Summary of the broker
Quantum FX Broker Overview
Quantum FX is a retail forex and CFD brand operated by Quantum FX Ltd., which its own site describes as an international business company incorporated in Saint Lucia under registration number 2024-00507. The company gives a registered address at Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Village, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, and lists a further office in Limassol, Cyprus. Its published material dates the business to January 2024. Trading is offered on MetaTrader 5 only, across three account tiers, with deposits and withdrawals handled entirely in cryptocurrency.
Quantum FX Regulation and License
Quantum FX Ltd. holds no confirmed financial regulation. The company publishes a Saint Lucia certificate of incorporation and a corporate registration number, and it names no financial regulator, no licence number and no supervisory authority anywhere on its website. A certificate of incorporation records that a company exists; it grants no permission to deal in foreign exchange or CFDs, and it carries no client money protection.
The site's own company information page is accurate on this point and describes the document plainly as an incorporation under the International Business Companies Act. Other pages are not. The legal page says the company operates 'within a regulated framework', and the forex page states that Quantum FX is 'approved and overseen by powerful regulators'. No such approval or oversight exists on the evidence available.
Is Quantum FX Regulated?
No. Quantum FX has no financial licence that this research could confirm, from any authority, in any jurisdiction. A client trading with Quantum FX Ltd. has no financial regulator to complain to, no compensation scheme behind the balance, and no supervised requirement that client money be segregated from company money.
Is Quantum FX Safe?
Quantum FX carries the risks of an unregulated offshore counterparty, and the safeguards it advertises are technical rather than financial. The site describes SSL encryption, two factor authentication and fraud monitoring, all of which protect an account from intruders and none of which protect a balance from the company that holds it. The operating entity is under two years old and its incorporation could not be confirmed on an official record. The site also publishes no terms of service, client agreement, privacy policy or risk disclosure document, so the conditions governing a deposit are not available to read before making one.
Quantum FX Account Types
Three live accounts are offered, all on MetaTrader 5, all denominated in USD, and none of them swap free.
- Standard: $100 minimum deposit, leverage to 1:500, spreads from 0.7 pips, no commission, 50 percent stop out.
- Pro: $1,000 minimum deposit, leverage to 1:200, spreads from 0.4 pips, commission charged, 50 percent stop out.
- VIP: $10,000 minimum deposit, leverage to 1:100, spreads from 0 pips, commission charged, 80 percent stop out.
All three share a 0.01 lot minimum trade size, a maximum of 50 open positions and market execution.
Quantum FX Spreads, Commissions and Fees
Trading cost sits in the spread on the Standard account and shifts to a commission on the Pro and VIP tiers, which buy tighter spreads in exchange. The company confirms that commission applies to Pro and VIP but does not publish the amount it charges per lot on either, so the total cost of trading those two accounts cannot be worked out from the website. Deposits and withdrawals are advertised as free of broker fees.
Quantum FX Leverage
Leverage runs inversely to account size, from 1:500 on the Standard account down to 1:200 on Pro and 1:100 on VIP. Leverage at 1:500 is well above what supervised retail brokers in most major markets are permitted to offer.
Quantum FX Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 5 is the only platform, served from the QuantumFX-Trade server, with Windows, iOS and Android builds and a browser based WebTrader. There is no MT4 offering and no proprietary desktop terminal.
Quantum FX Deposits and Withdrawals
Funding is cryptocurrency only. USDT is accepted on the TRC20, ERC20 and BEP20 networks, with a $100 minimum deposit and a $20 minimum withdrawal, no stated maximum in either direction, and no broker fee. Bank transfers and cards are not available, which the company confirms directly. Withdrawals require completed identity verification. This matters beyond convenience: a crypto only funding route removes the card chargeback and bank recall options that give a client a second route to their money when a broker will not return it. The published withdrawal timings are also inconsistent, with the withdrawal page promising a maximum of two hours during business hours and the help centre stating up to 24 hours.
Quantum FX Support
Support is offered by live chat, email and a telephone line on a United Kingdom number, and the company states it is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The site is published in English, Persian, Arabic, French and Russian.
Quantum FX Pros and Cons
Pros
- A low $100 entry point on the Standard account and a 0.01 lot minimum trade size.
- A named legal entity with a registration number and two disclosed office addresses.
- MetaTrader 5 across desktop, mobile and browser, with no fees charged on deposits or withdrawals.
Cons
- No confirmed financial licence from any authority.
- Marketing text on the site claims regulatory oversight that does not exist.
- No terms of service, client agreement or risk disclosure published.
- Commission amounts on the Pro and VIP accounts are not disclosed.
- Cryptocurrency is the only way in and out, leaving no payment provider recourse.
Quantum FX Review and Assessment
Quantum FX presents as a working brokerage with a real platform, a coherent account range and a disclosed operating company, but it sells access to leveraged markets without any financial authorisation behind it, and parts of its own site describe that position inaccurately. The single most important thing to understand before funding an account is that a Saint Lucia incorporation is not a licence, and that the crypto only funding channel means a disputed balance would have to be recovered from the company directly, with no regulator and no payment provider in a position to intervene.
Regulatory Licenses
Compliance & oversight
Trading with an unregulated broker puts your deposit at risk.
No regulation
We have not confirmed any regulation for Quantum FX. An unregulated broker is not supervised by a financial authority, and money you deposit is protected only by the company itself.
What this means for you
- No compensation scheme covers your funds.
- No regulator to escalate a complaint to.
- No audit of how client money is held.

How we know
- 1The site footer disclaimer, repeated on every page including https://quantumfx.forex/company/legal/, states that the broker does not offer its investment or ancillary services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including but not limited to the USA and the UAE. Those two are the only jurisdictions named, so US and AE are recorded as confirmed blocks.
- 2The same wording adds 'and other restricted countries' without naming any, so no further country is inferred from it and no code is recorded on that basis.
- 3United States dependent territories are not named anywhere on the site; PR, GU, VI, AS, MP and UM are recorded as covered by the named block on the United States rather than as blocks the broker stated itself.
- 4The help centre at https://quantumfx.forex/help-center/ states that clients from certain countries cannot register and that account opening is unavailable where the country of residence is on the restricted countries list. That list is referred to but is not published anywhere on the site, so the individual countries on it are unknown.
- 5The registration form at https://my.quantumfx.forex/auth/signup/ presents a complete 247 entry country selector that includes both the United States and the United Arab Emirates, so onboarding does not enforce the restriction the footer states. No country is recorded as whitelisted, because an unfiltered worldwide selector is not an explicit acceptance of any jurisdiction.
- 6The deposit and withdrawal pages at https://quantumfx.forex/funding/deposit/ and https://quantumfx.forex/funding/withdraw/ publish no country restrictions.
- 7No terms of service, client agreement, privacy policy or AML policy document is published on the site, so none could be read for restriction clauses.
Recorded by WIKILIX research, not published by the broker, and not a guarantee. A country listed nowhere above is not thereby accepted — check Quantum FX's own terms before you open an account.
