MultiBank Group Broker Overview
MultiBank Group is a forex and CFD broker brand whose trade name belongs to MEX Group Worldwide Limited, 99 Queens Road, Central, Hong Kong, while its licences are held by separate group companies in several countries. This review covers multibank.link, where accounts are opened with MEX Atlantic Corporation, a Cayman Islands company licensed by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) under licence 1811316. The site offers Standard, Pro and ECN accounts from 200 USD, leverage of up to 500:1, and the MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and MultiBank-Plus platforms.
MultiBank Group Regulation and License
Each licence below belongs to the group company named beside it. Each was listed on the regulator's own register on 24 October 2026:
- MEX Atlantic Corporation: Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), securities investment business licence 1811316. This is the licence behind accounts opened on multibank.link.
- MEX Australia Pty Ltd, trading as MEX Markets (mexmarkets.com): Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), Australian Financial Services Licence 416279, effective since 20 March 2012. MB.IO Pty Ltd is its corporate authorised representative under number 001285048.
- MEX Europe Ltd: Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), Cyprus Investment Firm licence 430/23, dated 22 May 2023. CySEC's list of approved domains names only mexeurope.com for this firm.
- MEX Global Markets Pte. Ltd. (mexglobalmarkets.com): Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), listed as a Capital Markets Services Licensee for dealing in OTC derivatives and spot foreign exchange for leveraged trading. The broker quotes licence number CMS101174, which the MAS directory record does not print.
- MEX Asset Management GmbH, Eschborn: Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), BaFin-ID 10119375, a Wertpapierinstitut (securities institution) with permissions for contract broking, investment broking, investment advice, portfolio management and own-account trading. The broker prints the company's commercial register number, HRB 73406, as its licence number.
- MEX Markets Financial Services LLC, Business Bay, Dubai: the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), which the broker's regulation page calls the UAE Capital Market Authority, licence 20200000477, with permissions for introduction, trading broker in international markets, and trading broker of OTC derivatives and spot currencies.
- MultiBank FX International Corporation, which the broker's regulation page lists as MEX Group FX International Corporation: British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVI FSC), licence SIBA/L/14/1068 in the Dealing as Agent category.
- MEX Pacific (V) Ltd: Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC), financial dealer licence for classes A, B and C, granted on 12 July 2023. The number 700443 that MultiBank quotes is the company number.
- MBIO FZE: Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), licence VL/24/06/001 for broker-dealer and exchange services, issued on 18 July 2024. It covers the group's mb.io crypto exchange, not forex or CFD trading.
Is MultiBank Group Regulated?
Yes, but an account opened on multibank.link is covered by MEX Atlantic Corporation's offshore Cayman Islands licence, not by the group's ASIC, CySEC, MAS or BaFin licences. Those licences belong to other companies and protect the clients of those companies only, and CySEC's approved domain list for MEX Europe Ltd does not include multibank.link.
MEX Atlantic Corporation
MEX Atlantic Corporation, registration number 354945, was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on 29 August 2019 and is registered c/o TMF (Cayman) Ltd, 4th Floor, Monaco Towers, 11 Dr. Roy's Drive, P.O. Box 10338, George Town, Grand Cayman KY1-1003. Its entry on the Cayman Islands General Registry was confirmed through its Legal Entity Identifier record and CIMA's licensee list on 24 October 2026. It is the counterparty in the client agreement linked from multibank.link (version V0012, issued 30 March 2026), deals with clients as principal, and is the only entity offered on the site's withdrawal form. Payments made through Paysafe are processed by another group company, MBFX International Corporation Ltd of Limassol, Cyprus.
MultiBank Group License 1811316
Licence 1811316 is a securities investment business licence held by MEX Atlantic Corporation, which CIMA lists as a broker-dealer licensed on 7 July 2021. CIMA publishes its licensee list as a quarterly PDF. The latest one available on 24 October 2026, dated 30 September 2025, includes the company. Client protection under this licence is limited: there is no investor compensation scheme, the client agreement is governed by Cayman Islands law, and it treats the company's obligations to clients as unsecured.
Is MultiBank Group Safe?
Safety on multibank.link rests on MEX Atlantic Corporation and its offshore licence, not on the protections of the group's onshore companies. Clients of MEX Europe Ltd can turn to the Financial Ombudsman of Cyprus and the Investor Compensation Fund, which covers eligible retail clients up to 20,000 EUR and never investment losses, and clients of MEX Australia Pty Ltd to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), but neither route covers a MEX Atlantic account. MEX Atlantic's risk warning says client funds may not all be held in a segregated account, and that clients can lose more than they deposit and may have to deposit additional sums to cover losses, although the MT4 and MT5 pages advertise negative balance protection.
