Broker Summary
Summary of the broker
Maxco is the retail trading brand of PT Maxco Futures, an Indonesian futures brokerage operating from Jl. Jend. Sudirman Kav-1, Senayan, Jakarta Pusat. It is a domestically focused firm rather than an international CFD group: its permissions, its exchange membership and its client base all sit inside Indonesia.
Regulation. Maxco holds a Forex Trading License (EP) numbered 353/BAPPEBTI/SI/IV/2004 from Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi, Indonesia's statutory commodity futures regulator, issued to PT. MAXCO FUTURES and covering forex, futures and financial derivatives trading. It also holds a Derivatives Trading License (AGN) numbered SPAB-057/BBJ/12/03 through the Jakarta Futures Exchange, which is exchange membership rather than a government licence in its own right. Both were confirmed as in force during this review. Neither authorisation was verified directly against the issuing register during this review, and BAPPEBTI's regime is designed for Indonesian residents trading domestically, not for cross-border clients.
Trading offer. Around 70 instruments across forex, metals, futures and share CFDs, on variable spreads, with a commission of USD 1 per lot and leverage up to 1:500. Accounts can be denominated in US dollars or Indonesian rupiah. The headline minimum deposit is USD 100. A demo account with USD 10,000 of virtual funds and a one-month validity is offered alongside the live account.
Platforms. MetaTrader 4 on a full licence, with the live server Maxco-Real hosted in Indonesia and expert advisors supported, plus a browser-based WebTrader and a mobile app.
Funding. Local Indonesian bank transfer in rupiah or US dollars. Deposits and withdrawals are processed on business days, with same-day handling for requests placed before the daily cut-off.
Who it suits. Indonesian residents who want a domestically licensed futures broker, a familiar local payment rail and MetaTrader 4. It is a poor fit for traders outside Indonesia: the leverage on offer is far above what onshore regulators in Europe, the UK or Australia permit, and the Indonesian framework offers no recourse a foreign client could realistically use.
Caveats. The company's registration could not be confirmed in the Indonesian corporate registry during this review, so the legal entity behind the brand rests on the firm's own disclosure and the name printed on its licence. The public website did not serve requests from outside its home market during this review, which means the published trading conditions, account terms, funding fees and country restrictions could not be read first-hand. Treat every commercial figure above as indicative and confirm it with the broker before funding an account.
