Broker Summary
Summary of the broker
RKX is an online forex and CFD brand trading at rkx.com. The site's own footer names RKX Financial LC Limited, a Saint Lucia company at Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Village, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, as the owner and operator of the website, and it is that entity a retail client contracts with. The brand describes itself as established in 2019.
Regulation, and the caveat that matters most. RKX presents itself on its About page as a multi-regulated broker, naming a Financial Services Authority licence numbered SD160 and a Financial Sector Conduct Authority licence numbered 54775. Two things need saying plainly. First, neither licence is held by the Saint Lucia company that takes the deposits, and Saint Lucia itself imposes no forex supervision on it. Second, the UK authorisation that sits behind the group, firm reference 833414 in the name of RKX FINANCIAL UK LIMITED, is scoped to institutional clients and does not authorise retail business at all; UK Companies House records that same company (number 10684079) as having traded under a different name until January 2026. A South African derivatives permission in the name of RKX Financial SA (Pty) Ltd was confirmed as issued on 30 June 2025, though the number RKX publishes on its own site does not match it. None of this gives a retail client outside South Africa a regulator to complain to, and none of it puts client money inside a compensation scheme.
What they offer. Trading is on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 across forex, indices, metals, commodities and US and Chinese share CFDs, quoted as more than 200 instruments. Three accounts are published: Core with no minimum deposit and spreads from 1.4 pips, Micro from 300 USD on the same spreads, and Pro from 2,000 USD with spreads from 0.6 pips and a commission of 6 per lot. Maximum leverage is 1:1000 on every tier, the minimum lot is 0.01, the stop-out level is 30%, and Expert Advisors are permitted. Leverage at that level is far beyond what any onshore regulator allows a retail client and it multiplies losses as fast as gains.
Funding and support. The broker says deposits and withdrawals run through cards, bank transfer and e-wallets, and advertises more than ten payment methods and twenty account currencies, but it publishes no fee table, no processing times and no minimum or maximum limits, so the real cost of moving money in and out is not disclosed anywhere on the site. Support is by email at [email protected] and by a UK telephone number, described as available around the clock; there is no live chat on the public site.
Restricted countries. RKX states it does not serve residents of the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Malaysia, North Korea or the UAE. Its signup form also declines China. UK visitors are routed away to a separate UK-facing domain.
Who it suits, and the honest caveats. RKX will appeal to experienced traders who want high leverage, EA support and a familiar MetaTrader environment, and who accept offshore counterparty risk knowingly. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs a regulator with jurisdiction over their account, segregated-fund guarantees they can enforce, or an ombudsman. Beyond the licensing gap, our research found a consistent pattern of client reports that profits were cancelled or withdrawals refused after a deposit had cleared, which is the single most serious complaint category a broker can attract. The brand is also young in market terms and its published licence details do not line up with the certificates behind them. Treat any deposit here as capital you can afford to lose in full, keep balances small, and test a withdrawal early.
