Is SupremeFX a scam?

Wikilix independent safety report

Read the full report
0%Scam riskScam risk is our overall estimate that this broker is unsafe, from 0% (safe) to 100% (almost certainly a scam). It blends the six risk areas below, weighted by how strong the evidence is. Higher means riskier.
High risk (unverified)Our overall call, based on the evidence we could verify. From safest to worst: Appears legitimate, Insufficient evidence, High risk (unverified), Likely scam, Confirmed scam. A separate "Not a broker" verdict is used when it does not really offer trading.Confidence: MEDIUMHow sure we are of this verdict, based on how much solid, checkable evidence we found. Shown as Low, Medium or High.
2.5/5Safety rating 2.5 out of 5
The Wikilix safety rating, from 1 to 5 stars. It mirrors the scam risk (5 = safest, 1 = riskiest), so a higher risk percentage means fewer stars.

SupremeFX is not a clone and it does hold a real licence, but we rate it high risk: clients repeatedly report that realized profits were cancelled after they became profitable, and a second SupremeFX…

Broker Summary

Summary of the broker

SupremeFX is the trade name of Sun Capital Markets Ltd, an investment firm incorporated in the Republic of Seychelles under company number 8431497-1 and confirmed on the Seychelles Business Register as company C8431497. The firm holds a Securities Dealer licence from the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles, licence number SD145, and gives its business address as CT House, Office 4E, Providence, Mahe, Seychelles, with a registered address at Office 9A of the same building. It also names a representative office at the Maze Tower, Shaikh Zayed Road, Dubai.

Regulation. The Seychelles Securities Dealer licence is genuine but offshore and low tier. It carries no compensation scheme and no client money insurance, so a Seychelles licence does not give a retail client the protections an onshore regulator provides. The Dubai Economic Department registration the firm cites for its representative office is a commercial trade licence, not a financial services authorisation, and should not be read as a second layer of supervision.

What they offer. Trading is on MetaTrader 5 only, on the SupremeFX-Server trade server, with desktop, Android and iOS builds. The broker describes itself as a straight through processing broker remunerated by the spread rather than by commission. Three account tiers are published: Standard from 1.2 pips with a 200 USD minimum and leverage to 1:500, Advanced from 0.8 pips with a 1,000 USD minimum and leverage to 1:500, and PRO from 0.1 to 0.2 pips with a 2,500 USD minimum and leverage to 1:200. Islamic swap free accounts are available on request, subject to approval, an administrative fee after a three day grace period and a seven day maximum holding period. The product range is quoted as more than 60 FX pairs across majors, minors and exotics, plus CFDs on metals, indices, energies, shares, ETFs and cryptocurrencies.

Funding. Deposits can be made by bank wire, USDT or card, with no broker charge on wire and USDT deposits and a 2.99 percent card processor fee the firm says it passes through rather than retains. Card deposits are capped at 10,000 USD per transaction. Withdrawals are only paid by bank wire or USDT, with minimums of 100 USD and 50 USD respectively. One withdrawal per calendar month is free; further withdrawals cost 0.5 percent with a 15 USD minimum, and a 15 USD charge applies to funds withdrawn without trading or within 30 days of deposit. Requests are processed in 24 to 48 working hours, Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm GMT+4.

Who it suits, and the caveats. The offering will suit a trader who wants high leverage, tight PRO tier spreads and swap free access, and who accepts offshore counterparty risk. Several caveats are worth weighing first. The minimum deposit for the Standard account is published inconsistently across the site, as 200 USD on the accounts page and 100 USD on the company profile page. The site claims both more than 10 years and more than 20 years of experience in different places, and neither is supported by the corporate record. The client service agreement states a 50 percent automatic close out level where the accounts pages state stop outs of 30 and 45 percent, and it still contains an unfilled placeholder where the leverage schedule should be linked. The products page describes the offering as trading with an Accuindex account, a competitor's brand name left in the copy. The firm publishes a regional restriction notice excluding the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Israel, Japan, North Korea, Belgium and UN or EU sanctioned countries, yet its registration form presents an unfiltered world country list that includes every one of them. As with any offshore broker, deposit only what you can afford to lose and test the withdrawal process with a small amount before committing capital.
