Broker Summary
Summary of the broker
Oval Markets is the trade name of Oval Ltd, a company incorporated in the Republic of Seychelles and authorised by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under Securities Dealer Licence number SD221. We confirmed the company itself on the official Seychelles Business Register, which lists OVAL LTD under company number C810617 in the financial services category, alongside a separate registration for the Oval Markets business name. That matches the company number the broker publishes on its own site, and the registered office it gives at Suite 3, Jivan's Complex, Global Village, Mont Fleuri, Mahe, Seychelles.
The offering is deliberately narrow. Oval Markets provides CFDs on foreign exchange, precious metals, energy and global indices, and it does so on a single platform: MetaTrader 4. There is no MT5, no cTrader and no proprietary terminal. Trading is offered on an execution-only basis, so the broker states plainly that it gives no investment advice and provides no portfolio management or discretionary service. Accounts are opened and managed through a separate client dashboard, and new live accounts are requested there as MT4 accounts.
What the broker does not publish is as important as what it does. Its public pages carry no spread table, no commission schedule, no leverage cap, no minimum deposit and no instrument counts. Its funding page names bank transfers only as an example of what payment methods "may include", and gives no fee schedule, processing time or amount limits; it adds that bank and third-party payment charges may apply and are not set by the broker. Withdrawals are generally returned to the method used for the deposit. A prospective client therefore cannot compare the cost of trading here against another broker before registering and reaching the platform, which is where the broker says fees will be disclosed.
Regulation, read honestly. A Seychelles Securities Dealer Licence is a real licence and we confirmed this one is in force, but it sits at the light-touch end of global supervision. It carries no client-fund insurance and no statutory compensation scheme, so a client of an FSA-licensed firm has no deposit protection comparable to the UK, the EU or Australia. Disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, which makes practical recourse from most client countries slow and expensive. The broker does not claim any onshore licence, and we found none.
The broker states that its services are not offered to residents of the United States, Iran, North Korea, the United Kingdom or the European Union, and it flags that list as non-exhaustive. Support is English-language, quoted at 24/5, by telephone, email and WhatsApp; there is no live chat and the footer's social icons are unlinked placeholders.
Who it suits. Experienced MT4 traders who specifically want an offshore Seychelles counterparty, understand that no compensation scheme stands behind their balance, and are willing to register before they can see pricing. It is a poor fit for anyone who wants onshore protection, published costs, a choice of platforms, or a documented multi-year operating record. Our main reservations are the near-total absence of published commercial terms, the very short verifiable operating history, and the thin public disclosure around the people running the firm. Treat position sizing accordingly and test a withdrawal early.
