Broker Summary
Summary of the broker
Prometheus Markets is the trading brand of Prometheus Markets Ltd, a company incorporated in the Republic of Seychelles under company number 8439123-1 and authorised by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority as a Securities Dealer under the Securities Act 2007, licence number SD240. The broker offers forex and CFDs on indices, commodities, shares, ETFs and cryptocurrencies from a single multi-asset account, and states that more than 600 markets are available.
The commercial offering is built around one live account, an ECN account with floating spreads advertised from 0.0 pips, leverage up to 1:500 and a minimum deposit of $100, EUR100 or GBP100. Commission is charged separately and falls as balance and traded volume rise: FX commission runs from $3.50 per lot per side below a $1,000 balance to $1.50 per lot per side above $250,000, index CFDs carry no commission at any tier, and share and crypto CFDs are charged as a percentage per side. Margin call sits at 100% and stop out at 50%, with a minimum trade size of 0.01 lot. A Sharia-compliant swap-free variant is available on request, where an overnight commission equivalent to the standard swap replaces the swap charge, and a demo account is offered.
Trading runs on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 across desktop, web and mobile, with the broker's own web terminals for each. Funding is by wire transfer, card and Google or Apple Pay, all published as free of broker charges: card and wallet deposits run from 10 to 10,000 units of currency, wire transfers from 50 up to 1,000,000, and the stated minimum withdrawal is $300. Withdrawals requested before 12:00 GMT on a business day are processed the same day, with bank transfers typically arriving in one to three business days. Third-party payments are not accepted, and international telegraphic transfer fees charged by the bank are passed on to the client. Support is by email and live chat, described as available 24/5.
The caveats matter. Seychelles is an offshore, light-touch jurisdiction: a Securities Dealer licence there carries no investor compensation scheme and far weaker oversight than an onshore regulator, so client money depends largely on the firm's own segregation practices rather than on statutory protection. The operator is new, with no verifiable trading record, and the Seychelles company register is not publicly searchable, so the published registration number could not be checked against an official record. The site also prints two different registered addresses, one in the footer and another on the contact page. Prometheus Markets states that it does not serve residents of the United States, Canada, Israel, New Zealand, Iran or North Korea.
It may suit an experienced, cost-sensitive trader who wants raw ECN-style pricing on MetaTrader and understands offshore risk. Traders who need statutory protection for their deposits, or a long verifiable operating history, should look to an onshore-regulated broker instead.

Protection of client money depends on the firm's own segregation arrangements, which cannot be independently verified..
