Taurex Broker Overview
Taurex is a forex and CFD broker operated by Taurex Global Limited, the Seychelles company that contracts with its retail clients and is licensed by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) as a securities dealer. The brand runs the taurex.asia and tradetaurex.com websites and has also traded as Zenfinex. It offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and its own Taurex Trading App, more than 1,500 instruments across forex, metals, shares, commodities, indices and cryptocurrencies, three main account types plus a Cent Account, and advertised leverage of up to 1:2000.
Taurex Regulation and License
Taurex Global Limited is licensed by the Seychelles FSA as a securities dealer. The FSA's Securities Dealer list included the company on 22 October 2026, and an FSA notice dated 9 April 2026 describes it as licensed and regulated. The licence number, SD092, is the one published on the broker's site. This is the licence behind accounts opened through taurex.asia. It comes with no investor compensation scheme, and complaints about the company can be taken to the FSA.
Two other group companies hold licences of their own. Taurex Limited, registered in England and Wales under number 11077380, is authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under firm reference number 816055, a listing WIKILIX checked on the FCA register on 22 October 2026. That authorisation covers arranging and dealing in CFDs and rolling spot forex for professional clients and eligible counterparties only, so it does not extend to Taurex retail accounts, and FCA rules, the Financial Ombudsman Service and the FSCS apply only to Taurex Limited's own business. In Dubai, Taurex Financial Services L.L.C. holds a Category 5 ranking and advice licence from the UAE Capital Market Authority, formerly the Securities and Commodities Authority. The authority listed the company as active on 22 October 2026. It is an advice licence, not a trading licence, and the Dubai company may not hold client money.
Is Taurex Regulated?
Yes, but offshore. Taurex retail clients contract with Taurex Global Limited under its Seychelles FSA licence, while the group's UK authorisation belongs to Taurex Limited and is limited to professional clients and eligible counterparties. The site says its information is not directed at residents of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan and several other countries, and it tells visitors from the European Union that Taurex Global Limited's services are not subject to EU regulation and that onboarding takes place on a reverse solicitation basis.
Taurex Global Limited
Taurex and Taurex Prime are registered trading names of Taurex Global Limited, which its client agreement gives as company number 8428731-1, with a registered office at Suite 18, Third Floor, Vairam Building, Providence, Mahé, and a physical office at Suite 3, Office 4, Third Floor, KB Emporium, Providence, Mahé. Taurex Prime has its own website, which presents it as a forex and CFD liquidity provider and names Taurex Limited and Taurex Global Limited as the companies trading under it. Taurex Limited appears under its earlier name, Zenfinex Limited, in the broker's Best Execution Policy.
Two more companies named in the site's footer handle parts of the client relationship. Taurex Financial Services L.L.C. in Dubai facilitates account opening and the offering of CFD services by Taurex Global Limited, and XRT Capital Solutions Limited in Cyprus (registration number HE479928) acts as Taurex Global Limited's payment agent for receiving and processing client funds.
Is Taurex Safe?
Taurex's licences are confirmed on the regulators' registers, but the protection behind its retail accounts is thin and its own legal documents give the broker wide discretion. Retail accounts sit with an offshore company that offers no investor compensation scheme, and the client agreement (version 10, July 2026) says clients will not benefit from any compensation scheme for their forex trading (clause 5.2(c)). The broker's marketing describes client funds as segregated, yet the same agreement says money a client transfers to cover open positions does not count as client money (clause 16.2), and translations of its pages in five languages promise $1 million of protection that the English agreement, which prevails over any translation (clause 37.1), never mentions.
The agreement lets Taurex decide in its sole and absolute discretion what counts as market abuse or a prohibited trading practice (clause 30.1), and a catch-all default clause allows it to act whenever it reasonably believes this necessary to protect its interests (clause 15.1(n)), including by refusing to let a client withdraw (clause 15.2(ix)). Negative balance protection depends on Taurex's systems working correctly and applies only in jurisdictions the company designates, with negative balances elsewhere handled case by case (clauses 24.1 and 24.2). Clients have 24 hours to object to a trade (clause 20.1), Taurex's liability is capped at the fees paid in the 30 days before a claim (clause 22.5), and complaints go through an internal procedure that promises a final response within 90 days and names no independent dispute body.
Taurex Account Types
Taurex lists three main accounts. Standard Zero and Pro Zero charge no commission, with spreads from 1.4 and 1.0 pips and minimum deposits of $0 and $100; Raw has spreads from 0.0 pips, a commission of $3.0 per side on forex and gold, and a $500 minimum. All three advertise a 100% margin call and a 20% stop out, although the client agreement lets Taurex raise the stop out and close positions below a 100% margin level in the events it lists, which include any case where it considers this necessary for its own protection (clauses 15.1(h) and 15.2(viii)). The account tables say scalping, Expert Advisors and hedging are allowed on all three, but the client agreement lists scalping among prohibited trading practices (clause 30.1(a)). A Cent Account, available to clients under the Seychelles licence, starts from $0 and shows balances in US cents for trading in micro and nano lots.
