Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
9/10 · CriticalNo valid financial licence. The only offshore registration (Comoros MISA T2023436) is suspended, and MISA is a non-recognised registrar. The firm takes deposits with no supervision.
Identity & transparency
6/10 · HighA named entity and addresses are disclosed, but ownership is hidden, the Comoros paperwork is split from a Thailand operating desk, and there is no regulatory disclosure.
Withdrawals & conduct
6/10 · HighMultiple review sources describe withdrawal refusals and a pay-tax-to-withdraw advance-fee pattern (fund-integrity), but no first-person account with amounts or dates was found, so the pattern is unconfirmed.
Reputation
7/10 · HighThird-party sentiment has been consistently negative since 2021 with allegations of paid positive reviews, though no regulator warning names the domain and the sources are aggregators.
Website claims
5/10 · ModerateThe site makes no false tier-one licence claim and no age lie, but it hides all withdrawal, fee and fund-protection terms and reuses a template tied to another unregulated broker.
Operational history
3/10 · LowThe brand has run for about five years (2021 certificate and copyright), which is verified; the operating company could not be dated, so the figure is an upper bound.

Regulation

Proof of regulation on an official register: No
We could not confirm this broker on any genuine regulator’s register.
MISA (Mwali International Services Authority), Comoros
Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
We rate Syntex Capital high risk for these reasons:
- No real regulation. The website names no financial regulator. It shows only a Comoros company number, which is a business registration, not a trading licence.
- The one offshore licence is suspended. On the Mwali (Moheli) registry, Syntex Capital Investment Ltd and licence T2023436 appear on the List of Suspended Brokerage Companies, not the authorised list. The licence was issued on 28 December 2023.
- MISA is not meaningful protection. MISA is a self-styled offshore registrar on the Comoros island of Moheli, not a recognised financial regulator, and its licences have been publicly disavowed by the Comoros central bank. Even when active it offers clients almost nothing. Here it is not even active.
- Withdrawal-trap reports. Independent review sites since December 2021 describe the same story: after a deposit, a retention agent pushes for more money, and withdrawals are refused or gated behind a demand to pay tax first. A demand to pay a fee before releasing funds is the classic advance-fee pattern.
- Opaque, split structure. A Comoros shell holds the paperwork while the operating desk sits in Thailand. No owners or directors are named, and the site lists no deposit or withdrawal methods, fees, or client-money safeguards.
- Shared scam-template fingerprint. The site's market-data widgets still carry the tag of orbitglobalfx.com, a separate unregulated broker that independent reviewers have flagged as a scam.
- Why not a firm scam verdict. No regulator has published a warning naming syntexfx.com, and we did not find first-person complaints with amounts, dates or ticket numbers. The reports are consistent but come from review aggregators, so we assess the risk of fraud as high rather than call it proven.
Note on operating history: the 4.9-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Mwali (Moheli) MISA register lists Syntex Capital Investment Ltd with licence T2023436, issued 28 December 2023, on its List of Suspended Brokerage Companies. The entry links to www.syntexfx.com, confirming this is the same operation.
E2The broker's own website names no financial regulator anywhere and shows only a Comoros company number (HY01223073). It offers live MetaTrader 5 trading and account funding but publishes no deposit or withdrawal methods, fees, or client-money protection.
StrongSyntex Capital websiteE3Syntex Capital does not appear on the MISA list of authorised brokerage companies (258 entries); the entity is present only on the suspended list.
ModerateMISA authorised brokerage listE4Independent review sites since December 2021 describe a consistent pattern: after a deposit a retention agent pushes for more money, and withdrawals are refused or blocked behind a demand to pay tax first. No first-person account with amounts or dates was located.
Moderateforexdepositbonuses.comE5The market-data widgets on syntexfx.com still carry the tag orbitglobalfx.com, tying this site's template to Orbit Global FX, a separate unregulated broker that independent reviewers have flagged as a scam.
ModerateSyntex Capital website sourceE6The operation runs from a physical office in Nong Prue, Chonburi, Thailand with a +66 phone, while the licensed entity is a Comoros shell. There is no supervision in either place.
ModerateSyntex Capital contact pageE7MISA is a self-styled offshore registrar on the Comoros island of Moheli rather than a recognised financial regulator, so the registration offered clients little protection even before it was suspended.
ModerateMwali (Moheli) MISA registerE8The domain syntexfx.com shows a TLS certificate from November 2021 and the site carries a 2021 copyright, while the current registration dates to May 2023. The brand has been reviewed as a scam since December 2021, indicating continuous operation for about five years.
ModerateCertificate transparency recordsE9No regulator warning names syntexfx.com. A similarly named FCA warning targets a different firm and domain (SYNTHEX, synthexcapitals.com), which we did not attribute to this broker.

