Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
5/10 · ModerateA genuine tier-1 FCA licence verified and matched on the register plus a verified Mauritius investment dealer licence, set against an Anguilla contracting entity that holds no licence and that its own regulator publicly alerted on.
Identity & transparency
3/10 · LowCompanies House, the FCA register and the site agree on entity, number and address, and every group entity is named with its registration number, but the split between the regulated entity advertised and the unregulated entity contracting is genuinely confusing for clients.
Withdrawals & conduct
6/10 · HighA fund-integrity pattern meeting three of four pattern tests, profits reversed and withdrawals cancelled with checkable amounts across two platforms, alongside a large base of clients reporting normal withdrawals and a company that answers complaints.
Reputation
5/10 · ModerateNet positive at 4.3 out of 5 across 1,133 Trustpilot reviews, but the distribution is bimodal with a hollow middle, and several scam-titled complaint threads recur over years on forex-specific forums.
Website claims
5/10 · ModerateLicence numbers, entity names and the 2009 founding date all check out, and the UAE permission is honestly described as marketing and introducing, but the global regulation page leads with the FCA badge that does not cover global clients and publishes no register verification links.
Operational history
2/10 · LowAbout 17 years of verified history, with the company incorporated in March 2009 from Companies House and the oldest domain registered in 2005, under continuous FCA authorisation through three earlier brand names.
Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.
- Brand: INFINOX, trading since July 2016 under that name, with a new trading name 'IXO Prime' added to the FCA register on 5 October 2026.
- Legal entity (UK): Infinox Capital Limited, company number 06854853, incorporated 21 March 2009.
- Registered: 90 Bartholomew Close, London EC1A 7BN, United Kingdom, a genuine City of London office building.
- Website: infinox.co.uk for UK clients, infinox.com for everyone else.
- Licences: FCA (UK) FRN 501057; Financial Services Commission of Mauritius investment dealer licence GB20025832 held by INFINOX Limited; Securities Commission of The Bahamas registration SIA F-188 held by IX Capital Group Limited; a UAE Capital Market Authority Category 5 arrangement and advice permission held by Infinox Financial Consultants L.L.C S.O.C.
- Not a licence: INFINOX Global Limited (Anguilla, company A000001246) and INFINOX Services EU Limited (Cyprus, HE440832) are company registrations only.
- Offers: forex, indices, commodities, shares, crypto and futures CFDs on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, its own IX App and IX Social copy trading, plus PAMM accounts.
- Not accepted: the UK site states it is not directed at residents of the United States or the EU and EEA.
- Age claim: 'Established global presence since 2009'. This checks out for the legal entity and the FCA licence, though the INFINOX brand itself dates from 2016.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
This is a genuinely regulated group with a genuinely unregulated arm, and the second fact is the one a prospective client needs.
- The tier-1 licence passes every test. We opened the FCA register entry for FRN 501057. It names Infinox Capital Limited, records the website infinox.co.uk, the address 90 Bartholomew Close and the phone number the firm publishes, and confirms company number 06854853. Status is Authorised since 15 September 2009, with permission to hold and control client money. Name, domain and contact details all match, so this is not a borrowed licence.
- The corporate paper trail is clean and old. Companies House shows Infinox Capital Limited incorporated on 21 March 2009, active, with accounts filed to 31 March 2025. The oldest group domain, infinox.com, was registered in June 2005. That gives a verified track record of about 17 years, with both legs of the calculation evidenced rather than assumed.
- The money-holding entity for global clients is the weak point. The global site presents two sets of legal documents, and the default set is headed 'Legal Documents for Infinox Global Limited'. That agreement names an Anguilla company, applies Anguilla law, and concedes that CFDs are unregulated in Anguilla and that the company is not subject to regulation equivalent to the Mauritius FSC or EU MiFID II. A client who reads only the regulation page would not expect that counterparty.
- Anguilla's own regulator has said so publicly. The Anguilla Financial Services Commission's investor alerts page carries an alert dated 23 September 2025 against INFINOX Global Limited, naming www.infinox.com, stating the company is not and never has been licensed or registered by the Commission for securities, forex, crypto or CFD account management. A regulator notice naming the operating domain is the single heaviest item in this report.