Regulators have also flagged issues around the brand: the UAE securities regulator, which licenses MEX Markets Financial Services LLC, warns against MEX Atlantic Corporation, and in 2021 the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) warned that introducing brokers had falsely described MultiBank FX International Corporation as DFSA-regulated. The client agreement also lets MEX Atlantic void trades that leave it owing the client money if it reasonably believes the client manipulated its prices, execution or platform (clause 9.10), and hold back part of a credit balance in listed cases, such as an unresolved dispute (clause 17.4).
MultiBank Group Account Types
- Standard: minimum deposit 200 USD, spreads from 1.5 pips, commission-free.
- Pro: minimum deposit 1,000 USD, spreads from 0.8 pips, zero commissions.
- ECN: minimum deposit 1,000 USD, raw spreads from 0.0 pips; the account page states no commission rate.
All three accounts run on MT4 and MT5. Swap-free trading is offered on conditions the broker's documents state differently: clause 9.12 of the client agreement lets a client convert an existing account on request, while MEX Atlantic's Special Trading Terms (version 1.0, dated 28 September 2026) limit the Islamic Swap-Free Account to GCC nationals and give other clients a Regular Swap-Free Account that loses its status if it meets none of three conditions on monthly trading volume, average leverage use (at least 1:50) and average equity (at least 20,000 USD). The same terms define scalping as opening and closing trades within 120 seconds where that makes up more than 70% of activity, and say accounts with excessive scalping may be reviewed.
MultiBank Group Spreads, Commissions and Fees
The site publishes no deposit or withdrawal fees, but the client agreement lets the company charge fees and change them from time to time (clauses 6.1 and 17.3), so a payment method without a published fee should not be assumed to be free. An account with no trades or rollovers for three consecutive months pays an inactivity fee of 60 USD per month (clause 6.7). Swap-free positions can incur storage fees on certain instruments held open for a day or more (clause 9.12.6), and followers on the Social Trading portal pay a performance fee set by the strategy provider.
MultiBank Group Leverage
The Standard, Pro and ECN account pages on multibank.link, and its MT4 and MT5 pages, each give a maximum leverage of 500:1.
MultiBank Group Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are offered for Windows, web, iOS and Android, with separate downloads for MEX Atlantic and MEX Global accounts. The broker's own MultiBank-Plus platform runs as a web app at trade.multibankfx.com and as iOS and Android apps, and copy trading runs on the Social Trading portal at social.mexatlantic.com, where followers copy MT4 and MT5 strategy providers.
The MT4 and MT5 pages advertise 'Full EA functionality' and 'No restrictions on EA', but clause 9.11 of the client agreement says Expert Advisor strategies are not permitted unless the client asks for EA trading and confirms it in advance, and MEX Atlantic may reverse orders placed by an EA on an account that is not set up for it.
MultiBank Group Deposits and Withdrawals
Deposits can be made by Visa and MasterCard, bank and wire transfer, SEPA (minimum 250 EUR) and cryptocurrency (BTC, USDT ERC20 and USDT TRC20), plus local payment services that vary by country. Clients in Mainland China are offered UnionPay, Alipay and cryptocurrency. The site says card and crypto deposits are instant.
Withdrawals are requested in the MyMultiBank client area or by email to withdraw@mexatlantic.com from the email address on the account. MEX Atlantic's withdrawal form says complete requests received by 12:00 PM UK time are processed for same-day value, but intermediary banks can take up to 3 days and international wires several business days. No withdrawal times are published for cards, e-wallets or crypto.
MultiBank Group Support
Support is advertised 24/7 by live chat and WhatsApp (+1 315 961 2414), and by email at cs@mexatlantic.com. The client agreement describes the website's chatbot as an automated AI system. The site is published in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

- The UAE securities regulator warns against MEX Atlantic Corporation.

MultiBank Group Review and Assessment
MultiBank Group operates through licensed companies in several countries, and multibank.link offers a low entry deposit, three platforms and many payment options. The key point before funding an account is which company holds it: on this site it is MEX Atlantic Corporation, under its Cayman Islands licence, so its client agreement, fees and trading rules apply, and the protections of the group's Australian, Cypriot, Singapore and German licences do not.