The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
In fairness, here is the case for caution before condemning:
- The MISA licence was genuinely issued on 28 December 2023, so the company did once hold a real, if near-worthless, offshore registration rather than a wholly invented number.
- The website is live and functional, offers a recognised platform (MetaTrader 5), and has run under one brand for roughly five years, which a pure hit-and-run scam usually does not.
- The firm does not claim a tier-one licence it lacks, and its copyright date matches the age we can verify, so there is no obvious age or licence lie on the site itself.
- No regulator warning names syntexfx.com, and no first-person victim account with transaction detail surfaced, so the withdrawal-trap reports stay descriptive rather than proven.
- Some offshore brokers with weak licences do let clients trade and withdraw; low-tier regulation is a risk tier, not automatic proof of theft.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Our view would move if any of the following appeared:
- Worse: a regulator warning naming syntexfx.com, or several first-person complaints with amounts, dates and ticket numbers describing refused withdrawals, would push this to a scam verdict.
- Worse: a confirmed demand to pay a tax or fee before releasing a specific client's funds would be decisive on its own.
- Better: a reinstated, verifiable licence from a credible regulator, plus a clear record of clients withdrawing without obstruction, would lower the risk.
- Better: published owners, audited client-fund segregation, and transparent deposit and withdrawal terms would improve the transparency picture.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is Syntex Capital a scam?
We rate Syntex Capital (syntexfx.com) high risk and would not deposit with it. It is unregulated, its only offshore licence is suspended, and independent reviews describe refused withdrawals. We stop short of calling it a proven scam only because no regulator warning names the site and we found no first-person victim account with transaction detail.
Is Syntex Capital a fraud?
No court or regulator has found Syntex Capital guilty of fraud, and no fraud-related action names this exact company or website. On the evidence we assess the risk of fraud as high: it is unregulated, its licence is suspended, and reviewers report withdrawal refusals and demands to pay tax before releasing funds.
Is Syntex Capital regulated?
No. The website names no financial regulator. Its only registration was an offshore Comoros MISA licence (T2023436), which now appears on that registry's list of suspended companies. MISA is not a recognised financial regulator.
What is the MISA T2023436 licence and is it valid?
It is an offshore registration issued on 28 December 2023 by the Mwali (Moheli) authority in the Comoros. It is not valid now: the Mwali registry lists it as suspended. Even when active, MISA offers almost no client protection and has been disavowed by the Comoros central bank.
Can I withdraw my money from Syntex Capital?
Multiple reviews since 2021 report that withdrawals are refused, delayed, or blocked behind a demand to pay tax first. If you have a balance, request a full withdrawal in writing now and keep records. Do not pay any fee asked as a condition of release.
Is my money safe with Syntex Capital?
Treat it as unsafe. There is no valid licence, no client-money segregation statement, and no compensation scheme. If the firm keeps your funds, there is no regulator to force a refund.
Who owns Syntex Capital and where is it based?
The stated entity is Syntex Capital Investment Ltd, registered in Fomboni, Moheli, Comoros. Its operating office is in Chonburi (the Pattaya area), Thailand, with a +66 phone. No owners or directors are named on the site.
How old is Syntex Capital?
The website has run under this brand since about 2021 (its earliest certificate is November 2021 and the copyright says 2021), so roughly five years. The current domain registration was renewed in May 2023.
Is Syntex Capital a clone of a regulated firm?
No. Its name, website and licence number all match the same Comoros entity, so it is not impersonating another company. Note that an unrelated firm, SYNTHEX (synthexcapitals.com), carries an FCA warning; that is a different business.
They asked me to pay tax before I could withdraw. Should I?
No. A genuine broker deducts any tax at source and never asks you to pre-pay a fee to unlock your own funds. A pay-first demand is the classic advance-fee trick. Stop paying and keep the evidence.
I think I was scammed by Syntex Capital. What should I do?
Stop sending money. Ask your bank about a chargeback if you paid by card (Visa and Mastercard allow investment-fraud chargebacks for an extended period). Report it to your national regulator. Ignore anyone promising to recover your funds for an upfront fee.
What should I check before depositing with any broker?
Confirm a licence from a credible regulator (such as the FCA, ASIC or CySEC) directly on that regulator's own register, check that the website listed on the register matches, look for clear withdrawal terms, and search for independent reviews mentioning payouts. If any of these are missing, do not deposit.

What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
For anyone considering or already using Syntex Capital:
- Do not send new money. The firm holds no valid licence and its offshore registration is suspended.
- If you hold a balance, request a full withdrawal now and keep written records of every request and reply.
- Never pay a tax, fee or deposit demanded as a condition of releasing your funds. That request is itself the warning sign.
- If you paid by card, ask your bank about a chargeback. Visa and Mastercard allow investment-fraud chargebacks for an extended period.
- Be wary of anyone who contacts you promising to recover your money for an upfront fee. Recovery scams target people who have already lost money.
- Report the operation to your national financial regulator.