- The regulation page leads with a badge that does not protect a global client. The global Licenses and Regulations page opens with 'We submit to the oversight of the world's most respected financial authorities' and displays the FCA alongside the Mauritius and UAE regulators. The FCA entity does not serve those clients, and the group's global contact page lists no UK entity at all.
- Client complaints describe money, not inconvenience. Across Trustpilot and ForexPeaceArmy, the same mechanism recurs: an account trades profitably, then the profit is reversed or the account is closed, with bonus or promotion rules cited. One Trustpilot reviewer documents a deduction of 4,602.31 US dollars against account 87990315. A ForexPeaceArmy thread from April 2026 describes profits confiscated and trading records no longer available after trading on a credit equal to the account balance. Another describes withdrawals paid short, 3,900 US dollars received against 4,100 requested. Three of the four pattern tests are met: one shared failure, two independent platforms, and checkable detail. The reports recur across years rather than spiking in one window, so we do not treat this as a withdrawal freeze with a start date.
- The FCA action is real but narrow. On 29 January 2025 the FCA fined Infinox Capital Limited 99,200 pounds for failing to submit 46,053 transaction reports for single-stock CFD trades between October 2022 and March 2023. The FCA's stated concern was market integrity and undetected market abuse. It alleged no client harm, no misappropriation and no fraud, and we weigh it accordingly.
- What we did not find matters too. No regulator warning names INFINOX itself as an unauthorised or fraudulent operator. No enforcement action or court record alleges fraud. No advance-fee demand, the most incriminating complaint type, appeared anywhere in our sweep. The percentage reflects a structural risk we can prove, not misconduct we have established.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The FCA register lists Infinox Capital Limited, FRN 501057, as Authorised since 15 September 2009, recording website infinox.co.uk, address 90 Bartholomew Close London EC1A 7BN, company number 06854853, and permission to hold and control client money. Name, domain and contacts all match the operation under review, so the licence is this firm's own.
Hard proofFCA Financial Services RegisterE2The Anguilla Financial Services Commission's investor alerts page carries an alert dated 23 September 2025 against INFINOX Global Limited, naming the website www.infinox.com, stating the company is not and never has been licensed or registered by the Commission to trade securities or commodities including forex and cryptocurrencies or to manage CFD accounts.
Hard proofAnguilla Financial Services CommissionE3The FCA clone warning added on 25 June 2024 names primeinfinox.co.uk as an unauthorised firm using this firm's details, and states the genuine firm is Infinox Capital Limited at 90 Bartholomew Close with the website infinox.co.uk. The regulator therefore confirms the site under review as the genuine one.
E4The client agreement published for INFINOX Global Limited identifies the company as incorporated in Anguilla under number A000001246, applies Anguilla law, and states that CFDs are currently unregulated in Anguilla and that the company is not subject to prudential or conduct regulation equivalent to FSC or EU MiFID II regulation. It also reserves discretion to refuse or delay a withdrawal request on listed grounds.
E5The FCA fined Infinox Capital Limited 99,200 pounds on 29 January 2025 for failing to submit 46,053 transaction reports for single-stock CFD trades between 1 October 2022 and 31 March 2023, the first penalty under the UK MiFIR reporting regime. The FCA cited risk to market integrity and alleged no client harm, misappropriation or fraud.
StrongFCA press releaseE6Companies House records INFINOX CAPITAL LIMITED, number 06854853, incorporated 21 March 2009, status active, registered at 90 Bartholomew Close London EC1A 7BN, with accounts filed to 31 March 2025 and former names BLU-HILL FINANCIAL LIMITED, VANTAGE FX UK TRADING LIMITED and GO MARKETS UK TRADING LIMITED.
StrongUK Companies HouseE7The FSC Mauritius Online Public Register returns Infinox Limited holding a SEC-2.1B Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting) licence dated 19 November 2020, administered by Credentia International Management Ltd at The Catalyst, 40 Cybercity, Ebene, with no adverse annotation. The address matches the one the broker publishes.
