Most Popular Questions

Through Taurex's own Complaints Handling Procedure (version 2.1), under which the broker contacts the client within 21 business days and issues a final response within 90 days of the complaint being lodged. The procedure names no independent dispute body and the broker publishes no dedicated complaints email; complaints about Taurex Global Limited can be taken to its regulator, the Seychelles FSA, while the Financial Ombudsman Service covers only Taurex Limited's own UK business. Clients must object to a transaction within 24 hours by phone or by email to info@tradetaurex.com (clause 20.1 of the client agreement), and the agreement is governed by Seychelles law (clause 36.1).

Only in some jurisdictions. The client agreement (version 10, July 2026) says negative balance protection resets a balance that falls below zero to zero, provided Taurex's trading systems and protection plugin are working correctly (clause 24.1), but that it is available only for accounts in jurisdictions the company designates; elsewhere negative balances are handled manually, case by case (clause 24.2).

Yes. Under its client agreement (version 10, July 2026), an account with no activity for 90 calendar days is treated as inactive, and once the client has been notified Taurex may charge USD 20 a month, or another amount it notifies (clause 31.1). If an inactive account holds USD 20 or less, Taurex may keep the balance, and a balance it keeps is non-refundable.

Its own pages and its contract disagree. The account tables say scalping is allowed on Standard Zero, Pro Zero and Raw, but the client agreement (version 10, July 2026) lists scalping, described as rapid buying and selling within short timeframes, among prohibited trading practices (clause 30.1(a)) and lets Taurex decide in its sole and absolute discretion what counts as abuse (clause 30.1). Where it finds abuse, it may hold withdrawals for review for up to 48 hours (clause 30.2).

Yes, in the cases its client agreement (version 10, July 2026) sets out. A catch-all clause lets Taurex act whenever it reasonably believes this necessary to protect its own interests or those of its clients (clause 15.1(n)), including by refusing to let a client withdraw (clause 15.2(ix)), and where it finds abuse it may hold withdrawals for review for up to 48 hours (clause 30.2). Its Payments Policy (version 4.1, May 2026) accepts deposits and withdrawals only from the client's declared country of residence and warns that breaching this can lead to the forfeiture of funds (clauses 4.1 and 4.4).

Taurex says it offers more than 1,500 instruments across forex, metals, shares, commodities, indices and cryptocurrencies. Its range includes 51 currency pairs and 36 cryptocurrencies.

Yes. Copy Trading by Taurex is a separate iOS and Android app that copies signal providers onto a Taurex MT4 or MT5 account, and providers can charge a performance fee of up to 50% on a high-watermark basis. MT4 clients can also use a Social Trading portal powered by Brokeree inside the client area, and Taurex offers a PAMM service through its support team without published terms.

Yes, on request, but the broker's pages and its contract set different terms. The swap-free page and FAQ offer a swap-free option on all account types by email to support@tradetaurex.com, lasting 10 days by default or up to 30 days in Malaysia and Thailand, after which the normal daily swap applies; some symbols are excluded and admin fees can apply. The client agreement (version 10, July 2026) grants swap-free accounts to clients of the Islamic faith in certain jurisdictions, for a period the company sets and revocable (clause 28), and if Taurex, in its opinion, detects abuse it may close all the client's accounts, nullify all trades and cancel any profits or losses (clause 28.6).

Taurex's Payments Policy (version 4.1, May 2026) says it does not generally charge deposit or withdrawal fees but may pass on third-party payment costs. The same policy charges up to 3.5% on withdrawals from accounts that have never traded, and 0.5% where Taurex provides the currency conversion rate. Its withdrawals FAQ describes it differently, saying withdrawal fees vary by amount, method and currency and are shown only once the withdrawal has been processed.

Taurex's funding page gives up to 3 hours for cards, up to 24 hours for Apple Pay, Google Pay and mobile payments, instant withdrawals for Skrill, Neteller and crypto, and up to 3 business days for bank wire. Its withdrawals FAQ gives longer times for some methods, saying e-wallets usually take up to 24 hours and bank transfers 3 to 5 business days. Withdrawals go back to the original payment method first, up to the amount deposited with it, and Taurex may hold a withdrawal for review for up to 48 hours where it identifies abuse.

