FxPro Broker Overview
FxPro is a forex and CFD broker that gives 2006 as its founding year and is run by a group of companies under FxPro Group Ltd. Its UK company, FXPRO UK Limited, is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and its Cyprus company, FXPRO Financial Services Ltd, by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), both confirmed on the regulators' registers, while its companies in The Bahamas and Mauritius appear on the registers of their local regulators. It offers CFDs on forex, metals, indices, energy, futures and cryptocurrencies, plus shares and ETFs on MetaTrader 5, through MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradingView and its own FxPro WebTrader and mobile app. Trading terms differ by jurisdiction; the figures below are those FxPro publishes for clients of FXPRO Financial Services Ltd, its EU company.
FxPro Regulation and License
FXPRO Financial Services Ltd holds Cyprus Investment Firm licence 078/07 from CySEC, effective since 5 March 2007. When the CySEC register was checked on 27 October 2026, it listed the company as an authorised Cyprus Investment Firm for services including order execution, dealing on own account, portfolio management and investment advice, with cross-border services into other European countries, and gave its previous name as Euroorient Securities and Financial Services Ltd.
FXPRO UK Limited is authorised by the FCA under firm reference number 509956, effective since 10 September 2010, and the FCA register gives its Companies House number as 06925128. The register, checked on 27 October 2026, shows the firm as Authorised to deal in investments as principal, limited to matched principal broking, and as agent, to arrange deals and to safeguard client assets, for retail and professional clients, in contracts for difference, rolling spot forex and spread bets.
FxPro Global Markets Ltd, the group's Bahamas company, is on the list of registered firms of the Securities Commission of The Bahamas dated 30 September 2026, for dealing in capital market instruments as agent or principal and trading CFDs. That list prints no licence number; SIA-F184 is the number FxPro publishes for the company. The Financial Services Commission of Mauritius lists Prime Ash Capital Limited, a Mauritius company that FxPro's privacy policy says trades as FxPro, as holder of Investment Dealer licence GB21026568 (Full Service Dealer, excluding Underwriting), effective since 11 August 2021. Both entries were checked on 27 October 2026.
FxPro's site also states that FXPRO Financial Services Ltd is authorised by South Africa's Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) as financial services provider 45052.
Is FxPro Regulated?
Yes. FxPro's UK and Cyprus companies hold FCA and CySEC authorisations, both confirmed on the regulators' registers on 27 October 2026. Clients outside the UK and the EU are served by the Bahamas company, whose offshore regulator offers weaker client protections than the UK or the EU, so the regulator behind an account depends on the FxPro company that holds it.
FxPro Group Ltd
FxPro Group Ltd is the parent of the companies that trade under the FxPro brand. FXPRO Financial Services Ltd serves FxPro's European clients, FXPRO UK Limited its UK clients and FxPro Global Markets Ltd clients outside the UK and the EU, and FxPro's privacy policy says Prime Ash Capital Limited in Mauritius trades as FxPro. The company named in the account documents is the one whose licence, rules and protections apply.
The Cyprus Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property lists FXPRO Financial Services Ltd under number HE 181344, incorporated on 31 July 2006, with its registered address at Karyatidon 1, Ypsonas, Limassol, as checked on 27 October 2026. That entry confirms the company's registration, not its licence.
Is FxPro Safe?
FxPro's UK and Cyprus companies answer to two established European regulators, but a licence does not guarantee the safety of a deposit, and the protections depend on the FxPro company that holds the account. FxPro says negative balance protection applies to all clients, whatever their category or jurisdiction.
Eligible retail clients of FXPRO Financial Services Ltd may claim from Cyprus's Investor Compensation Fund, which covers eligible claims up to 20,000 EUR per client and never trading losses. For FXPRO UK Limited the scheme is the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), which covers eligible investment claims up to 85,000 GBP per person, per firm. Clients of FxPro Global Markets Ltd and Prime Ash Capital Limited have no UK or EU compensation scheme, and clients who elect to be treated as professional keep negative balance protection but give up the retail leverage limits and may lose investor compensation.
The FCA register names four clone firms that have used FXPRO UK Limited's details, most recently one called FxBlue Bridge, added on 10 September 2026, and CySEC lists www.fxpro.com among the approved domains of FXPRO Financial Services Ltd, which helps to tell FxPro's own sites from imitations.
FxPro Account Types
FxPro's EU account comparison lists two accounts. The Standard account runs on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, FxPro WebTrader and the FxPro app, with all-inclusive spreads and no commission; MT4 accounts use hedging, and MT5 accounts netting or hedging. The cTrader account runs on cTrader and TradingView, prices forex and metals at a low spread plus a commission, and sets no minimum distance for stop and limit orders.