E8On Trustpilot the brand carries 1,133 reviews at 4.3 out of 5, with 81 percent five star and 11 percent one star and almost nothing in between. One star reviews repeatedly describe profits reversed or accounts closed after winning trades, including a deduction of 4,602.31 US dollars against account 87990315, and withdrawal requests held in pending status for two to three days before being cancelled. The company replies to roughly 36 percent of negative reviews.
ModerateTrustpilotE9ForexPeaceArmy carries multiple complaint threads naming infinox.com, including one from April 2026 describing profits confiscated and trading records no longer available after trading on a credit equal to the account balance, and another describing withdrawals paid short, 3,900 US dollars received against 4,100 requested. The same failure mechanism appears here as on Trustpilot, from different users.
StrongForexPeaceArmy communityE10The group's global legal documents page splits its terms into a set headed Legal Documents for Infinox Global Limited, the Anguilla company, and a separate set headed Infinox Limited (FSC) Documents for the Mauritius company. The Anguilla set is presented first and carries the fuller product range including PAMM and copy trading.
ModerateINFINOX legal documents pageE11The global Licenses and Regulations page opens with a statement about submitting to the oversight of the world's most respected financial authorities and displays the FCA alongside the Mauritius and UAE regulators, although the FCA entity does not serve clients of that site. The page publishes no verification link to any regulator's register.
E12The same page discloses an excess of loss policy underwritten by Arch 2012 at Lloyd's covering eligible clients of INFINOX Global Limited for net loss up to 500,000 US dollars per claimant in an insolvency event, subject to a 20,000 US dollar retention, alongside segregated client accounts and negative balance protection for all retail clients.
E13The Securities Commission of The Bahamas list of securities firms as at 28 February 2026 includes IX Capital Group Limited, permitted to deal in capital market instruments as agent or principal, to arrange deals, and to manage capital market instruments and trade CFDs. This is the holder of the SIA F-188 registration recorded against the brand.
E14The group's global site states that INFINOX Limited is authorised and regulated as an Investment Dealer by the FSC of Mauritius under licence GB20025832, that Infinox Financial Consultants L.L.C serves as a marketing and introducing entity in the UAE under CMA Category 5 licence 20200000379, and that INFINOX Global Limited is a company incorporated in Anguilla under number A000001246. The UAE role is described honestly rather than as a dealing licence.
ModerateINFINOX global site disclosuresE15Domain registration records date infinox.com to 27 June 2005 and infinox.co.uk to 19 June 2016, the latter matching the month the company was renamed to Infinox Capital Limited. The partner domain infinoxpartners.com dates to 20 March 2020. Nothing in the domain history contradicts the advertised 2009 founding.
E16The FCA record lists IXO Prime as a new trading name effective 5 October 2026, and former registered and trading names including Blu-Hill Financial Limited from September 2009, Vantage FX UK Trading Limited, GO Markets UK Trading Limited and IX Securities. The authorisation and company number run continuously across all of them, so this is one firm renamed rather than a succession of operations.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The case for INFINOX is stronger than the headline risk score suggests, and it deserves stating plainly.
- The licence is not window dressing. Seventeen years of continuous FCA authorisation, client-money permission, and FSCS and Financial Ombudsman cover put the UK entity in a different category from the offshore shells this kind of report usually examines. A UK client of Infinox Capital Limited is genuinely protected.
- The Mauritius licence verifies on the regulator's own register. We searched the FSC Mauritius Online Public Register and found INFINOX Limited holding a SEC-2.1B Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting) licence dated 19 November 2020, with no adverse annotation. The Bahamas registration also appears on the Securities Commission's own list of securities firms as at 28 February 2026, under IX Capital Group Limited, covering CFD trading.
- The Anguilla disclosure is honest, not hidden. Far from claiming a licence it does not hold, the group's client agreement states in terms that the Anguilla entity is unregulated. Brokers running a deception do the opposite. The UAE permission is likewise described on the site as a 'marketing and introducing entity' role rather than being dressed up as a dealing licence.
