JT Markets has one licence on record with Wikilix, issued by one authority across one jurisdiction. None was issued by a tier-1 or tier-2 authority. We located 1 of 1 on the issuing authority’s own register.

One licence comes from an authority classed as offshore. An offshore regime can be a legitimate registration, but it typically carries lower capital requirements and no compensation scheme.

Most Popular Questions

Yes. All three account tiers permit hedging, scalping and Expert Advisors, with a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots and, on the Standard account, unlimited open positions.

By email: support@jtmarkets.trade for client support, partnerships@jtmarkets.trade for partner enquiries and info@jtmarkets.trade for general and regulatory questions. Support is described as available 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday, while global markets are open, with general enquiries answered within one business day. No live chat is published, and the only telephone contact on record is a Seychelles number.

Not that we could find. No swap-free or Islamic account option is mentioned on the accounts pages or anywhere else on the public site. If that matters to you, ask support directly before opening an account.

Young. The website's own copyright notice runs from 2024, and no precise founding date is published. That means under two years of public operating history, which is too short a period to judge how the firm behaves under market stress or in a dispute.

We found no evidence that it is. The licence number checks out against the certificate we reviewed, the legal entity is on the Seychelles Business Register under the name and address the site publishes, the registered office matches across the footer, the terms and the licence record, and the site does not overstate its regulation. The risks here are structural rather than fraudulent: an offshore licence with no compensation scheme, leverage of 1:1000, a track record of under two years, and no published funding policy.

The broker states that its services are not directed at residents or citizens of the United States, Canada, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Myanmar, Cuba, Syria, Sudan or Afghanistan, or any other jurisdiction where use would breach local law. Note that the registration form's country selector is a full world list and still offers all of those jurisdictions, so the restriction appears to be a policy statement rather than an enforced onboarding control.

The company states that client funds are held in segregated bank accounts at what it calls tier-one international financial institutions, separate from operating capital, and that two-factor authentication is available on all accounts. That is the broker's own statement rather than an insured guarantee. A Seychelles Securities Dealer Licence carries no statutory compensation scheme, so if the firm failed there would be no fund of last resort to repay clients. Deposit only what you can afford to lose.

The broker publishes no withdrawal processing times, and there is no independent record of how it handles withdrawals in practice. Because the brand is only around two years old, no pattern either way has yet formed. Treat the absence of a published timetable as an unknown rather than a reassurance.

This is the significant gap in the offering. JT Markets publishes no deposit and withdrawal page at all: no payment channels, no fees, no processing times and no per-method limits appear anywhere on the public website. You would only learn how funding works after registering an account. We regard an undisclosed funding policy as a meaningful reason for caution and would ask support for the schedule in writing before depositing.

CFDs on forex, indices, metals and commodities. The broker publishes 60 currency pairs across majors, crosses and exotics, and around 80 instruments in total on the MT5 platform. Individual share and cryptocurrency counts are not published.

Only MetaTrader 5. It is offered for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and the browser, with the same feature set across devices. There is no MT4 and no proprietary platform. The broker layers Social Trading, Trading Central and a CHART+ AI analysis tool on top of MT5.

Standard: spreads from 1.2 pips with no commission. Advanced: spreads from 0.0 pips plus $3 per side. Elite: spreads from 0.0 pips plus $2 per side. On forex specifically the broker quotes majors from 0.6 pips, with exotics ranging from roughly 0.9 to 21.5 pips.

Up to 1:1000 on the Standard and Advanced accounts. Elite leverage is described only as tailored, with no figure published. Leverage at that level is far above what onshore regulators permit and will amplify losses as fast as gains, so size positions accordingly.

$100 on the entry-level Standard account. The Advanced account requires $1,000 and the Elite account $25,000. Accounts funded with $1,000 or more also unlock the broker's FMC Academy education programme.
