Broker Summary
What Wikilix has recorded about MACRO MARKETS: its history, the licences it holds, its trading conditions and its fees.
MACRO MARKETS Broker Overview
MACRO MARKETS is the retail trading brand of Macro Markets Solutions Ltd, a Seychelles company that trades as Macro Markets and runs the client site at . The brand belongs to a group that operates several similarly named companies and several websites across Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Union of Comoros and Seychelles, with a group portal at . Trading is on MetaTrader 4 across two account tiers, with a minimum deposit its account FAQ puts as low as 100 USD, maximum leverage of 1:1000 and around 30 forex pairs alongside crude oil, precious metals, stock indices and contracts for difference on indices and US stocks.
Every trading authorisation the group holds is an offshore one, in Seychelles and in the Union of Comoros. The Australian licence its own portal advertises belongs to an unconnected Australian company, and the Australian regulator has named this operation's website as an impersonation of that licensee. The distance between what is advertised and what is held is the most important thing on this page.
MACRO MARKETS Regulation and License
Macro Markets Solutions Ltd holds Securities Dealer Licence No. SD232 from the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Seychelles, issued under the Securities Act 2007 and confirmed in the company's own name on the authority's register of licensed securities dealers. This is the authorisation the client site names, and the one that covers accounts opened under the Macro Markets brand. Seychelles is a low tier offshore jurisdiction: the register publishes neither licence numbers nor dates, there is no retail leverage cap, and no compensation scheme stands behind a licensed firm.
Two further entries sit elsewhere in the group, each held by a different company:
Union of Comoros. Macro Global Markets Ltd holds licence L16030 from the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority, recorded as running from 8 May 2025 to 8 May 2027, and operates the site at . Anjouan is among the weakest jurisdictions in use and provides essentially no supervision of how client money is handled.
Hong Kong. Macro Markets Solutions Limited is Class AA member No. 229 of the Hong Kong Gold Exchange, and runs the precious metals site at . That is an exchange trading right for spot gold and silver rather than a securities or derivatives licence, and it does not stand in place of authorisation by Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission, which appears nowhere in the group's claims.
Macro Global Markets NZ Limited, New Zealand company 8240641 incorporated on 29 September 2021, has been on New Zealand's Financial Service Providers Register as FSP1010807 since 6 December 2025. The register lists one service, a wholesale, non-custodial client money or property service, and says the company serves no retail clients. Neither the register nor the group gives a website for it. A provider register entry records that a company has registered; it is not a markets regulator's authorisation to deal.
The Australian licence is another company's. The group portal states that Macro Global Markets Pty Ltd is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) under licence number 363972. That licence exists and is in force, but it is held by Macro Global Markets Pty Ltd, ACN 142 210 179, of 25 Bligh Street, Sydney, a separate company with no connection to this operation. ASIC has placed the Macro Markets website on its investor alert list as an impersonation of that licensee. The Sydney company publishes its own warning that imitation websites are using its name, that its only sites are macrogmsecurities.com.au and macrogm.com.au, and that it is working with regulators to have the copies closed down. No part of the Australian regime reaches an account opened with Macro Markets.
Is MACRO MARKETS Regulated?
Offshore, yes; in Australia, no. An account opened under the Macro Markets name is held by Macro Markets Solutions Ltd under Seychelles Securities Dealer Licence SD232, and the group's only other trading licence is the Anjouan one. Neither jurisdiction brings the capital requirements, client money rules, leverage limits or dispute scheme a reader would associate with an onshore regulator, and the Australian authorisation the group advertises is not available to its clients in any form.
Macro Markets Solutions Ltd and the Macro Group
MACRO is a brand used by several companies rather than by a single operator, as the group's own portal states. Macro Markets Solutions Ltd, incorporated in the Republic of Seychelles, is named in the client site's footer and is the company a retail client contracts with there. Macro Markets Solutions Limited is the Hong Kong company, which gives its business registration number as 68609094 and an address at Office B, 28/F, Plaza 88, 88 Yeung Uk Road, Tsuen Wan, and which runs both the bullion site and a forex site at . Macro Global Markets Ltd is incorporated in the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, and Macro Global Markets NZ Limited in New Zealand.
