Is Oro Capital Group a scam?

High risk (unverified)MEDIUM confidence
Updated September 24, 2026
Unverified offshore broker, crypto-only funding

We found no evidence that Oro Capital Group is a scam, and no evidence of fraud, but it is too new and too thinly documented to be treated as safe. We are publishing a risk figure of 65 percent.

  • The only authority it names is the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA) in the Comoros, licence BFX2025031. MISA is an island registrar, not a functioning financial supervisor, and it protects nothing.
  • MISA's published list of authorised brokerage companies runs only to December 2024 and the authority offers no licence-number search, so a 2025 licence cannot be confirmed on the issuer's own pages. The number does appear against ORO CAPITAL GROUP LTD in a reproduction of MISA's 2025 licence series, which is reassuring but is not the register itself.
  • Deposits are accepted in cryptocurrency only. There is no card, bank transfer or e-wallet option, which means there is no chargeback route if something goes wrong.
  • orocapitalgroup.com was registered on 26 May 2025, so the operation is roughly sixteen months old. Its Trustpilot profile was claimed in September 2026 and carries zero reviews.
  • No regulator warning, no enforcement action and no fraud-related court record names this company or this website.

Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.

Worst area: High

Regulation

7/10 · High

Only a Comoros MISA brokerage registration, an authority that supervises nothing and protects no deposits, and it could not be confirmed on the issuer's own pages because MISA's published list stops at December 2024. Not scored higher because the number is not fabricated, is not another firm's, and no tier-one licence is falsely claimed.

Identity & transparency

7/10 · High

Legal entity, company number, licence number and registered agent are disclosed consistently across the site, the legal documents and the client portal, but there is no office address, no telephone number, no named owners or management, and the messaging channels are not yet operational.

Withdrawals & conduct

4/10 · Moderate

No fund-integrity complaints of any kind were found, and no advance-fee demands. Neither is there any evidence of a withdrawal ever completing, and crypto-only funding means a disputed payment cannot be reversed, so silence here cannot be credited as a clean payout record.

Reputation

6/10 · High

No footprint at all across the platforms checked: the Trustpilot profile was claimed in September 2026 with zero reviews, and there are no forum or community accounts either positive or negative. For a firm soliciting deposits, a total absence of trace is a signal in itself.

Website claims

5/10 · Moderate

No fabricated history, no fake awards and no guaranteed-profit language, and the risk warnings are prominent. Marked mid-scale because the site presents a MISA registration as regulation without qualifying it, and describes client money as held in segregated accounts where the contract provides for pooled trust accounts.

Operational history

6/10 · High

Roughly sixteen months of verifiable existence from a domain registered on 26 May 2025, with no predecessor brand or older site behind it. The operating company could not be dated because the Comoros registry publishes no public search, so even that short figure is an upper bound.

Who they are

  • Only licence: MISA brokerage licence BFX2025031 (Comoros). No other authority is named anywhere on the site

Licences the broker publishes

Mwali International Services Authority (MISA)

VerifiedTier 4Limited relevance
A company and brokerage registrar on Mwali, an autonomous island of the Comoros with roughly 38,000 inhabitants. It issues paper licences for a fee. It does not supervise conduct, audit client money, impose capital requirements or operate any compensation scheme, and the Comoros central bank has publicly distanced itself from these licences.
Protection: Effectively none. No compensation scheme, no ombudsman, no capital or audit requirement, and no authority that will pursue a complaint on a client's behalf.Official register
The Mwali International Services Authority list of authorised brokerage companies. The published list ends with a licence issued on 24 December 2024 and contains no 2025 entries, so licence BFX2025031 cannot be displayed on the issuer's own page.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

Nothing we found shows this broker taking money and refusing to return it. What we found instead is an operation that cannot yet be checked, funded in a way that leaves clients no recourse. That combination is what the 65 percent reflects. It is a statement about how little can be established, not a finding of misconduct.

