Every language version of the TASS FX homepage tells you client funds are segregated and insured. The client agreement promises neither. It says your deposit goes into TASS's own account and the accounts of its payment agents.
Why this matters
If TASS stops paying out, you are an unsecured creditor of a Saint Vincent company. TASS names no segregation clause, no insurer and no compensation scheme anywhere in the documents it publishes.
Exhibit 1Every flagged clause gets its own number so you can point at this one. The number does not change, so a link to it keeps working.CriticalHow much this clause can cost you, in our reading. Critical can take your money or your profit. Warning can delay or limit it. Notice is simply worth knowing before you sign.
Company’s Account is a Company’s current account in a financial institution, an account (wallet) in electronic payment system as well as other accounts including accounts of Paying Agents.
Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC, and firms under ESMA rules, must hold retail client money apart from the firm's own money and must belong to an investor compensation scheme. This contract puts client money into the company's own accounts and names no scheme.
TASS is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.