Two of those names differ only by Ltd and Limited, so the distinction is easy to miss, and it decides which licence and which recourse apply to an account. These registrations are recorded as the group's own statements; they have not been checked against the corporate registries of the jurisdictions concerned.
Is MACRO MARKETS Safe?
The protections behind this brand are thin, and one feature of its conduct counts heavily against it. A confirmed Seychelles licence means the operating company is registered and supervised in form, which is better than nothing, but it does not segregate a deposit under a statutory scheme, cap leverage or provide an ombudsman. The Anjouan licence gives less still, and the Hong Kong membership covers bullion dealing rather than contracts for difference.
Against that, the group advertises an Australian licence it does not hold, and an official Australian investor alert names its website as an impersonation of the real licensee. Misstating regulatory standing is a serious matter whatever the quality of the service behind it, because regulatory standing is exactly what a client relies on when a withdrawal is refused. No client money arrangement, funding schedule or audited financial information could be confirmed for the Seychelles company.
MACRO MARKETS Account Types
Two tiers are recorded, Standard and ECN, and both carry the same maximum leverage of 1:1000. No minimum deposit is published for either tier (the FAQ on the account types page says Macro's minimum deposits start as low as 100 USD, without naming an account), and no per tier spread or commission figure is published either, which leaves the practical difference between the two unstated in the group's own material. A swap free option is recorded for clients who need positions held without overnight interest.
MACRO MARKETS Spreads, Commissions and Fees
Pricing is on variable spreads, and no separate per trade commission is recorded for either tier. No representative or average spread figure is published, so the real cost of a trade cannot be stated, and an ECN account carrying no stated commission is worth clarifying before funding. Execution is recorded as straight through processing.
MACRO MARKETS Leverage
Maximum leverage is 1:1000, the same on the Standard and the ECN tier. Neither Seychelles nor Anjouan imposes a retail leverage cap, and at 1:1000 an adverse move of a tenth of one percent is enough to consume the margin behind a fully used position.
MACRO MARKETS Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 4 is the platform the broker publishes builds for, covering Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, and it is the platform named for every market on offer. MetaTrader 5 is referred to on the company's About page, but its platform download and market pages list MetaTrader 4 builds only, so MT5 availability is not confirmed. No proprietary platform is recorded.
MACRO MARKETS Deposits and Withdrawals
No deposit or withdrawal method is confirmed for this brand, and no fee, minimum, maximum or processing window is recorded, so neither the cost nor the timing of a withdrawal can be stated here. Anyone opening an account should settle the available methods, the charges and the processing times with the company in writing first.
MACRO MARKETS Support
Support runs through the Help Center on the client site, with a general email address at support@macrogm.com, a Hong Kong telephone number on +852 2726 5008, live chat during business hours and a stated response time of up to 72 hours. Support is available in English only, even though the group's companies span Hong Kong, New Zealand, Seychelles and the Union of Comoros.
MACRO MARKETS Pros and Cons
Strengths.
A Securities Dealer licence confirmed in the operating company's own name on the Seychelles regulator's register.
A low entry deposit, which the broker's account FAQ puts as low as 100 USD.
MetaTrader 4 builds across desktop and mobile, and a swap free option.
Limitations.
The group advertises an Australian licence held by an unconnected company, and the Australian regulator lists its website as an impersonation of that licensee.
Every authorisation it does hold is offshore, with no compensation scheme behind it.
No deposit or withdrawal method, fee or processing time is confirmed.
No average spread or commission schedule is published, and the two account tiers are not meaningfully differentiated.
Several similarly named companies across four jurisdictions make it hard to tell which one holds an account.
MetaTrader 5 availability is not confirmed, and support is recorded in English only.