  • The licence is real-looking but weak, and unconfirmed at source. MISA's own published list of authorised brokerage companies ends with a licence issued on 24 December 2024 and contains no 2025 entries at all, and the authority publishes no licence-number search. Licence BFX2025031 does appear against ORO CAPITAL GROUP LTD, in correct sequence within MISA's 2025 series, in a third-party reproduction of that register. On that evidence the number is very unlikely to be invented and very unlikely to belong to another firm, but it is not confirmation from the issuer.
  • MISA protects nobody. Mwali is an autonomous island of about 38,000 people. Its registrar sells company and brokerage papers; it does not supervise conduct, audit client money or run a compensation scheme, and the Comoros central bank has publicly distanced itself from these licences. A MISA number beside the words regulated by carries close to no practical weight.
  • Crypto-only funding removes every consumer protection. The funding page offers cryptocurrency deposits and nothing else. No card, no bank transfer, no e-wallet. A card payment can be reversed by the issuing bank; a transfer to a wallet cannot. For a broker with no meaningful supervision, this is the single most consequential design choice on the site.
  • The operation is about sixteen months old. The domain was registered on 26 May 2025 and its first certificate was issued the same day, so there is no older site hiding behind it and no predecessor brand. The company behind it could not be dated because the Comoros registry publishes no public entity search, so the sixteen-month figure is an upper bound resting on the domain alone. The licence sits in MISA's 2025 series, which points the same way.
  • There is no community footprint whatsoever. The Trustpilot profile for orocapitalgroup.com was claimed in September 2026 and holds zero reviews. We found no complaint threads, no forum discussion and no user accounts of either a successful or a failed withdrawal. A real brokerage with real clients leaves some trace. An absence this complete tells us the client base is very small or very new, and it means silence cannot be read as a clean record.
  • Accountability is thin. There is no telephone number, no office address beyond the registered agent's mail drop in Fomboni, no named directors or management, and no company history page. The Telegram and WhatsApp channels are advertised as coming soon. Email is the only working way to reach anyone.
  • One scope point. The excluded-countries list covers the United States, Belgium, Canada, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, but not the United Kingdom or the wider European Union. A Comoros registration authorises nothing in those markets.
  • An allegation we tested and could not stand up. One broker directory labels this company a clone firm and states that it took its details from a compliant company. We checked the licence number ourselves. It resolves to ORO CAPITAL GROUP LTD, the same entity named in the footer, the client agreement and the client portal. We found no borrowed licence number, no borrowed entity name and no borrowed address, so we have not recorded impersonation against this broker.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

The fair case for Oro Capital Group is stronger than its risk score suggests, and it deserves to be set out.

  • It does not lie about its regulation. Many offshore brokers claim a tier-one licence they do not hold, or dress a company registration up as supervision. This one names a single authority, prints the licence number on every page, and does not claim the FCA, CySEC, ASIC or anyone else.
  • It does not lie about its age. There is no since 2010 banner, no invented decade of history, no fabricated awards and no guaranteed-profit language. For a broker this new, that restraint is rare and it counts.
  • The paperwork is real. The client agreement is a full retail terms-of-business document with a proper client-money section: money held in trust, in separately designated accounts, pooled across clients with a rateable claim. There is no bonus lock, no volume trap and no clause letting the firm refuse withdrawals at will.
  • The disclosure is internally consistent. The same legal entity, company number, licence number and registered agent appear on the main site, in the legal documents and inside the client portal. Clones usually contradict themselves somewhere.
  • Nobody has reported losing money. There are no withdrawal complaints, no frozen-account reports and no advance-fee demands anywhere we looked. No regulator has warned about this domain, and it is not on the CFTC's RED List.
  • The registered agent is genuine. Moheli Corporate Services Ltd holds MISA trust licence T19990001 and appears on the authority's own list, so the registered office is a real, licensed agent rather than an invented address.
  • Offshore is not the same as fraudulent. Hundreds of brokers operate on Comoros, Seychelles or Vanuatu papers and pay their clients. A weak licence raises what you stand to lose if things go wrong; it does not prove anything has.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

This verdict rests on absence, so it should move as evidence appears. Any of the following would change it.

  • Toward a lower risk score: MISA extending its published brokerage list into 2025 so that BFX2025031 and ORO CAPITAL GROUP Ltd can be read on the authority's own pages.
  • The introduction of card or bank-transfer funding alongside cryptocurrency, which would restore a chargeback route for clients.
  • A visible payout record. Twelve to eighteen months of independent reviews describing withdrawals that completed, with amounts and dates, across more than one platform.
  • Publication of a real office address, a working telephone number and the names of the people who run the firm.
  • Toward a higher risk score: any credible, specific report of a withdrawal being refused, delayed indefinitely, or released only after a further payment was demanded. A demand for a fee, tax or insurance payment before funds are released is the advance-fee pattern and would change this assessment immediately.
  • A warning or alert from any regulator naming orocapitalgroup.com or ORO CAPITAL GROUP Ltd.
  • Evidence that the licence number, the company number or the registered address belongs to a different company.
  • The appearance of the same site template under other brand names, which would point to a network rather than a single firm.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

13 questions
Is Oro Capital Group a scam?

We found no evidence that it is. There are no withdrawal complaints, no regulator warnings and no reports of anyone losing money. But we also cannot call it safe. It is about sixteen months old, holds only a Comoros MISA registration that protects nothing, and takes deposits in cryptocurrency only. We rate it 65 percent risk, which reflects how little can be verified rather than misconduct we found.

Is Oro Capital Group a fraud?

No regulator or court has said so. We found no regulator warning, no enforcement action and no fraud-related court record naming ORO CAPITAL GROUP Ltd or orocapitalgroup.com, and it does not appear on the CFTC's RED List. That is not a clean bill of health, because the firm is new enough that problems may simply not have surfaced yet, but at the time of writing there is no fraud finding against it.