FxPro says its standard account has no fixed minimum deposit and recommends a first deposit of 1,000 USD; in practice the payment method sets the minimum. The VIP programme, for clients who fund 50,000 USD or trade large volumes, works on top of these accounts rather than as a separate one, with up to 30% off spreads on selected instruments on MetaTrader or up to 30% lower commissions on cTrader, a free VPS and a dedicated account manager. Swap-free accounts are available for religious reasons on request, though FxPro may charge fees once trades on certain instruments stay open beyond a set number of days. UK residents can also open spread betting accounts with FXPRO UK Limited, and accounts can be held in EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, PLN, AUD or ZAR, with further currencies in some jurisdictions.
FxPro Spreads, Commissions and Fees
Standard account spreads start at 1.2 pips on major forex pairs, 25 cents on gold and 15 USD on Bitcoin, with the cost built into the spread. On the cTrader account, forex pairs and metals carry a commission of 35 USD per 1 million USD traded, charged when a position is opened and again when it is closed, while indices, energy and crypto carry marked-up spreads and no commission.
An account with no open positions and no trades for 6 months is charged an inactivity fee of 10 USD a month, or its remaining balance if that is below 10 USD, under clause 13.7 of the Client Agreement of FXPRO Financial Services Ltd.
FxPro Leverage
For retail clients of FXPRO Financial Services Ltd, maximum leverage is 1:30 on major forex pairs; 1:20 on minor pairs, gold and major indices; 1:10 on silver, platinum, palladium, base metals, minor indices, energies and commodity futures; 1:5 on shares and ETFs; and 1:2 on cryptocurrencies. FxPro applies dynamic leverage, so the maximum falls as a client's volume in an instrument rises.
FxPro Trading Platforms
FxPro offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader for Windows, Mac, web, iOS and Android. An FxPro cTrader account can be connected to TradingView free of charge and traded from TradingView's web platform, its Windows, Mac and Linux apps and its mobile apps. FxPro's own platforms are FxPro WebTrader, also called FxPro Edge, which gives web access to MT4 and MT5 accounts, and the FxPro Mobile App for iOS and Android, with TradingView charts, account and fund management and Trading Central signals.
FxPro Deposits and Withdrawals
On its EU site FxPro accepts bank wire, SEPA and other local bank transfers, Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards, Neteller, PayPal and, in certain countries, Skrill, and says the methods on offer depend on the client's country. Card and e-wallet deposits start at 100 in USD, EUR, GBP, CHF or AUD (400 PLN or 10,000 JPY) and go up to 10,000; FxPro publishes no deposit minimum for bank wires, and bank wire withdrawals start at 100 USD.
FxPro charges no fees of its own except on e-wallet withdrawals requested without having traded: up to 2% on Neteller, 2.6% on Skrill and 2.7% on PayPal. Banks, intermediaries and card issuers may charge their own fees. Money passes through the FxPro Wallet, and withdrawals go back to the funding source first: recent card deposits are refunded to the card, then PayPal and Skrill deposits, before profits can be sent by bank wire or another method used before.
Card and e-wallet deposits are usually credited within 10 minutes, SEPA and local transfers the same business day, and international wires take 3 to 5 business days. FxPro processes withdrawal requests within one working day; the money then takes the channel's own time, usually within a working day for e-wallets, up to 2 working days for SEPA and local transfers (one help-centre answer says usually the same business day), 3 to 5 working days for international wires and around 10 working days for cards.
FxPro Support
FxPro's support team works 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, by live chat on its site and in the FxPro App, by email at support@fxpro.com, by phone and by call-back request, and FxPro says it helps clients in more than 20 languages. Its London office lists +44 (0) 203 151 5550 and a reception line, +44 (0) 20 7776 9720, open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. GMT.
Clients of FXPRO Financial Services Ltd send formal complaints to compliance@fxpro.com. FxPro acknowledges a complaint within 5 days and answers within 2 months, or 3 at most, after which the client can go to the Financial Ombudsman of the Republic of Cyprus within 4 months of the final response.

- An inactivity fee of 10 USD a month after 6 months without trading

FxPro Review and Assessment
FxPro is a multi-platform CFD broker whose UK and Cyprus companies hold FCA and CySEC authorisations confirmed on both registers, with further companies on the registers of the Bahamas and Mauritius regulators. Its main appeal is the choice between commission-free Standard pricing on MetaTrader and commission-based pricing on cTrader and TradingView, with no FxPro funding fees for clients who trade. Before funding an account, the key check is which FxPro company and regulator it will sit under, because leverage, protections and costs follow that jurisdiction.