MACRO MARKETS Review and Assessment
MACRO MARKETS is a multi entity offshore group whose retail offering is run from Seychelles under Securities Dealer Licence SD232, with MetaTrader 4, an entry deposit from 100 USD by its own account FAQ, leverage to 1:1000 and two thinly differentiated tiers. The decisive question here is not the trading proposition but the regulatory one: the Australian credential the group puts in front of readers belongs to a company it has no connection with, and that sits on the Australian regulator's own record rather than being a matter of opinion. Anyone considering an account should establish which company would hold the money and under which authority, obtain the withdrawal terms and costs in writing, and treat leverage of 1:1000 as the risk it is.

What our check found
Membership number 229 on the exchange's recognised e-trading member list, held by Macro Markets Solutions Limited. This is membership of a Hong Kong bullion exchange, which permits gold and silver dealing, and is not authorisation by a government financial regulator. Hong Kong's statutory regulator for securities and futures is the Securities and Futures Commission, which does not appear anywhere in this group's claims. Client protection: Very low. Exchange membership for bullion trading, not financial regulation and not protection for a CFD deposit.

How we know — 7 sources
1The refused countries come from the disclaimer in the footer of the broker's site, which reads: "The entities above do not offer services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the USA, Canada, Iran, North Korea, Europe, the United Kingdom, Russia, Belarus, and others." The seven countries it names are refused: the United States, Canada, Iran, North Korea, the United Kingdom, Russia and Belarus. Source: https://www.macromarkets.sc/home
2"Europe" is a region, not a country, so it does not count as a confirmed refusal. It is read as the European Union and European Economic Area: the 27 EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, all listed as probably refused. Other European states the page does not name, such as Switzerland, Ukraine and Serbia, are not enumerated. The United Kingdom is named separately in the same sentence, so it is refused. Source: https://www.macromarkets.sc/home
3The disclaimer closes with "and others", an open-ended category the broker does not enumerate. No country is recorded on that wording. Source: https://www.macromarkets.sc/home
4The site names the parent countries but never their dependent territories. Their inhabited territories therefore fall under the parent's block and are not confirmed refusals in their own right. For the United States these are Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands. For the United Kingdom they are Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Anguilla, Montserrat, the Falkland Islands, Saint Helena and the Pitcairn Islands. Uninhabited territories are not listed, and no dependent territory is derived from "Europe", because that block is itself inferred. Source: https://www.macromarkets.sc/home
5No country is shown as accepted. The broker publishes no accepted-countries list, and its account-opening flow cannot be reached to read the country selector that would show which jurisdictions it actually onboards: the Log in, Register Now and Demo Account controls on the English site are not wired to any destination, and the account portal address published in the site's own code does not resolve. Absence of a block is never acceptance.
6The broker's own Terms and Conditions, Risk Disclosure Statement, Privacy Policy and the Close Loop Policy governing deposits and withdrawals were each read in full, and none of them names a restricted country, territory or region. The Terms and Conditions treats onboarding only as identity and anti-money-laundering verification. The site publishes no restricted-countries page, no help-centre article on eligibility and no separate anti-money-laundering or know-your-customer policy, and its partner programme states that partners are sought worldwide without exclusions. Terms and Conditions: https://images.cigws.com/juhui-prod/2025/05/23/89925d3b-890d-4c6a-bf6d-a707e446b4f5.pdf
7The broker publishes the same site in English and in Chinese. The Chinese edition carries a narrower disclaimer, saying only that its content is not applicable to residents of the United States and not for distribution or use where that would breach local law. The English edition is the more specific and the more recent of the two, so it governs. The narrower Chinese wording takes no country off the refused list. Source: https://cn.macromarkets.sc/home

Company Registration
MACRO MARKETS names Macro Markets Solutions Ltd as the operating company. We could not confirm that registration on the registry.
4 other brokers on the record share what MACRO MARKETS offers — its country, regulator, account types or platforms — set beside it on the same measures.
