on the page. Three regulators had already recorded it as unauthorised.
E6The 2019 site published a London telephone number, plus English, Arabic, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, Persian and Nigerian language versions, while its own footer stated the company does not offer services to residents of the United States, North Korea, Japan, the European Union and Australia. It solicited clients in jurisdictions it admitted it could not serve, and the Spanish page is the one Spain warned about.
E7The 2019 site presented Marshall Islands company registration number 81547 as its only credential, with no regulator or licence named anywhere, confirming the operation took deposits for margined forex trading without ever claiming a financial licence.
E8The domain fxonus.com no longer resolves. Registry records show it was created on 8 December 2015 through GoDaddy and is still held until 2027, but its nameserver delegation is broken, so the operation has been abandoned rather than formally wound down.
E9The Trustpilot profile for fxonus.com holds zero reviews and has been closed to new reviews on the stated ground that the company website has closed. The profile also carries a high-risk investment notice.
E10An independent review platform shows 136 entries for fxonus.com averaging 1.2 out of 5 with a 4 percent recommendation rate, but the content is dominated by posts promoting third party fund recovery services rather than describing the broker. That is the victim-harvesting pattern that follows a collapsed operation, and we did not count it as genuine complaint evidence.
E11Financial trade press reported in March 2017 that Malta's MFSA warned that FxOnUs was not licensed or authorised to provide investment services under Maltese law, and observed that the site appeared to lean on the details of a United Kingdom registered company. We could not locate that notice on the MFSA site today and could not identify the United Kingdom company, so this is recorded as reported but unverified.
E12The Marshall Islands registry entry for entity 81547 matches the company name and number the website published, at the same Majuro address. This operation used its own genuine identity rather than borrowing a regulated firm's licence, entity or brand, so it is not a clone and no identity misuse was found.
E13The domain was registered on 8 December 2015 and the company incorporated on 7 January 2016, giving a verified operating history of about nine years that is consistent with the 2016 copyright notice on the site. The broker did not overstate its age.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
We looked for the innocent explanation before settling on this verdict. Here is the fairest case that can be made, and where it fails.
- This was a real business, not a fresh shell. That much is true and we credit it. The domain was registered in December 2015 and the company genuinely incorporated in January 2016, both confirmed from primary records. It ran for roughly nine years. This is not a throwaway site built last month.
- The company really existed and was honestly disclosed. Also true. Entity 81547 is on the Marshall Islands registry under the same name the site published, at the same address the site published. There is no impersonation here, no borrowed licence number and no cloned brand. It is not pretending to be someone else.
- Offshore registration alone is not fraud. Correct, and we do not treat it as such. Hundreds of brokers operate on weak offshore paperwork without being scams. What condemns this one is that it had no financial licence at all, in any jurisdiction, while taking client deposits, and then advertised itself as regulated.
- Could the warnings be about a different firm? No. Each one names the legal entity MarketOnUs and the domain fxonus.com, and the Polish entry adds the exact Majuro street address. The identity match is direct, not by brand name.
- Is the complaint record actually thin? Yes, and we say so plainly. Trustpilot holds zero reviews and ForexPeaceArmy has none either. We found only two second-hand accounts of money not coming back. We did not establish a proven pattern of withdrawal refusal, and we have not scored one. The verdict rests on the regulators and the absent licence, not on complaint volume.
- We rejected evidence that was not theirs. Search results for this broker are contaminated by a similarly named operation at fxnovus.com, whose reviews describe demands for extra payments to release funds. That is a different website and we excluded all of it. None of those allegations are counted against FxOnUs.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
This verdict is unusually well anchored, but it is falsifiable. Any of the following would force us to revisit it.
- Spain's CNMV, the Bank of Russia and Poland's KNF each withdrawing their entries for MarketOnUs and fxonus.com, on the basis that the listings were made in error.
- A genuine trading licence for MarketOnUs Limited, or for whichever entity actually held client money, appearing on a real financial regulator's register with an effective date covering the years the site was operating.
- Evidence that the Warsaw prosecutor's file was closed with a finding that no offence occurred.
- Documentation showing the Marshall Islands annulment on 7 January 2025 was administrative and has since been reversed, together with a named successor entity that has taken responsibility for client balances.
- Credible confirmation that former clients were paid out in full when the site closed. Evidence of an orderly wind-down with returned funds would change the character of the case considerably.
- Proof that the 2024 statement about being secure and regulated referred to a specific authorisation we simply failed to find.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is FxOnUs a scam?
Yes. We rate it a confirmed scam at 90 percent risk. It accepted client deposits for forex trading for around nine years with no financial licence anywhere, and three national regulators formally named this company and this website as operating illegally. Poland went further and referred it to a criminal prosecutor.