- Anguilla's alert is not unique to INFINOX. The same page carries alerts against Notesco Int Limited trading as IronFX and as FXGiants, long-established brokers. The notices reflect Anguilla's position on companies incorporated there without a local licence, not a finding of misconduct against any of them.
- There are real protections on the offshore side. The group publishes an excess of loss policy underwritten by Arch 2012 at Lloyd's covering eligible clients of INFINOX Global Limited for net loss up to 500,000 US dollars per claimant in an insolvency event, alongside segregated client accounts and negative balance protection for all retail clients.
- INFINOX is a target of impersonation, not an impersonator. The FCA register carries a clone warning added on 25 June 2024 against primeinfinox.co.uk, and the FCA explicitly confirms the genuine firm's website is infinox.co.uk. Malaysia's Securities Commission has separately flagged an 'Infinox Trading Power' as a clone. Someone else is misusing this brand.
- The review base is large and mostly satisfied. Trustpilot carries 1,133 reviews at 4.3 out of 5, with many describing withdrawals that completed normally, and the company replies to roughly a third of negative reviews rather than ignoring them.
- The office is real. 90 Bartholomew Close is a genuine 24,000 square foot City of London office development, not a mail-forwarding address, and the FCA records those firm details as confirmed correct.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Our rating is a judgement about structure and conduct, and specific, checkable facts would move it in either direction.
- Lower risk if INFINOX moved global retail clients onto the Mauritius FSC-licensed entity, or obtained an Anguilla licence, so that the Anguilla Financial Services Commission withdrew its 23 September 2025 alert.
- Lower risk if the global Licenses and Regulations page stated, above the fold, which entity will face the client and that the FCA licence does not cover non-UK accounts.
- Lower risk if the pattern of profits reversed on winning accounts stopped appearing in new reviews for a sustained period, or the group published how those bonus and promotion disputes were resolved.
- Lower risk if the broker published direct verification links to each regulator's register beside each licence, which it currently does not do for any of them.
- Higher risk if any regulator added INFINOX itself, rather than a clone of it, to a warning or alert list.
- Higher risk if the FCA imposed a requirement, restriction or client-money condition on FRN 501057, or if the Mauritius FSC licence picked up an adverse annotation.
- Higher risk if complaints began demanding a further payment, a tax, a fee or an insurance premium, before funds were released. That is the advance-fee pattern and we found no sign of it.
- Higher risk if withdrawal complaints clustered into a single window, which would suggest a liquidity problem rather than individual disputes.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is INFINOX a scam?
No. INFINOX is a real broker with a genuine UK licence from the Financial Conduct Authority, number 501057, held since September 2009, and a verified investment dealer licence in Mauritius. We rate it high risk rather than safe, because the entity that contracts with most non-UK clients, INFINOX Global Limited in Anguilla, holds no financial licence at all.
Is INFINOX a fraud?
No regulator or court has found INFINOX to have committed fraud, and we found no fraud-related enforcement action or court record naming the group. The only enforcement action we found is an FCA fine of 99,200 pounds in January 2025 for missing transaction reports, where the FCA alleged no client harm and no misappropriation.
Is INFINOX regulated?
Partly. Infinox Capital Limited is regulated by the FCA in the UK, and INFINOX Limited holds a Mauritius FSC investment dealer licence. But INFINOX Global Limited, the Anguilla company that issues the default client agreement on the global site, is not regulated anywhere, and its own contract says so.
Which INFINOX entity will hold my money?
It depends on where you sign up. UK clients contract with Infinox Capital Limited under the FCA. On the global site, the default legal document set is headed for Infinox Global Limited, the unregulated Anguilla company, while a separate set exists for the Mauritius entity. Read the agreement you are sent and check the entity name before depositing.
Can I withdraw my money from INFINOX?
Most clients do. Trustpilot carries 1,133 reviews at 4.3 out of 5, many describing withdrawals that completed. However a persistent minority on Trustpilot and ForexPeaceArmy report withdrawals left pending then cancelled, and profits reversed or accounts closed after winning trades, usually with bonus or promotion rules cited.