Taurex's funding page lists debit and credit cards in USD, EUR or GBP, bank wire, Skrill, Neteller, Apple Pay, Google Pay, mobile payments and cryptocurrencies, and its FAQ also mentions online bank payments; the methods offered depend on region and IP address. Deposits are instant except bank wire, which takes up to 3 business days, and crypto deposits are converted into fiat currency by the broker's payment provider on receipt. Cash deposits and payments from third parties are not accepted.

Spreads are variable, starting from 1.4 pips on Standard Zero, 1.0 on Pro Zero and 0.0 on Raw. Raw is the only account with a standard commission: $3.0 per side on forex and gold in the broker's account tables, although the text of its pricing page says commissions start as low as $2 per lot per side. Clients introduced by a partner can pay more, because the broker's Partner Agreement (version 3.3) lets Taurex quote them wider spreads or charge them additional commissions at the partner's request (clauses 5.1 and 5.2).

Taurex offers three main accounts: Standard Zero and Pro Zero, which charge no commission and have spreads from 1.4 and 1.0 pips and minimum deposits of $0 and $100, and Raw, with spreads from 0.0 pips, a commission of $3.0 per side on forex and gold, and a $500 minimum. All three offer leverage of up to 1:2000, and a separate Cent Account starts from $0 with balances shown in US cents. The account tables say scalping, Expert Advisors and hedging are allowed on all three, but the client agreement (version 10, July 2026) lists scalping among prohibited trading practices (clause 30.1(a)).

Taurex is a trading name of Taurex Global Limited, the Seychelles company that contracts with Taurex's retail clients and that its client agreement gives as company number 8428731-1. The company was on the Seychelles FSA's Securities Dealer list on 22 October 2026. The group also includes Taurex Limited in the UK (company number 11077380, formerly Zenfinex Limited), which holds the group's FCA authorisation for professional clients, and Taurex Financial Services L.L.C. in Dubai, which facilitates account opening, while XRT Capital Solutions Limited in Cyprus acts as Taurex Global Limited's payment agent.

Yes. The taurex.asia site says its information is not directed at residents of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Belgium, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, North Korea or Iran. Malaysia is less clear-cut, because the broker's FAQ also describes a longer swap-free period for clients in Malaysia and Thailand. Visitors from the European Union are told that Taurex Global Limited's services are not subject to EU regulation and that onboarding with the Seychelles company happens on a reverse solicitation basis.

Taurex advertises 24/7 support by live chat, by email at support@tradetaurex.com, and by phone or WhatsApp on +971 4 552 3593, with a call-back request form on its contact page. It also publishes regional phone lines for Latin America, the Gulf states, Africa, Malaysia and Thailand. Support is offered in English, Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Malay and Thai.

Yes. Taurex advertises leverage of up to 1:2000 for forex and CFDs on its Standard Zero, Pro Zero and Raw accounts, which are offered by Taurex Global Limited under its Seychelles licence. The Cent Account page gives no leverage figure.

Taurex's account page lists a minimum deposit of $0 for Standard Zero, $100 for Pro Zero and $500 for Raw, and its Cent Account starts from $0 depending on the payment provider and the client's country. The broker's documents are not consistent on this point: its client agreement (version 10, July 2026) requires at least USD 50 or equivalent before the first trade, and its swap-free page shows starting deposits of $0 or $50 with exceptions in some countries.

Taurex offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 on Windows, web, Android and iOS, and its own Taurex Trading App for iOS and Android, which trades through a linked MT5 account and uses TradingView charts. Copy trading runs through a separate Copy Trading by Taurex app on MT4 or MT5 accounts, MT4 clients can also use a Social Trading portal powered by Brokeree inside the client area, and a FIX API is available on request.

Yes, but offshore, and with little protection for retail clients. Taurex Global Limited, the Seychelles company that holds Taurex retail accounts, is on the Seychelles FSA's Securities Dealer list (checked by WIKILIX on 22 October 2026) and gives its licence number as SD092; that licence carries no investor compensation scheme, while the FCA authorisation of sister company Taurex Limited (816055) covers only professional clients and eligible counterparties, and the Dubai company's UAE licence is advice-only. The client agreement says clients will not benefit from any compensation scheme for forex trading (clause 5.2(c)) and that money transferred to cover open positions is not client money (clause 16.2), although the broker's marketing describes client funds as segregated and its translations in five languages promise $1 million of protection that the English text, which prevails (clause 37.1), does not mention. Negative balance protection applies only in jurisdictions Taurex designates (clause 24.2).
