Broker Summary
Summary of the broker
JT Markets is the retail trading brand of JT Markets Limited, a company incorporated in the Republic of Seychelles and licensed by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority under Securities Dealer Licence number SDL215. Its registered office is Room B11, First Floor, Providence Complex, Providence, Mahé, Seychelles, and the entity appears on the Seychelles Business Register as JT MARKETS LTD, registration number C8437275. The brand trades at jtmarkets.trade and runs a separate institutional site at jtprime.trade.
What they offer. JT Markets is a CFD broker covering forex, indices, metals and commodities. The company publishes sixty currency pairs and around eighty instruments in total, all traded on MetaTrader 5, which is the only platform on offer: there is no MT4 and no proprietary terminal. MT5 is available for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and the browser. Alongside it the broker bundles Social Trading, Trading Central and a CHART+ AI analysis tool, plus an in-house education programme it calls FMC Academy, unlocked when an account is funded with $1,000 or more.
Accounts and pricing. Three tiers are published. Standard starts at a $100 minimum deposit with spreads from 1.2 pips and no commission. Advanced starts at $1,000 with spreads from 0.0 pips and $3 per side. Elite starts at $25,000 with spreads from 0.0 pips, $2 per side and a dedicated relationship manager; its leverage is described only as tailored. Standard and Advanced advertise leverage up to 1:1000. Minimum trade size is 0.01 lots throughout, and hedging, scalping and Expert Advisors are all permitted. The Standard account is quoted in USD only.
Funding and support. JT Markets does not publish a deposit and withdrawal page: no payment channels, fees, processing times or per-method limits are stated anywhere on the public site, so a prospective client cannot see how money moves in or out before registering. Support is by email at [email protected], described as available around the clock Monday to Friday while markets are open, with general enquiries answered within one business day. There is no published live chat and the only phone number on record is a Seychelles line. The site is offered in nine languages and the client portal country selector is a full world list.
Who it suits, and the caveats. The offering is coherent and cheap to enter, and the Advanced tier's raw-spread pricing is competitive for an offshore broker. But the supervision behind it is light. A Seychelles Securities Dealer Licence carries no statutory client-money compensation scheme, and while the company says client funds sit in segregated accounts at tier-one banks, that is the broker's own statement rather than an insured guarantee. Leverage of 1:1000 is far beyond what any onshore regulator permits and magnifies losses as readily as gains. The brand is young: the site's own copyright runs from 2024, so there is little public operating history and no track record of how withdrawals are handled under stress. JT Markets says its services are not directed at residents of the United States, Canada, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Myanmar, Cuba, Syria, Sudan or Afghanistan.
Suitable for experienced traders who understand offshore counterparty risk and are willing to size positions accordingly. Anyone who needs statutory investor protection, a compensation scheme or a published funding policy should look at an onshore-regulated firm instead.