The $0 minimum is not a settled figure. The client agreement requires a deposit of at least USD 50 or equivalent before the first trade (clause 2.5), the swap-free page shows starting deposits of $0 or $50 with exceptions in some countries and $25 for Pro Zero in select countries, and a commodities answer in the broker's FAQ gives a £500 minimum for its Standard account. FAQ answers also mention VIP and RAW Gold accounts that the accounts page does not list.
A swap-free option can be requested on any account by email to support. The broker's FAQ gives 10 days by default, or up to 30 days in Malaysia and Thailand, after which the normal daily swap applies, and some symbols are excluded and charged swap from the first day. The client agreement is narrower: it grants swap-free accounts to clients of the Islamic faith in certain jurisdictions, for a period the company sets and revocable (clause 28), and where Taurex, in its opinion, detects abuse of a swap-free account it may close all the client's accounts, nullify all trades and cancel any profits or losses (clause 28.6).
Taurex Spreads, Commissions and Fees
Spreads are variable, and Raw is the only account with a standard commission: $3.0 per side on forex and gold in the broker's account tables, although the text of its pricing page says commissions start as low as $2 per lot per side. The Partner Agreement (version 3.3) lets Taurex, at a partner's request, quote wider spreads or charge additional commissions to clients that partner introduced and pass the difference to the partner (clauses 5.1 and 5.2). The pricing page describes an ECN execution model, while the Conflicts of Interest Policy describes straight-through processing in which Taurex may take the other side of client trades or hedge some of them externally, so that, depending on its exposure, it can gain when a client loses.
The client agreement allows a monthly fee of USD 20 once an account has had no activity for 90 days and the client has been notified, and Taurex may keep an inactive balance of USD 20 or less, which is then non-refundable (clause 31.1). The Payments Policy (version 4.1, May 2026) adds a 0.5% fee where Taurex provides the currency conversion rate and up to 3.5% on withdrawals from accounts that have never traded, late payments owed to Taurex carry interest of 5% a month above its base rate (clause 10.2), and swap-free accounts can carry admin fees that depend on the client's country and the instrument.
Taurex Leverage
Taurex advertises leverage of up to 1:2000 for forex and CFDs on Standard Zero, Pro Zero and Raw, under its Seychelles licence. The Cent Account page gives no leverage figure.
Taurex Trading Platforms
Taurex offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 for Windows, web, Android and iOS, both with Trading Central tools. Its own Taurex Trading App for iOS and Android trades through a linked MT5 account with TradingView charts, and a separate Copy Trading by Taurex app copies signal providers onto MT4 or MT5 accounts, with providers able to charge a performance fee of up to 50% on a high-watermark basis. MT4 clients can also use a Social Trading portal powered by Brokeree inside the client area, a PAMM service is available through support without published terms, and a FIX API is offered on request for a monthly fee that can be waived above a set trading volume.
Taurex Deposits and Withdrawals
The funding page lists debit and credit cards in USD, EUR or GBP, bank wire, Skrill, Neteller, Apple Pay, Google Pay, mobile payments and cryptocurrencies, and the FAQ adds online bank payments; the methods offered depend on region and IP address. Deposits are instant except bank wire, which takes up to 3 business days, and crypto deposits are converted into fiat currency by the payment provider on receipt. The Payments Policy accepts deposits and withdrawals only from the client's declared country of residence and warns that failing to comply can lead to the suspension or termination of account privileges and the forfeiture of funds (clauses 4.1 and 4.4).
For withdrawals the funding page gives up to 3 hours for cards, up to 24 hours for Apple Pay, Google Pay and mobile payments, instant for Skrill, Neteller and crypto, and up to 3 business days for bank wire, while the withdrawals FAQ says e-wallets usually take up to 24 hours and bank transfers 3 to 5 business days. Funds go back to the original method first, up to the amount deposited with it, and Taurex may hold a withdrawal for review for up to 48 hours where it identifies abuse (clause 30.2).
The fee position also differs between documents: the Payments Policy says Taurex does not generally charge deposit or withdrawal fees but may pass on third-party costs, while the withdrawals FAQ says fees vary by amount, method and currency and are shown only after the withdrawal is processed.
Taurex Support
Taurex advertises 24/7 support by live chat, by email at support@tradetaurex.com, and by phone or WhatsApp on +971 4 552 3593, with regional phone lines for Latin America, the Gulf states, Africa, Malaysia and Thailand. It lists offices in Dubai, Mahé in the Seychelles and London, supports English, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Malay and Thai, and publishes no dedicated complaints email.

- The client agreement lets Taurex decide what counts as abuse, prohibits the scalping its account tables allow, and permits refusing withdrawals under a catch-all default clause.
- The broker's documents disagree on the minimum deposit, the Raw commission, the execution model, the swap-free terms, withdrawal times and withdrawal fees.

Taurex Review and Assessment
Taurex combines MetaTrader and in-house platforms, copy trading and leverage of up to 1:2000 with an offshore regulatory base: the company that holds client accounts is licensed in the Seychelles, while the FCA authorisation in the group belongs to a sister company and excludes retail clients. The terms that decide what happens to profits and withdrawals sit in the client agreement rather than on the marketing pages, so that document, and in particular its clauses on abuse, defaults and swap-free accounts, is the one to read before an account is funded.