No. Australian Financial Services Licence 363972 is held by Macro Global Markets Pty Ltd, ACN 142 210 179, a Sydney company that is a separate business from this operation and publishes a notice that its only websites are macrogmsecurities.com.au and macrogm.com.au.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission lists the Macro Markets website on its investor alert list as an impersonation of that licensee and states the licensee has no connection with it. Nothing on the Australian register applies to an account opened through Macro Markets.
Macro Markets directs clients to its Help Center at . It also records a general email address, support@macrogm.com, a Hong Kong telephone number on +852 2726 5008, live chat during business hours and a stated response time of up to 72 hours. Support is recorded in English only.
Macro Markets prices on variable spreads, and no separate per trade commission is recorded for either of its account tiers. The broker publishes no representative or average spread figure, so the real cost of a trade cannot be stated from its own material. Confirm the spread and any commission on the ECN tier with the broker before funding an account.
Macro Markets records around 30 forex pairs, and the group's own site lists forex, crude oil, precious metals, stock indices and contracts for difference on indices and US stocks among the services it offers. No counts are published for those non forex classes, so the size of each range cannot be stated, and availability can differ between the group's sites.
Yes, a swap free option is recorded for Macro Markets, which removes overnight interest on positions held past the daily rollover. The broker does not publish which instruments or which account tiers the option covers, or whether an administration charge replaces the swap, so those terms need confirming with the broker directly.
Macro Markets offers two account tiers, Standard and ECN. Both carry the same maximum leverage of 1:1000, and the broker publishes no separate minimum deposit, spread or commission figure for either, so the practical difference between them is not set out in its own material.
The client site, macromarkets.sc, is run by Macro Markets Solutions Ltd of the Republic of Seychelles, which trades as Macro Markets and holds Seychelles Securities Dealer Licence SD232. It is the company a retail client contracts with. Three further companies use the same brand, each in a different role. Macro Markets Solutions Limited in Hong Kong is a member of the Hong Kong Gold Exchange and runs the bullion site macrobullion.com. Macro Global Markets Ltd in the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, holds an Anjouan licence and runs macrokm.com. Macro Global Markets NZ Limited in New Zealand is registered only for a wholesale service and serves no retail clients.
Macro Global Markets Pty Ltd of Sydney, the Australian company whose licence the group's own portal advertises, is a separate business with no connection to this operation. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission lists the Macro Markets website on its investor alert list as an impersonation of that licensee.
Macro Markets offers a maximum leverage of up to 1:1000. The same cap is recorded for both its Standard and its ECN account, and leverage at that level magnifies losses as much as gains.
Macro Markets publishes no minimum deposit for either of its tiers, Standard and ECN, so the account table shows none. The FAQ on its account types page says Macro's minimum deposits start as low as 100 USD, without saying which account that is, and that different account types may have different minimums. Confirm the minimum for the account you want before you register.
No deposit or withdrawal method is confirmed for Macro Markets. No payment method, fee, minimum, maximum or processing window is recorded for the brand, so neither the cost nor the timing of a withdrawal can be stated.
Anyone opening an account should settle the available methods, the charges and the processing times with the company in writing before funding it.
MetaTrader 4 is the platform Macro Markets publishes builds for, covering Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. MetaTrader 5 is referred to on the company's own About page, but its platform download and market pages list MetaTrader 4 builds only, so MT5 availability is not confirmed.
Macro Markets Solutions Ltd holds Securities Dealer Licence No. SD232 from the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles, confirmed in that company's name on the authority's own register, and Macro Global Markets Ltd holds licence L16030 from the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority. Both are low tier offshore authorisations with no compensation scheme behind them, and the Hong Kong company's Class AA member number 229 is bullion exchange membership rather than financial regulation.
The Australian Financial Services Licence 363972 the group advertises is not its own. It belongs to Macro Global Markets Pty Ltd of Sydney, an unconnected company, and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission lists the Macro Markets website on its investor alert list as an impersonation of that licensee. No onshore protection applies to money placed with Macro Markets.
