51 out of 100 · 55% checked· Provisional

The licences it claims have not been checked on any official register.

We checked MET on 2026-10-23 across its regulation, company record, client terms, trading offer and service, and could verify 55% of its record. It claims 1 licence on its site, but none has been checked on an official register yet. The score of 51 is what the checked record adds up to; nothing held it down. The rating stays provisional until a claimed licence is checked on an official register. What would move the score: licence held by the onboarding entity, verified age, transparency. No investigation has been published yet, so complaints and reputation are unknown. Its client terms have not been reviewed yet.

Broker Summary

What Wikilix has recorded about MET: its history, the licences it holds, its trading conditions and its fees.

MET Broker Overview

MET is MET Facilities LLP, a London firm that provides FCA regulatory hosting to other businesses. It is not a retail forex or CFD broker. Its website, metfacilities.com, offers no trading accounts, trading platforms or deposit methods. MET Facilities LLP is authorised by the FCA under FRN 587084, and it has been in liquidation since 17 March 2025.

The website describes a "regulatory hosting umbrella" for funds, start-ups, fintechs and financial services firms. A client firm is set up as an Appointed Representative and works under the permissions of MET Facilities LLP, which takes on the client's compliance oversight, training and risk monitoring. The site lists asset managers, brokers, crowdfunders, funds, fintechs and wealth managers among the businesses it works with. Its footer reads "Met Facilities LLP / Met Group".

MET Regulation and License

MET Facilities LLP is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom under Firm Reference Number (FRN) 587084. As checked on 17 October 2026, the FCA Financial Services Register shows the status "Authorised" since 14 January 2013 and the type "Regulated". The record gives www.metfacilities.com as the website and OC373244 as the Companies House number, so it is the same firm. The website footer states: "Met Facilities LLP is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 587084)".

The register lists these permissions under Investments:

  • Advising on investments (except on Pension Transfers and Pension Opt Outs)
  • Advising on P2P agreements
  • Arranging (bringing about) deals in investments
  • Arranging safeguarding and administration of assets
  • Dealing in investments as agent
  • Making arrangements with a view to transactions in investments
  • Managing an unauthorised AIF
  • Managing investments

The list does not include dealing in investments as principal. The register states that the firm cannot hold client money. It also records two other requirements: "Small Authorised UK AIFM (Sub-Threshold)" since 8 July 2014, and a "BIPRU firm MiFID activity restriction" since 14 January 2014.

Is MET Regulated?

Yes, MET Facilities LLP is authorised by the FCA under FRN 587084, but the FCA register shows that the firm is in an insolvency process. The register's notice, "ATTENTION - Firm in an insolvency process", says the firm "is under the control of the appointed insolvency office holder(s) and may have stopped taking on new business".

The FCA register lists 99 former appointed representatives of MET Facilities LLP, each with its own reference number and the dates the arrangement started and ended. The register states that MET Facilities LLP was responsible for their regulated activities only during those dates.

MET Facilities LLP

MET Facilities LLP is a limited liability partnership registered at Companies House under number OC373244. It was incorporated on 12 March 2012 as Frognal Asset Management LLP and took its current name in March 2013. The FCA register also shows a former trading name, Raynar Portfolio Management, used from 28 January 2020 to 6 February 2024.

As checked on 17 October 2026, Companies House shows the company status as "Liquidation". Its insolvency record shows a creditors' voluntary liquidation, with winding up commenced on 17 March 2025, and names Jason Callender and Jamie Taylor as practitioners. On 3 April 2025 the registered office moved to Olympia House, Armitage Road, London NW11 8RQ, the address Companies House gives for Jason Callender.

MET Support

The website gives the phone number +44 (0)20 7604 5777, the email info@metfacilities.com and an office at 77-79 Maygrove Road, West Hampstead, London NW6 2EG. Its complaints page asks for complaints by email to info@metfacilities.com, marked "Complaint". It says that if it cannot give a final response within 8 weeks it will explain why, and that a complainant who is unhappy with the final response, or has waited 8 weeks, can go to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

The FCA register now gives the firm's address as Olympia House, Armitage Road, London NW11 8RQ, with the phone number +44 20 7280 8873.