Is FxOnUs regulated by anyone?
No. We searched for an authorisation and found none. The site never named a regulator. Its only published credential was Marshall Islands company number 81547, which is an incorporation record, not permission to run a brokerage or hold client money.
Which regulators have warned about FxOnUs?
Spain's CNMV on 26 October 2020, the Bank of Russia on 19 November 2021, and Poland's KNF, whose entry 239 also records a referral to the Warsaw Regional Prosecutor. Financial trade press additionally reported a 2017 warning from Malta's MFSA, though we could not open that notice on the MFSA site today.
Can I still withdraw my money from FxOnUs?
Almost certainly not through the platform. The website no longer resolves and the client area at panel.fxonus.com is gone. The operating company was annulled in January 2025, so there is no longer a legal entity to make a claim against. Your realistic options are a bank or card chargeback and a report to your national regulator or police.
Was my money ever safe with FxOnUs?
No. The 2024 site claimed client funds sat in segregated accounts, but no regulator ever supervised or audited that claim. Without a licence there is no capital requirement, no independent audit of client money, no compensation scheme and no ombudsman. There was never any enforceable protection.
Who owned and ran FxOnUs?
The published operator was MarketOnUs Limited, a Marshall Islands corporation, entity number 81547, registered at Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, Majuro. No directors, owners or executives were ever named on the website, and we could not identify the people behind it. The site was built and maintained by a Polish web agency, and Poland is where the criminal referral was made.
How old was FxOnUs?
Genuinely about nine years old. The domain was registered on 8 December 2015 and the company incorporated on 7 January 2016, both confirmed from primary records. Unlike many scam sites it did not fake its age. Longevity is not the same as legitimacy here, since it operated unlicensed throughout.
What is a Marshall Islands company registration worth for a broker?
Nothing, as far as your protection goes. It confirms a company was formed and an annual fee paid. It involves no financial supervision, no check on how client money is handled and no recourse if funds vanish. Presenting it as a credential, as this site did, is misleading.
Is FxOnUs a clone of a real regulated broker?
No. This is not a clone. It used its own name and its own genuine company registration, which we verified matches the registry exactly. It did not borrow another firm's licence number, entity name or brand. Its offence was operating with no licence at all and then claiming to be regulated.
Why are there so few complaints if it is a scam?
Trustpilot holds zero reviews and ForexPeaceArmy has none. We report that honestly. The verdict does not rest on complaints, it rests on the regulator warnings and the missing licence. A thin review record often reflects a broker that targeted specific countries through phone sales rather than one that treated clients well.
What does the annulment of the company in January 2025 mean?
It means the Marshall Islands registrar cancelled the company's registration on 7 January 2025, so MarketOnUs Limited no longer legally exists. The registry displays it under an explicit note that the record is not a statement of good standing. Any site still trading under this name or number today has no company behind it.
Someone has offered to recover my FxOnUs losses. Should I pay them?
No. The review page for this domain is flooded with posts promoting third party recovery services, which is a classic follow up scam aimed at people who already lost money. Never pay an upfront fee to recover funds. Go to your bank, your national regulator and the police instead, all of which are free.
What should I check before depositing with any broker?
Find the licence number on the broker's own site, then look it up on the regulator's public register yourself and confirm the entity name and website match. Check whether the regulator is a real national authority rather than a company registry. Search the regulator warning lists for the exact domain. If any of those steps fails, do not deposit.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat this as a total loss risk and do not send money to any site trading under this name.
- Do not deposit. There is no regulator standing behind this operation, so there is no compensation scheme, no ombudsman and no supervisory body that can order your money returned.
- If you already deposited, contact your bank or card issuer immediately and ask about a chargeback or recall. Card payments and bank transfers sometimes have recovery windows.
- Report it. Clients in Poland can reference entry 239 on the KNF public warning list and the Warsaw Regional Prosecutor referral. Clients in Spain can report to the CNMV, and in Russia to the Bank of Russia, both of which already list this firm.
- Gather your records now: deposit receipts, account statements, the names your account manager used, and any messaging history. Do this before more of the infrastructure disappears.
- Be very careful about fund recovery offers. The review page for this domain is overrun with posts promoting third party recovery services. Those are a well known follow up scam that targets people who have already lost money. No legitimate firm asks for an upfront fee to retrieve your funds.
- If anyone contacts you claiming to represent this broker, a successor brand or a compensation programme, treat it as fraud. The company was annulled in January 2025 and no longer legally exists.
This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears. Review scores are treated with caution when a broker’s reviews look manipulated. Last reviewed September 2, 2026.
