- The licence is not theirs. The Central Bank of Ireland register shows reference C423427 is held by Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited, a firm registered at North Dock One, 91/92 North Wall Quay, Dublin. ibkrk.com is not that company, yet it shows that number as if it were its own.
- The domain is a look-alike, not an official one. ibkrk.com was registered in January 2026. Interactive Brokers' only official website is interactivebrokers.com, and the firm states it has no connection to third-party sites.
