Summary of the broker
GLOBAL FX Broker Overview
GLOBAL FX is the trading brand of J&M Global Company Group Limited, a company that gives a Hong Kong registered address at Unit 303D, 3/F Block A Hung Hom Commercial Centre, 39 Ma Tau Wai Road, Hung Hom, Kowloon, and a separate business address at Flat A100, 3/F Manning Industrial Building, 116-118 How Ming Street, Kwun Tong. Its website at globalfinfx.com says the company was established in 2018 and offers precious metals, contracts for difference and foreign exchange on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. The site is a two page brochure in Chinese, and the entire client journey happens on a separate account portal.
Is GLOBAL FX Regulated?
No. There is no confirmed regulation, and there is no claimed regulation either. The website does not name a financial regulator, does not quote a licence number and carries no regulation, legal or compliance page of any kind. A prospective client therefore has no authority to complain to and no supervisory body that could compel the return of money.
J&M Global Company Group Limited
J&M Global Company Group Limited is the only legal entity the site names, and it publishes 65417268 as its registration code. That number is in the format Hong Kong uses for business registration rather than the format the Companies Registry uses for a company number, so the identifier on the site does not by itself identify a Companies Registry entry. Company registration in Hong Kong, whatever form it takes, is not financial regulation and confers no permission to hold client money or to deal in foreign exchange.
Is GLOBAL FX Safe?
The absence of any regulator is the decisive fact, and it is compounded by what the site claims in its place. The company states that it makes all of its retail clients members of an investor compensation fund, that client money is held separately from company money, and that it maintains funding relationships with named international banks. None of these is supported by a licence, a scheme name, a membership number or a custodian, and an investor compensation scheme is something only a firm authorised in a jurisdiction that operates one can join. Claims of that kind, made by a company with no supervisor, describe a protection that does not exist.
GLOBAL FX Account Types
The site markets a single commission free STP and ECN proposition advertised at raw spread with zero markup and spreads from zero pips. It publishes no account comparison, no minimum deposit and no differences between the STP and ECN variants, so the practical distinction between them is not disclosed anywhere a client can read before applying.
GLOBAL FX Leverage
The live account application offers leverage of 1:100, 1:200, 1:300, 1:400 and 1:500, so 1:500 is the maximum the broker itself makes available at signup.
GLOBAL FX Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are both offered, each with a branded desktop installer served from the MetaQuotes distribution network. The mobile builds are the standard MetaTrader applications from the Apple and Google stores rather than anything specific to this broker.
GLOBAL FX Deposits and Withdrawals
The site states that deposits and withdrawals can be processed around the clock but publishes no payment methods, no fees, no processing times and no minimum or maximum amounts. Nothing about how money enters or leaves an account is disclosed before a client applies.
GLOBAL FX Pros and Cons
- Both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are available, with branded installers rather than a proprietary platform of unknown provenance.
- A named legal entity, two Hong Kong addresses, a telephone number and an email address are published, which is more disclosure than many unregulated sites offer.
- No financial regulator is named anywhere on the site, so there is no supervision and no complaints route.
- Client protections including an investor compensation scheme and segregated funds are asserted without any supporting licence or scheme.
- Trading costs, minimum deposit and funding terms are all undisclosed.
GLOBAL FX Review and Assessment
GLOBAL FX presents as a small Hong Kong operation running a conventional MetaTrader offering behind a thin marketing site. The single consideration that outweighs everything else is that no financial authority supervises it, while the site simultaneously advertises the protections that only supervision can provide. Anyone considering an account should treat the compensation and segregation claims as unverified and recognise that money deposited would sit with an entity no regulator can reach.

How we know
- 1Whitelist: the broker's own live account application at crm.globalfinfx.com/online_main.action offers a closed nationality and country of residence selector of 130 entries. Every code in the whitelist is an option a client can actually select when opening an account, which is what enforces onboarding.
- 2Conflict recorded rather than resolved silently: the disclaimer published on https://www.globalfinfx.com/ and https://www.globalfinfx.com/about.html states the information on the site is not directed at residents of the United States, Germany, the People's Republic of China and Hong Kong SAR of PRC. All four (US, DE, CN, HK) are nevertheless selectable in the account application, so the application form decides and those codes sit in the whitelist. The disclaimer is a distribution notice rather than an onboarding rule, and a prospective client in those four jurisdictions should treat the position as unsettled.
- 3Netherlands Antilles appears in the application's country selector but no longer has a current ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code, so it is recorded here and placed in no list.
- 4No restriction list was found in any other location. The site publishes no terms and conditions, client agreement, restricted countries page, AML or KYC policy, deposit and withdrawal page or partner terms, and it names no regulator whose filings could be consulted.
Recorded by WIKILIX research, not published by the broker, and not a guarantee. A country listed nowhere above is not thereby accepted — check GLOBAL FX's own terms before you open an account.