Is Oro Capital Group regulated?

Only in the weakest sense. It names one authority, the Mwali International Services Authority in the Comoros, under brokerage licence BFX2025031. MISA is a registrar on a small autonomous island, not a functioning financial supervisor. It does not audit client money, supervise conduct or operate a compensation scheme, and it is not recognised by any major regulator.

Did you confirm the licence BFX2025031 is real?

Not at source. MISA's published list of authorised brokerage companies stops at a licence issued in December 2024 and includes no 2025 entries, and the authority offers no licence-number search. The number does appear against ORO CAPITAL GROUP LTD, in correct sequence within MISA's 2025 series, in a third-party reproduction of that register. That makes an invented or borrowed number unlikely, but it falls short of confirmation by the issuer.

Is my money safe with Oro Capital Group?

There is no safety net. A Comoros registration carries no compensation scheme and no ombudsman, so if the firm fails or refuses to pay there is no authority that will recover your funds. The client agreement says client money is held in trust in separately designated, pooled accounts, but nobody independently audits whether that happens.

Can I withdraw my money from Oro Capital Group?

We cannot say. We found no reports of withdrawals being refused, and equally no reports of withdrawals succeeding. There is no public payout record at all. Because deposits are crypto only, a transfer you send cannot be reversed by a bank or card issuer, so we would test a full withdrawal with a small balance before committing more.

Why does the crypto-only deposit method matter so much?

It removes your last line of defence. If you fund by card and a broker will not pay you back, your card issuer can reverse the payment. A cryptocurrency transfer is final. Combined with a regulator that will not intervene, it means the only party who can return your money is the broker itself.

How old is Oro Capital Group?

The website orocapitalgroup.com was registered on 26 May 2025 and its first security certificate was issued the same day, so the operation is roughly sixteen months old. The Comoros registry publishes no public company search, so the incorporation date of ORO CAPITAL GROUP Ltd could not be established and sixteen months should be read as an upper bound. To its credit, the broker advertises no founding year and claims no longer history.

Is Oro Capital Group a clone of another broker?

We do not believe so. One broker directory labels it a clone firm, so we checked. The licence number resolves to ORO CAPITAL GROUP LTD, which is the same entity named in the website footer, the client agreement and the client portal. We found no licence number, company name, registration number or address belonging to another company, so we have not recorded impersonation.

Who owns and runs Oro Capital Group?

The firm does not say. There is no about page, no management team and no named directors anywhere on the site. The only address published is that of its registered agent, Moheli Corporate Services Ltd, in Fomboni, Comoros. That agent is genuine and licensed by MISA, but a registered agent is a mail address, not an office.

Why are there no reviews of Oro Capital Group anywhere?

Its Trustpilot profile was claimed in September 2026 and holds zero reviews, and we found no complaint threads or forum discussion either. The most likely explanation is that the firm is new and has very few clients. It is worth knowing, though, that a complete absence of feedback is not the same as good feedback, and it is one reason our risk figure is not lower.

What should I check before depositing with any offshore broker?

Four things. Find the licence number on the regulator's own website, not just the broker's. Check what that regulator actually does, because many offshore registrars supervise nothing. Confirm you can fund by a reversible method such as a card. And test a full withdrawal with a small balance before you send a meaningful amount.

Which countries does Oro Capital Group not accept?

Its legal pages exclude residents of the United States, Belgium, Canada, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. The United Kingdom and the European Union are not on that exclusion list, even though a Comoros registration authorises nothing in either market. The site is published in English, Arabic and Persian and is marketed mainly at traders in the Middle East.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat Oro Capital Group as unproven rather than as either safe or dishonest, and size any exposure accordingly.

  • Do not deposit money you cannot afford to lose. A Comoros registration gives you no compensation scheme, no ombudsman and no regulator that will take up your case.
  • Understand what crypto-only funding means. Once a transfer leaves your wallet there is no bank, card issuer or payment provider that can reverse it. This is the most important single fact on this page.
  • If you still want to try the firm, start small and test the exit first. Fund the minimum, trade briefly, then withdraw the full balance and confirm it arrives before sending anything more. Test the way out before you commit.
  • Never pay a fee to release your own money. No legitimate broker requires a tax, unlocking fee, insurance payment or margin top-up before it will process a withdrawal. Such a request is the point to stop paying and start documenting.
  • Keep records from day one. Save deposit confirmations, wallet addresses, transaction hashes, account statements and every message from staff. Without a regulator, documentation is the only leverage you have.
  • Check back before adding funds. This is a young operation with no public track record. Its risk profile could improve or deteriorate quickly.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears. Review scores are treated with caution when a broker’s reviews look manipulated. Last reviewed September 24, 2026.
