Finding

Bahamas securities firm registration for FxPro Global Markets Ltd to deal in capital market instruments as agent or principal and trade CFDs. This is the offshore company FxPro uses for clients outside the UK and EU. The Commission's list prints no licence number; SIA-F184 is the number FxPro publishes. Client protection: Limited: offshore supervision with weaker client protections than the UK or EU, and no UK or EU compensation scheme.

SCB is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Most Popular Questions

Yes, for clients who need one for religious reasons. FxPro's accounts FAQ says a swap-free account can be requested from backoffice@fxpro.com, and that fees may be charged once trades on certain instruments have stayed open for a set number of days.

FxPro says it does not offer CFDs to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the United States, Iran and Canada, and that further restrictions may apply under local rules. Its account registration form also offers no FxPro company to residents of US territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam, or of North Korea, Cuba, Spain, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, South Sudan, Vanuatu and a few other places.

It depends on where you live. FXPRO Financial Services Ltd in Cyprus serves FxPro's European clients and FXPRO UK Limited its UK clients, while FxPro Global Markets Ltd in The Bahamas is the company FxPro uses for clients outside the UK and the EU. The company named in your account documents decides which regulator, leverage limits and client protections apply.

FxPro is run by a group of companies under its parent, FxPro Group Ltd. The companies FxPro names are FXPRO Financial Services Ltd in Cyprus, FXPRO UK Limited in the United Kingdom, FxPro Global Markets Ltd in The Bahamas and Prime Ash Capital Limited in Mauritius, which FxPro's privacy policy says trades as FxPro. The Cyprus Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property lists FXPRO Financial Services Ltd under number HE 181344, incorporated on 31 July 2006, as checked on 27 October 2026, and FxPro gives Companies House number 06925128 for FXPRO UK Limited.

Clients of FXPRO Financial Services Ltd send formal complaints by email to compliance@fxpro.com. FxPro acknowledges a complaint within 5 days with a reference number and answers within 2 months, or 3 months at most. A client who is not satisfied can then take it to the Financial Ombudsman of the Republic of Cyprus within 4 months of the final response.

FxPro's support team works 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, by live chat on its website and in the FxPro App, by email at support@fxpro.com, by phone and through a call-back request. FxPro says it helps clients in more than 20 languages, and its London office lists +44 (0) 203 151 5550.

FxPro offers CFDs on forex, metals, indices, energy, futures and cryptocurrencies, and CFDs on shares and ETFs through MetaTrader 5. UK residents can also open spread betting accounts with FXPRO UK Limited.

FxPro processes withdrawal requests within one working day, usually within a few hours during working hours. The money then takes the payment channel's own time: usually within a working day for e-wallets, up to 2 working days for SEPA and local transfers (another FxPro help answer says usually the same business day), 3 to 5 working days for international wires and around 10 working days for cards.

FxPro charges no fee of its own on deposits or withdrawals, with one exception: a withdrawal to Neteller, Skrill or PayPal requested without having traded can cost up to 2%, 2.6% or 2.7% respectively. Banks, intermediaries and card issuers may charge their own fees, and deposits are credited net of them.

Yes. Under the Client Agreement of FXPRO Financial Services Ltd, a trading account with no open positions and no trades for 6 months is charged 10 USD a month, or its remaining balance if that is below 10 USD.

FxPro's EU site lists two accounts. The Standard account runs on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and FxPro's own platforms, with all-inclusive spreads from 1.2 pips on major forex pairs and no commission; the cTrader account runs on cTrader and TradingView and adds a commission of 35 USD per 1 million USD traded on forex and metals. Clients who fund 50,000 USD or trade large volumes can join FxPro's VIP programme, which cuts spreads or commissions by up to 30%, and swap-free accounts are available for religious reasons on request.

For retail clients of FXPRO Financial Services Ltd, FxPro's EU company, maximum leverage is 1:30 on major forex pairs, 1:20 on minor pairs, gold and major indices, 1:10 on other metals, minor indices, energies and commodity futures, 1:5 on shares and ETFs and 1:2 on cryptocurrencies. FxPro applies dynamic leverage, so the maximum falls as a client's volume in an instrument rises. Clients accepted as professional are not bound by the retail limits, and FxPro says trading conditions differ by jurisdiction.

FxPro says its standard account has no fixed minimum deposit, and it recommends a first deposit of 1,000 USD. In practice the payment method sets the minimum: card, Neteller, Skrill and PayPal deposits start at 100 in USD, EUR, GBP, CHF or AUD (400 PLN or 10,000 JPY), while FxPro publishes no minimum for bank wire deposits.

On its EU site, FxPro accepts bank wire, SEPA and other local bank transfers, Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards, Neteller, PayPal and, in certain countries only, Skrill. FxPro says the methods available depend on the client's country and jurisdiction and are shown in FxPro Direct. Money passes through the FxPro Wallet, and withdrawals go back to the original funding source first, starting with recent card deposits.

FxPro offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, each for Windows, Mac, web, iOS and Android, plus its own FxPro WebTrader (FxPro Edge), which gives web access to MT4 and MT5 accounts, and the FxPro Mobile App for iOS and Android. An FxPro cTrader account can also be connected to TradingView free of charge. The Standard account trades on MetaTrader and FxPro's own platforms, and the cTrader account on cTrader and TradingView.

Yes. FXPRO Financial Services Ltd holds Cyprus Investment Firm licence 078/07 from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), and FXPRO UK Limited is authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under firm reference number 509956; both were confirmed on the regulators' registers on 27 October 2026. FxPro Global Markets Ltd is on the list of registered firms of the Securities Commission of The Bahamas, which prints no licence number (FxPro gives SIA-F184), and the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius lists Prime Ash Capital Limited, which FxPro's privacy policy says trades as FxPro, under Investment Dealer licence GB21026568. Eligible retail clients of the Cyprus company may claim from Cyprus's Investor Compensation Fund, up to 20,000 EUR, and eligible clients of the UK company from the FSCS, up to 85,000 GBP; clients of the Bahamas and Mauritius companies have no UK or EU compensation scheme, and FxPro says negative balance protection applies to every client.

Licence SIA-F184 was issued by The Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SCB), the financial authority for Bahamas.
FxPro holds this SCB licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.

Wikilix rates SCB tier 3. Supervision is lighter-touch and client protections vary.
Yes, SCB is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
This page links straight to the SCB register. Search it for SIA-F184, and for the name FxPro rather than the trading brand.