Is my money safe with INFINOX?
That depends entirely on the entity. With the FCA-regulated UK entity you have segregated client money, Financial Ombudsman access and FSCS cover. With the Anguilla entity you have segregated accounts and a private Lloyd's excess of loss policy covering up to 500,000 US dollars per claimant in an insolvency event, but no regulator and no statutory compensation scheme.
Why did Anguilla's regulator issue an alert about INFINOX?
On 23 September 2025 the Anguilla Financial Services Commission published an investor alert stating that INFINOX Global Limited, using the website www.infinox.com, is not and never has been licensed or registered by it for securities, forex, crypto or CFD account management. Anguilla has issued similar alerts against other established brokers incorporated there without a local licence.
How old is INFINOX?
The company dates from 21 March 2009 and has been FCA authorised since 15 September 2009, giving a verified track record of about 17 years. The INFINOX brand itself is newer: the entity traded as Blu-Hill Financial, then Vantage FX UK Trading, then GO Markets UK Trading, and took the INFINOX name in July 2016.
Is INFINOX a clone of another broker?
No, the opposite. INFINOX is the firm being copied. The FCA register carries a clone warning added on 25 June 2024 against primeinfinox.co.uk, and confirms the genuine website is infinox.co.uk. Malaysia's Securities Commission has separately flagged an entity calling itself Infinox Trading Power as a clone.
Why was INFINOX fined by the FCA?
On 29 January 2025 the FCA fined Infinox Capital Limited 99,200 pounds for failing to submit 46,053 transaction reports for single-stock CFD trades between October 2022 and March 2023. It was the first fine under the UK MiFIR reporting regime. The FCA's concern was market integrity, and it made no allegation of client harm or fraud.
What is the Mauritius FSC licence worth?
It is a real licence, verified on the regulator's own public register as a SEC-2.1B Investment Dealer licence dated 19 November 2020. Mauritius is a mid to low tier offshore jurisdiction, so the licence brings supervision and capital requirements but no compensation scheme comparable to the FSCS in the UK.
Does INFINOX accept clients from the UK, EU or United States?
The UK site serves UK clients under the FCA entity and states it is not directed at residents of the United States, the EU or the EEA. Clients elsewhere are routed to the global site and its offshore entities.
What should I check before depositing with INFINOX?
Search 501057 on the FCA register and read the firm record. Then read the client agreement you are actually sent and confirm which entity it names. If it names the Anguilla company, accept that you are dealing with an unregulated counterparty. Finally, read any bonus or promotion terms before accepting credit.
What do I do if I think INFINOX has treated me unfairly?
Complain in writing to compliance@infinox.co.uk and keep copies of statements and trade histories. If your account is with the FCA-regulated UK entity you can escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service. If your account is with the Anguilla entity there is no regulator or ombudsman to escalate to, which is the central risk in this report.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat INFINOX as a real but unevenly protected broker, and decide deliberately which entity you deal with.
- Check which entity your agreement names before you fund anything. If it says INFINOX Global Limited, Anguilla, you have no financial regulator and no compensation scheme behind your account, only the company's own insurance policy.
- UK residents should use infinox.co.uk. Only Infinox Capital Limited, FRN 501057, carries FCA supervision, Financial Ombudsman access and FSCS cover.
- Verify the licence yourself. Search 501057 on the FCA register and read the firm's record, including the notices section.
- Be careful with bonuses, credits and promotions. The recurring complaint theme involves profits reversed for alleged breaches of promotion rules. Read those terms, or trade without the credit.
- Avoid primeinfinox.co.uk. The FCA has named it as a clone of this firm. Call the switchboard number on the FCA register before trusting any contact claiming to be INFINOX.
- Keep your own records. Save statements, trade histories and withdrawal receipts, because several complainants report that records became unavailable after a dispute began.
- If you are already in dispute, complain in writing to compliance@infinox.co.uk, and if the UK entity holds your account, escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
