Broker Summary
What Wikilix has recorded about LOM: its history, the licences it holds, its trading conditions and its fees.
LOM Broker Overview
LOM is the trading name of LOM Financial Limited, a Bermuda company that has been on the Bermuda companies register since May 1996 and remains active there today. The firm is based at The LOM Building, 27 Reid Street, in Hamilton, and presents itself online through the domain lom.com. Its corporate identity is unusually well documented for this sector: the company number, the date of creation and the registered office are all confirmable on official records, and the group includes a second Bermuda company registered since 1992.
What is not documented is the regulatory permission under which LOM would take on a trading client, or the commercial terms it offers. Neither a licence nor a published set of trading conditions could be confirmed for this profile.
LOM Regulation and License
No financial services licence for LOM could be confirmed. This research found no licence number, no named supervising authority and no regulatory permission attributable to LOM Financial Limited or to any related entity. On the classification WIKILIX applies, LOM sits at no confirmed regulation. That is a stronger statement than a licence claimed but unverified, because here there is no licence claim on record to test in the first place.
Readers should note what this does and does not mean. It does not mean a licence has been checked and found to be false. It means that nothing establishing a supervising authority for this firm could be confirmed, and a prospective client therefore has no identified regulator to turn to.
Is LOM Regulated?
No confirmed regulation was found for LOM. A reader deciding whether to deposit funds should treat the firm as unregulated until it produces a licence number and an authority that can be checked directly. The company's documented corporate standing is not a substitute: company registration confirms that a company legally exists, while financial regulation confirms that an authority supervises how it handles client money. The first is established here and the second is not.
LOM Financial Limited
LOM Financial Limited is the legal company behind the LOM name. It is registered with the Registrar of Companies in Bermuda under company number 21896, was created on 9 May 1996, is recorded as a Local Company Limited by Shares, and its status is active. It was previously named LOM (Holding) Limited. Its registered and head office address is The LOM Building, 27 Reid Street, Hamilton HM 11, Bermuda, and the published number for that office is +1 441 292 5000.
The group also contains Global Custody and Clearing Limited, Bermuda company number 17893, created on 31 December 1992 and also active, which official records show as the direct and ultimate subsidiary of LOM Financial Limited. Which of these companies would hold a client account, and on what terms, is not established.
Is LOM Safe?
LOM cannot be called safe on the available evidence, and neither can it be called fraudulent. The company behind the brand is real, long established and verifiable on official records, which rules out the most common pattern of an anonymous operator standing behind a new name. Against that, the protections a client would actually rely on, meaning a supervising authority with the power to act on a complaint and a stated commitment on how client money is held, could not be confirmed to exist.
Corporate longevity is not client protection. A company can be thirty years old, properly registered and entirely solvent, and a client with a disputed withdrawal can still find there is no regulator to complain to.
LOM Review and Assessment
LOM presents an uncommon combination: a strongly evidenced corporate identity alongside an unevidenced regulatory position. The practical consequence for a reader is that the usual first question, whether a real and traceable company stands behind the brand, is answered well here, while the question that decides whether money is recoverable is not answered at all.
Anyone considering an account should establish directly with the firm, in writing, which entity would hold the account, which authority licenses that entity and under which number, and how client funds are segregated from company funds. Until those three points are answered, the documented age of the company is not a reason to treat a deposit as protected.
